I am looking to bypass the manifold coolant on a 2002 Nissan Frontier KA24DE 2.4 L engine. Any guidance or videos on this?

How much oil do you actually get in your catch can? I ask, because we're talking about vapors. With a long hose run, it'll condense inside the hose. Depending on which end is lower will determine the flow.

Im gonna do this to my 2018 Frontier Pro4X. You did NOT show what you did to the hood bolts.??? You have to remove both bolts right ?? How did you support the hood when you did that ? Or is it just the top hood bolt. ?? Im lost here.

Does this work with the utilitrack or does that keep it from swinging shut?

do you think the swing case is capable of opening while in it's locked position as well? I see that your traunu cover rail is probably in the way, but do you think the box would open if it wasn't? I'm thinking about ordering a couple of these. Thanks in advance!

Great mod. Did you consider since your original vent was still good, maybe just adding the hose and using the original vent inside the tail light? Then you do not have to worry about condensation on the fuel filter. Just a thought enjoy your'e videos sir. Blessings

I recently bought a oil catch can for my 2022 frontier and I was looking online and another video that shows that the in goes to the PVC valve and the our goes to the intake ? Which is the correct way?

I was wondering, do you think if I install a oil catch can on my 2022 Frontier that it will void my warranty? I guess I can remove it if I’m going to the dealer for a oil change

Just a question… would you know if you’re able to use a bed extender with that storage bin? By looking at it, it looks like it would block any track from coming back that far.

I thought a catch can was only necessary for a turbo intercooler engine? A naturally aspirated petrol engine will simply burn off all oil vapour. Catch can prevents the oil vapour in intake from condensing in intercooler and causing problems there

shoot!! I made a mistake by not to remove a hood rod clipper on the driver side after I completed installed both struts. I closed the hood and realized I didn't remove the clipper. thank god it wasn't damage to the hood. So I quickly pop up the hood and removed a clipper.

Did you put anti seize on the threaded areas? I was curious since aluminum has a tendency to gal.

I actually installed this kit on my 2015 Xterra Pro4X. The hood prop just comes out, you can maneuver it a certain way it literally pulls out. The tab that holds the original prop rod you just get a screwdriver or wrench under it and pry up, it'll pop out. I was curious, because you didnt show it and I didnt use it either...there are two little brackets that are included I didnt have to use. Was waiting to see if you mentioned it as well. But these are a great upgrade, i do it on all my vehicles now including my 2016 Focus ST. For under the hood, I'll prob also do a work light install since you know..its nice to see in the engine bay if its dark ^_^

Installed on 3 months ago. Amazing how much oil it catches.

I just think it's too expensive for as thin as it is. I have the utili-track rails in my bed...don't know how it will work with them.

I wouldn’t drill self tapping screw into my truck , few things: 1. Due to vibration eventually it will get loose , not to mention that that’s a sheet metal screw 2. The weight of it(storage) can eventually make the whole bigger and than a bigger screw will need to be placed It’s a nice item I just don’t know how I feel about the hardware for the installation Great video though
