I did not want to deep into so many technical details which could cause confusion.
In a next video I would show some other tips and how to clean the gun sprayer.

Buenas yo utilizo mucho la pistola para dar adhesivo pero me cuesta mucho limpiarla , sabes que producto utilizas para limpiarla gracias
La acetona es un producto efectivo, tiene la propiedad de 'cuajar' el pegamento y de ese modo es mas fácil limpiar con un cepillo de cerda de nylon (no usar cepillo de metal porque puede dejar rayaduras). En el siguiente video daremos unas ideas de como limpiar una pistola con residuos de adhesivo.
is there an huge difference between spray gun or standard roler - in case of durability of that glue across time ?
The outcome would be the same by using two different ways of application. The main difference would be in the quality of glue we are using...just an opinion.
Puedo diluir el adhesivo con algun solvente??? Ppr ejemplo el 5mil??
Si se puede diluir el adhesivo con el mismo solvente que se utilizó para fabricarlo. Los expertos no recomiendan diluirlo por que es un poco difícil atinarle a las proporciones y puede perder sus propiedades de pegado. El resistol amarillo 5000 no viene muy espeso y se podría aplicar con la pistola. Ocuparía una boquilla grande como de 2.0 a 2.5 mm Ø y una compresora grande que tenga buena capacidad para almacenar el aire comprimido.

Hello, Cechaflo. Should the air compressor be in the same room when spraying the glue? I mean, is the adhesive flammable?
The application of glues should be done on a well ventilated area. Besides not forget the use of respirator mask and goggles. The 'solvent based glues' are flammable and should be kept in a fresh area on a special place not mixed with another flammables.
The air compressor should also be in an open area just in case.

Estimado amigo, Yo estoy localizado en Mexico, y por aquí se consiguen las boquillas en los lugares donde venden las compresoras y los equipos de pintar carros. En realidad las boquillas con abertura/orificio ancho (1.8 mm a 2.0 mm) que serían utilizados para aplicar el pegamento son las mismas que usan los pintores de carro para aplicar base/primer que son pinturas muy espesas. Un pintor de carros de su localidad podría orientarle donde conseguirlos.
Ebay, amazon, etc. también venden los set de boquillas que debe ser compatible con la marca de pistola.

Estimado amigo, ¡me da mucho gusto que esté también en nuestro México! Es importante también una buena compresora de buena capacidad. La que muestro en el video es muy pequeña y la uso para poner grapas. La pistola para aplicar el pegamento es la de succión y es la que lleva el depósito en la parte inferior. En el min 4:44 del video se muestra el modelo. Además están los tanquesitos min 4:54 que son mucho mas efectivos para mayor rapidéz en la producción.

Thanks for your videos. I would like to ask a few questions. I prefer latex water based glue for leather haberdashery. Could you give advice on buying equipment to spray it? This glue is less viscous than the one that you use. What nozzle diameter, compressor power (oil or not), volume of compressor tank and so on would be optimal?The equipment should not be large and expensive, since production is still very small. I plan to apply the glue occasionally during 10-15 minutes a day. Perhaps less. Greetings from Russia!
I only could give you some ideas. I cannot recommed trade marks in Russia, sorry.
Specialists recommend the ideal 'spraying gun' to apply adhesive could be a 'suction feed gun' with a fluid tip from 1.7 mm to 2.0 mm. As you said, you woudl work with a low dense water based adhesive the gun would work much better.
The compressor should store a good amount of compressed air to let a continuous flow of air. Please, watch min 12:30 of the video where the picture shows a vertical compressor (it could be horizontal) 100 liters as a minimum capacity, oil lubrication.
I think you should do an effort to get a good compressor one time because you could increase your production.
It would be advisable to talk with the supplier to know much better about the good one according to the purpose.

Keep in mind that other latex glue is also sold, with a solvent. It smells. If you find a water based latex glue, apply it with a spatula or "antistatic" brushes with plastic bristles. After use, you can very easily wash this brush by warm water.

Hola. Una pregunta que marca es su pistola para el pegamento
La marca es 'Leon' y la fabrican en Monterrey,Nuevo Leon. No olvidar que para aplicar pegamento se debe usar una boquilla de 2.0 a 2.5 mm. Se me hizo un poco difícil conseguir la boquilla 2.0
Le recomendaría busque otra marca que tenga la boquilla original de la medida indicada y como indico en la descripción del video es mejor una pistola de succión/sifón para este propósito. Obvio las de gravedad también sirven, pero la ideal es la de succión para trabajo continuo.

Cechaflo así es , ya viene diluido para aplicar con pistola, pero ahora que vi este vídeo cambie la boquilla de 1,7 mm por la de de 2,0 y tuve mejores resultados al aplicarlo. Gracias maestro por compartir sus conocimientos.
Que bien Avid, me da mucho gusto que haya mejorado su pistola de aplicar pegamento con la boquilla 2.0
Como menciono en el video, los expertos recomiendan hasta una boquilla de 2.5 como máximo para facilitar el 'espreado' y que sea una pistola de succión porque tiene mas fuerza para aventar el pegamento. Yo creo que tienen razón ya que el pegamento saldría con mas facilidad por esa boquilla y la máquina compresora se esforzaría menos.

I have never used it, but I think so, if it is fluid like spraying glue. Do a test beforehand.

Yes, it is a standard size 3/8" that comes with the small compressor.

To spray glue I would recommend a bigger one. I only used this small compressor for the video demonstration. I will buy a bigger one.

@@UFOENGINE No, it is not necessary any separator. The special fluid glue is directly applied over both surfaces you want to stick together. After application, wait a few minutes (10 to 15 min) until it is dry and start glueing process.
