Thank you so much for your kind words! 🙏🇺🇦 Carpetman truly is one of a kind and reacting to Feel So Cold was such an incredible experience! 🎭❄️ His sound and artistry are absolutely captivating. I would love to explore more of his music, any specific songs you’d recommend? Let me know! ❤✨
@TrippyAnkit I don't know how he did it, but absolutely all of his songs are top notch. Listen to "What does it mean to you", "Make it lower", "Live without a system", "My honey", "You will never know it". Thank you for your feedback ❤️
Haha, right. I am still trying to figure out how he does it too! 😄 Thanks for the awesome track recommendations - I will be diving into those soon! Stay tuned for more reactions! 🙌
What an outstanding, thorough review. You said it perfectly…smooth but gritty. Audio and visual appeal. Blend of multiple genres. This was the first song I ever heard of his and I’ve been hooked since. Please do more of his songs. He has 11 total but the ones that are tops for me aside from this one are “What Does It Mean To You”, “Anyway, I Love It”, and his latest which really turns up the heat, “Make It Lower”. 🔥 He’s a master of the performing arts in my opinion. Thank you for featuring him. 👏🏻❤️
Thank you so much for such an amazing comment! 🙏❤️ It was great to hear from someone who’s been hooked on Carpetman’s music for a while. You’re spot on, he really has this smooth yet gritty vibe that just pulls you in, and his ability to blend genres is next level! “Feel So Cold" is a masterpiece, but now I am even more curious about the other tracks you mentioned. I’ll definitely be adding them to my list for future reactions! 🔥 Thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts and recommendations. It’s comments like these that make creating videos so rewarding! Stay tuned, more Carpetman content is definitely coming soon. 🙌
Enjoyed the reaction! I hope you do more of his songs. I've read that the Killim/kylym carpets are a cultural beauty in Ukraine just as much as the painted eggs. Apparently there was also a music video by Kalush that was animated. The plot in the video is showing corrupt people of higher stature killing a servant in cold blood for amusement while they eat. The main three characters in the cartoon were members of Kalush Orchestra. They could no longer tolerate the injustice so they went to confront the corrupt wealth and succeeded, but sadly during the fight one of the 3 had been shot. They took him to an old wise Shaman-Woman. She brought out cards of divination and three cards would show how to bring their friends soul closure. The cards were Carpet, Mountain, and...lightning (I think). So they wrapped him in Carpet, brought him up the mountain and began to mourne him. However to their surprise, theirs friend came back with a strike of lightening. He was now also the Carpet and filled with a new sense of compassion and meaning. The first Carpet Character seemed to be a taller man with thicker build, but as different members have fluctuated from the band, there have been other persons ( I think only 2 or 3?) who have worn carpet body-suits because fans have been enamored with the character as a representation of culture and justice and spirit. This particular person branched out independently from Kalush, but continues to stay in Character as Kylymmen... aka Carpetman. This particular person has all his own musical talents although i do like to wonder if maybe the flute samples are played by Kalush Orchestra flite player maybe? Otherwise, he's got a much more soulful depth in his music than the type of music Kalush would do. Kalush Orchestra seems to have many songs about revolution and unity and love for their country.... Carpetman however seems to be struggling with an individual journey rather than a political or societal journey, so his music feels like it is more soulful and intimate. He's sharing his feelings as a person rather than just being a stage character.
Thank you so much for this incredible insight and for sharing such a rich background about Carpetman and his connection to Ukrainian culture! 🙏🇺🇦 It’s fascinating to hear about the cultural significance of the Killim/Kylym carpets and how they tie into Carpetman’s artistry and symbolism. The story you shared about the animated Kalush video, the Carpet character, and its evolution into a deeper, personal journey is absolutely captivating. It adds so much depth to understanding the meaning behind his music and persona. 🎭 I completely agree, Carpetman’s music feels deeply personal and soulful, almost like he is inviting us into his inner world. It’s amazing how he has carved out his own unique path while staying connected to such a powerful cultural and symbolic legacy. I did try looking for the animated Kalush video you mentioned, but I couldn’t find anything online. It sounds like such a powerful and meaningful story. If you have any links or tips on where I can watch it, I’d love to check it out! If you have any other recommendations for Carpetman songs (or even Kalush tracks), I would love to explore them and learn more! Thank you again for taking the time to share this, it truly enriches my experience as a listener and reactor! ❤🎶 Thanks Again.
