I discovered Aurora some years ago and fell in love, although i am a rock guy. I have so much fun seeing reactors discovering her, too. You are one, who is doing a great "job". Have fun on your journey.
Yes! You did it! Love this exact performance. Its perfection. Ive been a black/doom/death metal guy since the 80s but this just gets me every time. Thank you.
I first found her in 2016 seeing her perform on Fallon doing Conqueror. I was totally won over and new I was witnessing an artist that will end up being considered one of the greatest of all time.
Very nice reaction as always Saeed🥰 Love this performance😍😍 In the studio version Pomme “only” sings the part in French. They didn’t actually meet until after the album release❤️ Interviewed by Bedroomdisco, Aurora said: "I wrote it a long time ago, quite early in the process and I already knew with that song that it was a part of the vibration that I wanted the album to be. To me it's about - which is an important keyword for me, because it can be about something different for everyone -, but it's about two things. If you listen very carefully, it's a beautiful and a sad story. There's something ominous about it too. But also something extremely beautiful. It's about these people, the you and them me in the song, and they are going through something which forces them to think about life differently and they look at each other and they look around themselves and they just grasp that time is slipping out of their fingers too quickly. I look at everything and am imagining in the end of the song they drive this car out to a sunset and they watch one very last sunset together and... there's a fear that you miss out on all the beautiful things. There is so much beauty in this world, the small things as well." Explaining to Apple Music, Aurora said: "I don't normally do features. I knew a bit about Pomme because she's extremely sweet and very talented. I wanted to include some Frenchness on the opening song as a gift to the castle that gave me a lot of the inspiration to finish this album. I asked her if she could write the ending of my song in French, and she wrote a beautiful story about the flowers we picked in all of your favourite places. It is an ode to Baroniet (the barony) Rosendal (Norway).”
Probably my favorite track from Aurora's "The Gods We Can Touch" album, and this is my favorite version. And I"m grateful it introduced me to Pomme, because she's such a great artist in her own right. Even though most of her stuff is in French (which I don't speak), I still really enjoy her music and live performances. One of my favorite non-Saeed reactions is from popular vocal coach and reactor Julia Nilon. She absolutely fangirled over this performance, and that's not something she's known for.
@@Dave-hb7lx It was actually bigger than you hear in the original. A live version from Japan shows how it really should be. th-cam.com/video/0rAm41owcps/w-d-xo.html
Great song! First time I listened to it when it has been recommended in your Pomme "Les Oiseaux" ' reaction. Amazing duet indeed to these two angelic voices I'd suggest you to react also Pomme song (if you love her style) "Soleil soleil" Great reaction as always Saeed, thank you !
Thanks for trying :) The writing of this particular rapper is on another level. It is incredibly hard to try to decipher this on first listen. Mission impossible :) Have a great day, Debbie!
Yes, Aurora song writing is pretty impressive, and she really performed some acrobatic notes, they do sound beautiful together, Pomme wrote the French verse. Thanks.
Pause. At three thirty. Your analysis is spot on, or at least along the same lines as mine. IIRC the deity in this song is Atlas, who carried the weight of the world on their shoulders. Here, Atlas could represent a creative but troubled individual, a genius of their art, maybe coming home from a publishing party of their work where Atlas had a few too many to drink and Aurora (who IRL does not drive a car as far as I know) would be the chauffeur, musing over her thoughts. Just my interpretation. Love it! Edit: I wrote the above before the kidnapping part which made me totally crack up. Thanks a lot!

Awesome they got together in the end of this performance. Beautiful song.
I'd heard about this, but until just now, I hadn't heard it. It's so beautiful! Thank-you! You have the best reactions.

Beautiful song and the performance is flawless! Pure!
I must watch that reaction some time. I can learn a lot from a vocal coach!
Aurora can sing anything and with anyone.
She recently collaborated with a heavy metal band.😊

Great reaction again Saeed! This is Aurora's song but she invited Pomme to write the last verse. I love this one too!
