- In this video we leave Algonquin Provincial Park in Ontario, Canada. We really enjoyed our route through Canada. The border crossing was quick and easy. We crossed at Sault Ste. Marie which brings you into the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It felt good to be back in the U.S. We head straight for Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. We really wanted to fit this into our route and I am so glad we did. Picture Rocks is amazing. Kelly did a 40 mile stretch of the North Country trail while I only did a 10 mile trip. We overnighted at Chapel Beach right on Lake Superior. I say goodbye to Kelly. I will miss her but we will be back together soon. Thanks for joining me on the adventure!

I’ve always enjoyed my better half right beside me when traveling..we talk about where we are where we’re going and maybe what we will do there. We’re headed for 53 years now and still enjoy each other’s company more then any thing else. Our time now that we’re not working are spent with each other, and our grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Wow wow wow Brian! This video has got to be one of the best you've ever produced. What an incredibly stunning area, and you were there at probably the most beautiful time of the year. At 14:42 I said "WOW" out loud - that water! The color! The view! And again, the fact that you let nature do the talking. Love when you get down low for a ground shot of the water and rocks on the beach. How lucky to come across that boat in that spot! Good luck to Kelly on her seasonal job and see her soon. Did you make enough money during the summer so that you don't have to work the beet harvest? First time in a few years you won't be there. Anyway, this video is going in my favorites list for sure to come back to watch again some day. Away you go!! 🌞

You hiked the most beautiful part of Michigan. As a born and raised Michigander, I have yet not been to that area. It’s a 7 hour drive from my southern Michigan home.
Thank goodness for tarps! But seriously, you did a great job of documenting the beauty of a rainy afternoon in the woods. I could even feel the moisture and smell the lovely damp air watching your video.

Hope you got to enjoy a Pastie. The Keweenaw Peninsula is amazing. Seeing copper is the rivers is neat. Beware the deer, they love to get on the roads when the weather starts to cool so they can get some heat.

The more I hear about international travel and how we are treated by both our own and foreign agencies only reenforces my desire to stay in the USA.
The less you respond to negative situations or negative people, the more peaceful your life will become.
Our travel agencies and airlines have won awards for a reason. They are well trained and always receive accolades from travellers worldwide. Air New Zealand.
Well when visiting outside your nation you're the visitor and as you all expect others to do when entering your nation, you must adhere to policies. I lived in US briefly and US customs I would not wish upon anyone. Unbelievable and I've travelled extensively.
