Into the Woods! Route 66 Small Town - Camp Cook

- In this video I depart my camp and head towards the trees. A quick drive through the town of Ash Fork, AZ on old Route 66, resupply in Williams, AZ, then into the trees. I cook up dinner on my camp stove and enjoy serenity of the woods.

Great ending, been missing the flute. The family and I (wife, 2 daughters, 5 and 6) camped North of Williams in the forest back in 72. We were on the way back to the East Coast from a 3 month work stint in Long Beach. Being ready to get home, we left camp and drove non stop , except for restroom, gas and food back home. The entire trip, out, back, was made in a Dodge pick up truck (standard cab, of course). Little close family time for sure, but a lot of memories in that trip.

Thank you. The hat is 4 years old. It’s dirty, soiled, and stinky but I love it. The farmer I work for in North Dakota gave it to me. 🙂
