I work for a pest control company and this product would be great for organizing and storing restricted use pesticides, the powders that we use to kill rats & mice. I have a topper on the frontier and the shelving sits right above where you installed this. Currently i have one of those rubbermaid totes shoved underneath the shelf that has some things in it, but it slides around when I dont have my contrac block bait buckets, backpack sprayer, and water jugs to hold it in place. I appreciate the video and simple explanation.
I wouldn’t drill self tapping screw into my truck , few things:
1. Due to vibration eventually it will get loose , not to mention that that’s a sheet metal screw
2. The weight of it(storage) can eventually make the whole bigger and than a bigger screw will need to be placed
It’s a nice item I just don’t know how I feel about the hardware for the installation

the stock tie-downs are the same type of screws so I think your concern is unwarranted.
@@stevesawatsky Stock tie downs use 6mm threaded bold with 10mm head. Also, if your truck has a spray in liner and didn't come with the factory tie downs and you want to install them, use a tap to clean the threads before installing them.
Hey guys! Thanks for the video. I just got the swing case pair and put them on my 2019 Nissan Frontier Pro4X V6, what a great addition to the bed, it makes it so easy to organize stuff and free some space inside the cabin.
Did it interfere with the utili track system? I ask because on Amazon it says it is for the Titan. I have a 2015 frontier pro 4 x.

do you think the swing case is capable of opening while in it's locked position as well? I see that your traunu cover rail is probably in the way, but do you think the box would open if it wasn't? I'm thinking about ordering a couple of these. Thanks in advance!

Does this work with the utilitrack or does that keep it from swinging shut?
Can you install these and still have the rails for the track system on?

By looking at it, it looks like it would block any track from coming back that far.
It does. And I would recommend just not even getting it 🫠 Ive had more problems with the things then not.
I just think it's too expensive for as thin as it is. I have the utili-track rails in my bed...don't know how it will work with them.
How has this held up? Considering buying but 200 bucks for plastic makes me nervous.

Not worth loosing an anchor . Always need that strap tight for large item

You didn't show the actual installation of the hinge. But you sure covered the part of the "sticky parts" location.

@@nissanfrontiermods9761 still holding up? My dad had one and put wrenches and etc in it, the hinges winded up breaking. Idk if it’s because He was driving crazy or dropped somthing on it but just curious.
