It is quite likely that Danny Trejo and Steven Seagal despise one another in real life, since Danny Trejo stands with Ukraine (and NGL, would be one of the best non-Ukrainians to portray a Zaporizhian Cossack) while Steven Seagal became one of Putin's lapdogs.
Awesome review. Finally 2010s area of seagal movies. All moves in this period are truly terrible. Thank you for your sacrifice watching them so we don't have to.
I have to agree with you on the amount of sacrifice this man has gone through so we don't have to . But have to say , holy crap did SEAGULL , do a ton of movies. All crappy BTW . Ashamed to say liked Marked for Death and a couple others when I was a kid .
All I wanted was to see Seagal in an Expendables film as a villain. At least they're proper films (compared to what he does now). Machete is as close as we got
Yeah, don't think he would've cast him as a main villain in his film if it was a surreptitious way of mocking him, bud. Chances are he's either a friend or fan of Seagal.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate all the support and am so happy to have found other people who love the bizarre and terrible movies of the world. :)
Attorneys really do advise that you never consent to a search, even if you have nothing to hide.. Apparently many police arrest innocent people all the time. In fact, if they ask to search your car, they already want to arrest you. Otherwise they'd just give you your ticket and let you go. You are supposed to follow legal instructions-- but searching your car is only legal under three scenarios : A) you give consent B) they have probable cause or a warrant C) you are under arrest, this is called an incident to arrest search The fourth amendment and the supreme court both protect you from being searched in your person or effects without due process. The reason people in those videos often get arrested is because they go way too far and disobey legal orders.
Machete is awesome, no question. Saw it in the theatre and was staggering to see Steven on the big screen with a decent cast. And he was a great villain. Born to Raise Hell has the dubbing, the doubles and awful orange filters, but it’s watchable, more so than much of what followed. Watch out for the money in the cash counter during the opening titles where you can clearly see “specimen” across the bills!
Woah woah, hold up playa. You tellin me there’s a scene in machete where a naked lady does something hot with a cell phone that will haunt a person’s dreams ??? Sheeet dawg, that’s all you had to say to motivate me to watch machete. Next stop is blockbuster video.
Steven Seagal accent is awful but I liked it for some reason. "No one can kill Seagal but Seagal" is exactly what I said. That Machete. I wish you made that Steven Seagal movie. At this point I bet you can make 3 of them.
Thanks. I almost get the vibe that Seagal's ADR replacements are purposely goofing around. You'd think they could at least retain a guy who can imitate him, and pay him by the word or something. Also, I love the old chess story about two novices playing each other. A grandmaster is walking around the room, looking at the various games, and giving occasional advice, praise, or criticism. But every time he walks by these two, he just shakes his head and moves on. Finally one of the two asks him, "Don't you have any advice or anything?" He says, "Well, I didn't have the heart to tell you this, but you both checkmated each other about 10 moves ago." Of course, you *_can_* beat someone in 4 moves. But only novices. tavi.
Foley artist, dude... foley ! ;) Another great set of reviews there :) And supports the Dracula theory, where we can see that here he is almost full Lugosi with the hair, and the film is correspondingly new levels of shite. Excellent work everybody.
It's funny that he has so much confidence in saying "Foleo Artist" that I, someone who has known the correct word and pronunciation and even has a love for the art of foley work for 25+ years went to comments to double check.
OK, the "Am I Being Detained, Am I Free To Go" reference almost made me fall off my chair. I too am a viewer of those type of TH-cam videos, which usually ends up being like a badly written program that goes into a never-ending loop.
Seagal needs to be the new batman in a very serious production where in the batman universe he is casted as the new batman and we all need to hype it up lmao. Like as serious as the dark knight.
Thank you so much Pablo :) It's been years since I have seen Code of Honor. But that and the next like 5 movies are....so "good" lol. I love Maximum Conviction. Stone Cold Steve Austin..amazing
9:30 no, you have to protect and excercise your rights so cops don't trample all over them. You don't have to follow directives unless you are lawfully detained and/or arrested.
You missed the missing part of Machete's very long machete, which is protruding from the back of Seagal when he was stabbed, yet in the next scene is missing? A very long machete suddenly becomes a butcher's knife. Is Seagal so lazy that he can't pretend to twist a longer prop piece in his imagination?

Oh yes! We are getting into the best Seagal movies. The real reason I started the series. Thank you so much for watching! So glad you enjoy the videos.
13:10 "Freeze!" I think that's the worst voice double they've had yet. What nationality police uniforms are those? I love the part where the body double and the voice double team up. Pretty soon he won't even have to leave the house to make a movie.
@@RedEyeReviews The voice double in The Foreigner where his character goes "I wasn't very nice, but again, one good turn deserves another" clearly doesn't sound like Seagal.
I could NEVER do what you do.. Watch all these movies like this. There should be a medal for sitting through all these so we don’t have to. A civilian service medal or something. 😂🥳
Wow, is machete the only movie that Seagal not only looked weak in but actually got killed? You can tell he definitely wasn't in charge of that one. 🤔😂🤣🤣
It’s called a foley artist, not a folio artist, and they typically only do the sound effects, not vocals. But we’ll let it slide this time, since it’s otherwise such a swell review.
Brilliant. I too love seeing 'accomodating stuntmen'. They later went on to throw themselves against walls in classics like 2019 Charlie's Angels (yes, I'm now comparing SS to a 120lb girl). Love these reviews!
Born to Raise Hell is an action classic. Easily the best thing Seagal did between Exit Wounds and now (not being sarcastic. I don't like pretty much anything else Seagal made in that time period.) I think a lot of people go into his movies wanting to hate them nowadays..
Um, some of us honestly hated everything the idiot ever made. Action movies were made for immature 12 year-old boys and for sane people to make fun of. There are no "good ones," and the truly awful ones only confirm that essential truth. Movies for morons.

I remember from a looooong time ago visiting somebody's house and seeing a Steven Segal DVD on a coffee table and thinking "who would waste money on a Steven Segal movie and watch it?" buy the movie? Meaning planing to watch it many times????
I love your videos. A question though why do you think Steven does a voice-over in a scene when he's already there and could speak the lines? Is he that lazy?
Take care of his funeral arrangements. I swear I thought the same thing as you said it 🤣 and did Seagull ( as I call him ) use that spray on hair for this movie. Good thing he never sweats in his completely fake fights .
“That was hot garbage” yeah that’s a pretty accurate description of your video. You are just so checked out and it shows. Maybe take a break or something.

I do so love the imaginary character dialog in all these reviews.
Haha. I go off into my own little world
I would love to see THE Steven Seagal order at ethnic restaurants...imagine the glorious accents!
Oh God. Like an old person thinking that the accent makes them understand you easier
@@RedEyeReviews it's his god given gift...the gift of gab!
Robert Rodriguez nailed so much Seagal's ego.
Born to raise hell. The measure of how bad a Seagal movie can be, it's how awsome the movie title is.
Yeah, don't think he would've cast him as a main villain in his film if it was a surreptitious way of mocking him, bud. Chances are he's either a friend or fan of Seagal.
Seagal basically plays himself in every single one of his movies.
And he plays villains well...
If you're having a baby or one week away from retirement in a bad cop movie you're gonna die.
