We love ours and prefer it to our Audi, BMW, Mercedes for road trips. It drives like a Boss - my wife gave me a second look when I suggested Lincoln.... I just bought and drove home because I knew she would love once she saw in person and drove. She now will not drive anything else from our garage. Air ride suspension, comfortable seats are amazing - plus the technology pkg just spoils.
In terms of a value proposition I'd agree that the Lincoln Aviator is the best Lincoln has to offer. Not necessarily the "Black Label" edition but instead the mid-trim "Reserve" version. In fact with a moderately optioned MSRP of around $65K, it makes the upper trims of the Explorer (ST and Platinum) with MSRP's of $60K+ a difficult value proposition. Better equipped and with a tow rating 1100 lbs more than the Explorer, the Reserve trim Aviator is a far better buy.
Great reviews, love this SUV. I see alot of them where I live and way more than the XT6 but out of all of the midsize 3 row suv's, I see the MDX the most.
Thank you! Nope I’m 5’9” lol. Sometimes this vehicle was in its “entry exit” height with the adjustable suspension so it looked pretty low to the ground
Great review. I am trying to decide between the GLE 350, GV80 and this one. It seems like the loaded Reserve has great value and the dealers are really discounting them right now. What do you think?
Go with this very Black Label. The GLE350, especially a black one is a great bang, but considering other factors like dealership experience, I will not even add the Genesis to the mix. Their 10yr warranty is good (I can extend Lincoln's warranty past that) but dealership experience is very poor. Black Label experience and treatment is top notch, not even Mercedes can match that whether you have an S63 AMG or not.
Lincoln did a fanatic job with this vehicle even if the $80k price tag is painfully hard fo swallow 😮 definitely performs well and now compares well to the European, Japanese and Korean rivals. Sure there are some areas to address but there are in practically every vehicle. I like that Lincoln gives a standard 400 hp motor that doesn't require premium fuel and a rwd biased platform. I think if they would have made it just a bit bigger for more comparable room to a Buick Enclave and a BMW X7 this vehicle would be even more popular and negating the need for a full sized SUV. The materials are pleasing but can be a bit more expensive feeling rather then the cheap plastics used in many areas that get touched. I appreciate Lincoln gives many options and can still be a great vehicle without any of them. Only time will tell if Lincoln can truly compete with the best of the luxury brands in every category rather then just a few...
To each it's own. There are other interior options. You actually need to sit in that interior color in person before deciding. The video or pictures does not do it justice. Go to a Lincoln dealership and experience one.
Nice package, but $15K too much for the black label. At $81K, that cost should include prestige (respect). Lincoln lost that years ago. So did Cadillac, but they've slowly gained it back. Lincoln hasn't done that yet. Audi, BMW, Mercedes - much better snob appeal for the money.
You need to own a Lincoln before whining. Am sure you don't own any of the current Lincoln line up. Prestige is actually Lincoln's 2nd name, not even adding the Black Label owners treatment to it. You literally have no idea. Go lease one, just about any one for 1 year, enjoy the dealership experience then come back and re-comment.
I never would have considered a lincoln. I am really glad I watched. Great review. Now to go for a test drive.

Best looking cuv inside and out. Would've been great if lincoln would've put this much effort into the Continental.
No kidding!
Very nice interior love to have one

Read your manual on the door handle. They do not stop just because there may be no power.
