Hello, I’m a native American and have a little correction about the Native American Church. The NAC is fundamentally a christian practice, each tribe has their own practice and altar style within this but it’s Christian nonetheless. There is a bible placed on most altars and they pray and sing to god and Jesus Christ. The biggest difference with this church beyond the small ceremonial differences that vary from tribe to tribe is that Peyote (small, spineless cactus that contains a hallucinogenic compound called mescaline) is viewed and used as a holy sacrament. My tribe has two denominations of NAC: Half Moon and Cross Fire. Half Moon is more traditional and Cross Fire is more bible driven but both are still Christian. My tribe also retains our old traditions and beliefs as well but I just had to put in a tidbit about the NAC. Thanks and I enjoyed the video ❤️
@ElijahPerry-r8e I know where I’m from we have our own church building and location for services and ceremonies but some tribes do not have a said building. Instead the ceremonies will be performed in a tipi or a home of whoever is putting up the ceremony, and you generally have to be invited if you are not a practicing member or an outsider. Meetings are generally for general prayer service, healing for someone who is sick, and celebrations as well so they are almost always just close family and friends so you will need to ask around and ask if it is okay if you can go and sit in the meeting. And the meetings take place overnight and they sing and pray all night until the morning, and if you go in you are expected to sit and be reverent. No sleeping, getting up constantly or using the bathroom a lot. It’s not like a regular “Christian” service and is not some tourist attraction, it is a ceremony and is to be respected. Hope this helps ☺️

Because praying to a physical object or an image is, by definition, idolatry. The Pope kissing a representation of his god is idolatry. Only Abrahamic faiths find this wrong, to my knowledge.

This video does an amazing job at providing a quick overview of various religions, showcasing the rich diversity of human belief and spirituality. Im 34 years old, raised on Christian values (Lutheran, specifically), but never been a church-goer. I've always wanted to read the bible. I've made attempts in the past, but I have never made it all the way through. I'm at another point in life where I am giving the bible a shot, but 3/4 of the way through Genesis, I have come to the realization that I struggle with Christianity. I want to find what religion I am in line with the most as I do believe in a higher power, whether that is a god/deity/spirituality/or just the universe working miraculous wonders. I've always felt amazing connections with nature, animals, and especially the universe. What I find super interesting watching this video is that I might be best connected and in line with the Native American Spirituality. Why it is interesting to me is because, for one, I have never explored that side of religion and two, most of my ethnical background is Native American. I think it's about time I take a deeper look into my roots and find a solid connection. Thanks for the video! P.S. Discussion and advice is much welcome. Leave me a comment.
You explained Christianity and it's branches pretty well, as a Catholic though, i have to say that we do not worship idols. We venerate statues pictures of the saints and Jesus, and give true Love to the Trinity (The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost)
It sad seeing a lot of people who are lost, because we humans we are built to worship the only one God he is the one who created the universe. Ayah at-Tur (The Mount, The Mountain) 52:35. Or were they created by nothing, or are they ˹their own˺ creators? Or were they created out of nothing? Or are they the creators

@@paldennorbu8incorrect. It’s an objective truth that “Roman Catholic” is just one part of the Catholic Church. 3:05 why are you using a picture of baby Jesus as an example of idol worship?
One of the main parts of Christianity is that idol worship is bad and false and a temptation from faith
Because praying to a physical object or an image is, by definition, idolatry. The Pope kissing a representation of his god is idolatry. Only Abrahamic faiths find this wrong, to my knowledge.
@@TheQuranIsTheWay 1. Christianity is an abrahamic religion
2. You proved yourself wrong when u said “representation” which means people arnt worshiping the statue but are worshiping the god. It’s just a visual representation of the god.
3. Not every Christian is catholic, so the pope wouldn’t really represent them
@@TheQuranIsTheWaythe Pope is not “praying to a physical object” and is not worshiping an idol by showing the image of Christ reverence.

Wow, that was actually a nice request as oppose to the other asshats that stomped around, handing out warnings like they're somebody's boss. I told them they could stuff it because you don't control what other people outside of your religion do. That's the end right there for me. You try to command someone outside your circle, you become the bad guy. But that was sweetly done.

This video does an amazing job at providing a quick overview of various religions, showcasing the rich diversity of human belief and spirituality. As someone versed in the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, I find that exploring these different paths can deepen our own understanding of spirituality. However, each religion may have subtle intricacies and timeless wisdom that cannot be fully captured in a short video. Have you ever felt a particular teaching from another religion resonate with you on a personal level? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

2:13 there was nothing like caste system, it was Varna system .
someone missed their history lessons. Hinduism (coming from a member of a fellow Hindu family) has always had a caste system, as a social hierarchy.

That is still considered idol worship. No wonder Protestants consider you Catholics as heretics and bigots.
It sad seeing a lot of people who are lost, because we humans we are built to worship the only one God he is the one who created the universe. Ayah at-Tur (The Mount, The Mountain) 52:35. Small correction. As a Roman Catholic myself. There is no "Roman Catholic Church" There is simply a "Catholic church" Roman Catholic is a Rite of the one true Catholic and Apostalic church.
Subjectively, depends on who you ask, so therefore no need to correct this guy
@@paldennorbu8incorrect. It’s an objective truth that “Roman Catholic” is just one part of the Catholic Church. There are 24 sui juris churches in the Catholic Church. “Roman Catholic” only refers to one rite (the Roman Rite) within one of these twenty-four churches (the Latin Church).
Using “Roman Catholic” as a catch-all for all Catholics is a misnomer, because it ignores other Catholics like those of the Byzantine Rite, the Mozarabic Rite, the West Syriac Rite, the Dominican Rite, etc.

Both Islam and Christianity are false. Bible, Psalm 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun 🌞
Quran says "Alif Lam Ra". Ra is the Ancient Egyptian Sun God.
The English word for "God" comes from the Hebrew word Elohim which means gods. The "gods" that the ancient people worshipped in the beginning were the stars. So the Bible's Genesis 1:1 should have been written as "In the beginning the stars created the heaven and the earth".
Remember, our Sun is a star ⭐
The word "Angel" means Messenger in Hebrew, it is referring to star/s. A star/s gives us messages. They are our Messengers. Like when to plant seeds and when to harvest etc. Stars move across the sky as if they had wings. That's why we see statues of Angels with wings. They are really statue about stars with wings. "Fallen Angels are just "fallen stars" 🌠
Bible Malachi 4:2 Sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays.
