I looked at the Aviator Black Label and was completely blown away by how beautiful and refined this Aviator is. This SUV is pure Classic Luxury and the most elegant SUV in its segment.
Such a fine looking vehicle that emphasizes American luxury. Inside and out. It is not shy about chrome and leather and wood. Performance is adequate which is honestly all we need in a vehicle in this segment. And smooth ride. I would buy one one (quality issues and all) in a blue with a saddle interior, love it.
@@penniesfromheaven2511: Car is nothing but trouble. It’s one issue after the other. Just got it back from the dealer after 3 months in the services bay, and it has to go back again. Don’t buy it.
Great review Max. My mother test drive this and had very similar problems and said it felt leggy and hated the seats. I am so impressed by this vehicle but I have to say, after seeing the Genesis GV80 I think I would choose that over the Lincoln. Genesis here in the States offer Black Label service for free as well unlike Lincoln. My real knocks on the Aviator is the high price for a luxury interior and horrible build quality. This issues at the Chicago assembly plant are well documented by the Detroit Free Press.
This Lincoln really stands out in this category, style-wise, and it does the luxury quite well. But I'm with you, the GV80 looks top notch and Genesis has the complimentary & concierge service here in Canada.
My excellent choice was a Mazda CX-9 with hand crafted stitching,Napa leather, & authentic Japanese Rosewood for $37,000 less. Also came with sensible bench seating to accommodate 7,not 6 passengers.
Life is too short to worry about money. You can't take it with you when you die so why not spend it if you've got it. Buy what you like and enjoy the ride. Happiness is looking back at your car when you park it. Nice American car!
$85,000 for the Aviator Reserve it was 3 WEEKS of pure pleasure . Great car!! if your interested in it not being reliable and if you want your vehicle to spend more time in the dealership trying to be repaired or even better if you have children and you really don't care about there safety then yes this is America's best vehicle Oh and I have to mention if you are interested in dealing with a manufacturer who ,once you have purchased your vehicle does not stand up as a grown up but as a child who does not know how to take reasonability than once again here is one more American company that embarrasses the people of this great country around the world as someone they can not trust
12:22 More Polish is the word your looking for. I have not sat in anything newer than 2018 for Lincoln so i cant comment but I see where your going and if its true then yea thats definitely needed.
The Aviator is superior to its German competition (and Land Rover). Plus, its warranty is longer, and even out of warranty, it won't cost a fortune to maintain, unlike its German competitors (and Land Rover). Lincoln is the smartest choice in the luxury SUV market.
Nice job! Today is my day 2 ownership of an Aviator and I agree with most of your observations. Build quality is not what it should be given the price and the fact Ford spent around a $ 1Billion updating their Chicago production facility. I have a paint issue where there was some gunk on the hood that was painted over and will become problematic down the road. I also hard a cut all the way thru the leather on the driver seat you could put your finger in. Again, I have not spent a lot of time yet but my initial thoughts are a little disappointing.
Does anyone have some real world opinion about the aviator in snowy climates. I am purchasing one and I live in the Midwest and just hope it performs well in the snow and ice.
@@ThomasFerrugia as far as the car goes it's great. I had an issue with the air suspension which took forever for them to sort out which was frustrating as hell but they gave me extra warranty on it. Lincoln's customer service was too notch it was just the dealer in my area sucks but it's the only dealer around for 500 miles now. The car itself is great. It drives like you are floating on air. Very smooth. The snow hasn't stopped it at all except for once last winter we got about 4 feet of snow I had to use the truck for that but otherwise it handles everything else pretty well and the fuel economy isn't too bad either!
@@kkoz66 : thank you for that. I’m supposed to take delivery of a CPO 2020 Black Label later this week and am having reservations after reading some terrible stores about their reliability . But the warranty is good through 2026 so I guess I’ll be ok.
Thanks for watching this Aviator review! The one thing I didn't mention was the plug-in hybrid version of the Aviator. I thought the review was too long as it is but I aim to try out the Grand Touring in the near future! Thanks everyone - Max
That wood on the dash the real deal. All cut from the same tree so it matches all the way across.

The new Aviator is so world class......love it !!!!
You must've gotten a defected one because I never heard anybody else complain about this car until now..
Max, I think this is your best video to date. Really, really well done! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I've seen a few of these on the roads here in Toronto and they really look the part, especially at night!

Picking up a 2020 CPO Black Label Aviator blue/saddle tomorrow! Wish me luck . . . .

Good honest review thanks for posting. Really nice
Thanks for watching!
Great review sir !
And yes this is the best outta Lincoln's line up including the cars.
This is a beautiful suv . I would lease it for sure , it’s is luxurious.

Yes, the GV80 has already peaked my interest!
Gv80 looks better and I prefer the interior too.
Very interesting review, not least because it´s so different from Doug Demuro´s review of the same model.
Wow the camper review is a great idea. Make sure potential viewers are aware of yhis value added!
Ok!
Excellent review, Max! I can’t imagine anyone buying this vehicle that’s going to depreciate like crazy in two years time.
Try buying a BMW or Mercedes and see how much they drop in value.

I'm buying a CPO 2020 Black Label with 35,000 miles. Nearly 40% off MSRP.
Excellent video very detailed and as always honest.
Thanks for your continued support!
Thank you for testing the sleeping accommodations.

Excellent Review.
14:45 wrong, wrong, wrong. The back of an aviator equipped with air suspension drops down when you open the hatch.
Great review of a very nice Lincoln! You're very handsome, too.
If you can afford this vehicle, you don't need to save money by camping in the back. 😅

Things like those, you should have caught at the walk around before accepting it and had the dealer correct or choose a different car.
I hope the feelings you have towards your new car improve over time!

If you are in Alberta why does vehicle have Ontario plates ?
You are in a reserve . The Black Label is the top of the line $90,000 and the wood in it is real
you can get a palisade for way cheaper and just as good..
Cabin noise high in palisade?
