In a fantasy game I'm designing (which borrows from occultism), I use the unicursal hexagram as part of logo. My magic system is built around the planets of old astrology (I call them the 7 arcana). In summary, Sol is ideals and magic of light. Luna is mystery and magic of spirits. Mars is warfare and magic for conflict. Mercury is mind and magic for psychic abilities. Jupiter is Sovereignty and magic to fight magic. Venus is nature and natural magic. And Saturn is death and necromancy.
@@BrofessorStein Yep. It's meant to act as an alternative to both Yugioh and Magic, but draws inspiration from each. One of which being that I incorperate ideas from the color pie. Except that red and blue are split between arcana, while Sol, Venus, and Saturn are essentially White, Green, and Black. Precons will each incorporate 3 of the seven arcana, and will be based around a different faction. Factions will be built around basic fantasy races that we see in different mythologies. Human factions will be built around common themes like magic, religion, and technology. I'm also considering one that's meant to parody woke ideologies, but I think by the time I get there, wokeness will be irrelevant.
I love how you've woven together occult symbols and astrological concepts - that's a cool way to add depth to your world. Your take on the planetary influences is pretty interesting. I'm curious, did you consider any alternative associations for the planets? Like, maybe Jupiter could be about expansion or wisdom instead of sovereignty? Just a thought! Also, gotta say, using the unicursal hexagram as a logo is a nice touch. Crowley would probably give you a thumbs up for that one!
@@OddOwl1 Expansion is hard to translate into a fantasy world. However, the nature of the arcana of Jupiter is focused on discipline; to direct one's own energy into a path, and to keep it from going wayward. Sovriegnty, in this case, means to assert one's own will onto both oneself and the world around you. Just as if you are a king. Think of it like harnessing lightning, then directing it through a current. When you direct something, you block it from any direction but one, then you push it in that direction. That's what it means to align with the arcana of Jupiter. The magic of Jupiter controls electricity, conjures portals, and counters opposing magic.
What a detailed explanation and the connections drawn between these symbols and their interpretations in different traditions. However, it would be helpful to address the potential for misunderstanding these symbols, particularly when they are associated with darker or more controversial aspects of occultism. As for the Sigil of Lucifer, its origins and the contrast between Christian and Luciferian interpretations is intriguing and it would be even more fascinating to see how the symbol has been reinterpreted to represent personal growth and enlightenment rather than evil. I think, the video could have benefited from exploring the historical context of the 18th-century grimoires that popularized this symbol.
Ok, the black sun is originally and primarily an alchemical symbol. Duality is a key feature. There is the sun of light and the dark sun. The black sun is the omnipotent foundation before all things, including light. Yes, Heinrich Himmler adapted the symbol for his organization because he was a novice occultist. By the way, occult is not a negative idea. If you think of existence as duality, everything makes perfect sense. Norse paganism used the symbol of the solar wheel often because it derived from alchemy and it's use for the cyclical nature. The black sun is a very old symbol.
@@BrofessorStein In addition, the runes of the solar wheel are Nordic and called sowilo. They represent the sun. There are 12 of them that represent the 12 ages of the zodiac. It's cyclical.

You trip so hard that you don’t even realize you took Datura. You forget, because your memories are imaginary. On Datura, you can have conversations with friends you knew from high school. You might sit there for two hours having a conversation with this good friend of yours, only to realize later that you never knew this person, and they were never in your room. You were just talking to the wall, hallucinating an entire human being with whom you believed you had an intelligent conversation. Now, people might say, "Oh, that’s crazy, that’s pretty far out there." But all that shows is hallucinations, right? No, you misunderstand. I am that hallucination. Right now, you are hallucinating my entire body and voice. I am just your mind talking to you. You’re hallucinating me right now. You hallucinated all my videos. There's definitely more history to the Black Sun. There's a theory that it dates back long before the Celts. It's believed it may have represented some kind of cataclysm, that blotted out the sun. There's a lot more to the story. More than I care to type out into a TH-cam comment anyway.
The heptagram is also an alchemist symbol for the seven elements some alchemists believed are what every thing is made of. 4 of them are classics: Fire, Water, Air and Earth. The three others are sulphur and mercury (which are chemical elements) as well as salt.
I was a little disappointed that the Eye of Ra wasn't covered. I was hoping it would follow the Eye of Horus, since I don't know much about it other than being the right eye, to Horus' left eye (assuming the god is looking at you), and has some notable differences, other than just being an inversion.
13:14 You made a little mistake here, it's not Seth on the left side of the screen, but Thot, the ibis God. He's the god of the moon, reckoning, learning, and writing. Seth is the jackal God of the desert, foreign lands, thunderstorms, eclipses, and earthquakes. Seth was seen as a mischievous god like Loki, but in reality he was a necessary "wrong" as the world need a balance between light and darkness, like Satan who's seen as an evil entity but in reality he's just here to point out human sins, not *making* them sin. I loved your video btw! Very well explained and concise.
Satan works for Yahweh and Yahweh makes evil serve good. To where each evil and wrong multiplies the good and right. And just like Solomon made the demons construct Yahweh's physical temple, the demons will also help build Yahweh's spiritual temple!
The heptagram, a seven-pointed star, isn’t traditionally associated with Islam in the same way symbols like the crescent or the star are. In Islamic geometry and art, various shapes and stars often represent the infinite nature of Allah, but specific symbols like the heptagram don’t hold a particular or widely recognized religious significance. At the same time it’s fascinating how symbols can have different meanings across cultures and religions, and exploring these can deepen our understanding. If there’s a specific context you’ve encountered, it would be interesting to discuss further.
For any neophyte practioners that might read this. These don't work in summoning rituals. Think of the sigil like circuit boards that channel emotional energy to achieve a desired effect. You'll need to alter them.

Also, of each thing ask what it is in itself. And make sure you know exactly what you're getting yourself into. Greed hoards Gluttony consumes Envy covets Lust experiences Wrath remembers And pride knows it deserves more. Lastly, I'll leave you with this advice. Nothing is free. Expect to pay a price for what you want. Depending on what you want, it'll be more, or it'll be less. But in order for a sacrifice to make it a proper sacrifice, it must have value. And it's loss must cause pain. (Edit) sorry, I missed the part where you said you weren't gonna try it. Probably for the best, these are primal things. Way more overkill than anything you would need to bargain with for petty things.
@ExplainersEnigma meh, I'm actually being a bit dramatic. It's actually pretty mundane. It's not too much different from how the device you're reading this comment on works. The trade can be something like a stuffed animal you had as a child, or a cut on your hand and a few drops of blood. And the effects you can achieve are relatively inconsequential as well. Like a few weeks ago, I invoked mammon because I needed a job(massive overkill for newbs, but I knew what I was doing.) And now a weird old man keeps trying to sleep with me. So the price I paid was mild annoyance for a set period of time.
As a magick practitioner but not a wiccan or witch, i use Crowleys Hexagram as my symbol for universal energy in place of a pentacle, pentagram, or cross.
Fairly good video overall, however, you mentioned the “Seal of Solomon” but failed to mention the “Secret Seal of Solomon” which is very different and more significant in the occult world. It was supposedly created by King Solomon when he sealed the 72 Goetic demons into a brass vessel and threw them into a lake in Babylon.
Also known as a *_"Satyr",_* though I'm not sure if Pan is ever referred to by such a term in ancient depictions. Was Pan canonically a full-fledged god or even a demigod, though? I'd always heard of Pan as actually being an emissary of nature, acting as representative for other hybrids (like minotaurs, centaurs, Scyllæ, sirens, hippogriff, chimera, manticore, etc.), but I'd also heard they specifically represented the Fae (though, I've no clue how much of this was from later bastardizations serving other mythos.) However, all iterations of Pan that I've encountered have held them having the same Non-Binary/androgynous nature, as Baphomet was described here.

13:06 The Eye of Horus, once was known as the "Eye of Terra" symbolizes the Emperor of Mankind's watchful dominion over his realm. Then, Warmaster Horus Lupercal of the XVIth Legion Luna Wolves, renamed later to the Sons of Horus adapted the symbol for himself as allowed by the Emperor for his noble actions in the Great Crusade following the victory at Ullanor. However, due to the fall of Horus from grace after succumbing to the daemon Erebus, the Eye of Horus was unfortunately associated as the symbol for heretics and later used by Abaddon and the forces of Chaos along with the Star of Chaos as their sigil as homage to their founding Primarch.
The "black sun" is based on the germanic "Zierscheiben" and it represents the old tradition of the zodiac and it's twelve symbols surrounding the Sun that represents God, linking it to the tradition of the Knights of the Round Table, being Merlin the number 13 like the Sun in the center.
Fun fact, Satan and Lucifer aren't the same fallen one. And the ancient Norse would likely recognize an ouroboras as the "world serpent" or jörmungandr.
While Lucifer represents Venus, the Morningstar/Lightbringer, the first Light that rises before the Sun/Ego after the darkness, Satan is the Opposer, the Adversary in all ways. He refuses to be one sole thing, his essence is too big for that. So, he refuses to be only Darkness and ends up embodying the Lucifer. Or, he refuses the Ego's thinking and Light, so he engulfes it in Darkness. He is also the adversary of lies
@@destroyer1zc it would be helpful if you elaborate some on the difference between "embodying the light" vs "engulfing it in darkness" The difference between gnosis and possession?
Satan in fact is a term used for adversary. So their are multiple Satans in stories that act as an antagonist (i.e. The Satan in Book of Job) to many holy figures. Satan is only thought to be Lucifer simply by the fact that he is THE Primary Satan to god who regularly antagonizes him. While the Satan in The Book of Job is an Angel ordered to be Job's Satan sent from god to test his faith ad that Satan questioned god on Job's Faith. This is why Satanism is more about Pagan beleifs, Athiestic discussion, and a rejection of Church influence on society. These ideas are the Satan to what is Organized Abrahamic religions... But most self proclaimed Satanists on social media are just contrarians and hedonists wanting an excuse to be degenerate.
@@that1guyFred From my limited understanding of it; Satan is the antithesis of everything. Its the void. Its emptiness. Lucifer, aka The Morning Star, is the lightbringer who violated God's plan and was cast from Heaven for it.

The pentagram is a Jewish religious symbol of Jerusalem and a talisman to ward off evil. The sect found in Judaism using the pentagram were known as Magi, and the symbol is the bases of the commonly known "Sheriff badge" and legal standing for policing. From religion, law arouse.
Wiccan, although established, at that time was not an organized religion and the association with the pentagram and "witches" were established several hundred years after Christ was murdered by the Church of Judia with the help of ruling Roman authorities. It was even contemplated to use the pentagram instead of the cross for Christianity due to the connection to Jerusalem and protection, but Constantine used to be a pagan and he decided to use a new symbol when he rewrote the Bible and made it the ruling religion.
Egyptology student here: The Ankh is not a key, it has never symbolised a key. It is likely a depiction of a sandal loop. Im unsure where the ideas of the loop symbolising the sun and the horizontal line symbolising the horizon comes from. Also, virtually all major gods from ancient Egypt were shown holding the ankh and presenting it to the Pharaoh.
Yeah, sure, you are anything other than a student. Maybe more of a indoctrinated follower who regurgitates his recent forced feeding. Indeed your claim of sandal is a POV of the symbol ... of which there are many interpretations. Here I copy/paste some words for your eyes to witness but not understand. The ankh was also an Egyptian hieroglyphic symbol that read "life" or "breath of life" (`nh = ankh). In the early 20th century, Egyptologists Battiscombe Gunn and Alan Gardiner also believed that the ankh's three consonants could be used to write the words for "mirror", "floral bouquet", and a looped rope-like object found in coffins. In some of the ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics, the king was depicted as being fed with small ankhs in a way that could be interpreted as “breathing life into the king”. That said, some hieroglyphs present the king and two gods washing him with a stream of small ankhs. In this context, the ankh symbol represents the purifying power of water, although some experts suggest that the king in the inscription is washed to regenerate his life. This story was a turning point, because, from this moment on, the ankh began to be seen, as an amulet, as a key that supposed that the dead could open the door to the afterlife and was associated with the pharaohs, considered practically divinities at the time. Moreover, with the arrival of Christianity in Egypt, in the second century after Christ, the Copts adopted the cross as the symbol, a variant of the cross, which we all know today. Although initially, only the Pharaohs could wear it, in the New Empire its use was allowed to the entire population of the country.
Hi! What does it mean when an Ankh is ceremonially given/passed to a state head? A couple of years ago Russia received an Ankh in a lavish Pharaohnic ceremony.
@ethanstrong thats what it seems to be. In hieroglyphs there's a thing called an "ideographic stroke" which can sometimes accompany a sign. This single vertical line changes the sign from being phonetic to ideographic, meaning that it becomes the word for what the sign represents. When the ankh symbol has the ideographic stroke, it typically refers to sandals. The reason why the symbol became linked to "life" is because the word for sandal and the word for life were the same (or at least close enough) and so the sign was used phonetically and just became standard.
@futureinventor the depictions of gods giving pharaohs the Ankh symbol (usually holding it up to the pharaoh's lips) is to symbolise the gods giving the pharaoh life. The idea was that the pharaoh would perform his tasks, benefit Egypt, and keep Maat in order, pleasing the gods. The gods, in return, would be favourable to Egypt & provide the king with a long healthy life. I don't know about the Russian ceremony, however.

The Qabalah, with its rich mystical tradition, is central to many occult practices, and the Trapezoid Runa carries its own esoteric significance.
@@azazelgrigori9244 that sounds cool af, is it a card game?
@@azazelgrigori9244 sounds cool good luck with your game!
I like how you talk from an objective standpoint and don’t take a particular side.
Also pentacle/pentagram used to be a symbol of sumerian (akkadian) mythology and its goddess Ishtar
Yes, Innana (Ishtar in Babylonian) is the Goddess of love and war. She is the Eastern star.
Thanks for your feedback, however this format doesn't really allow for much info besides explanations due to time restriction.

You will note that the Nazi hakkenkreuz is up on one point while the Indian svastika is sitting down on the flat. It is important to make this distinction between those two symbols; they are not the same thing. The Nazi hakkenkreuz (hooked cross) is shown as "active" in terms of symbolism, the Indian symbol is "at rest" and denotes a benediction. Yes even the positioning of a symbol has significance. There's definitely more history to the Black Sun. There's a theory that it dates back long before the Celts. It's believed it may have represented some kind of cataclysm, that blotted out the sun. There's a lot more to the story. More than I care to type out into a TH-cam comment anyway.

Man that sounds creepy. Stay away from this stuff.

Bahomet is developed from the Greek god Pan, who was a hybrid of man and a male goat.

@@destroyer1zc it would be helpful if you elaborate some on the difference between "embodying the light" vs "engulfing it in darkness"
The difference between gnosis and possession?
Egyptology student here:
The Ankh is not a key, it has never symbolised a key.
Although initially, only the Pharaohs could wear it, in the New Empire its use was allowed to the entire population of the country.
a sandal loop. lmfao.

Wearing the sigil of Lucifer as a form of protection gave a good chuckle lol
Because Luciferianism is just as valid as your religion?
@@zacmayes2802 Enjoy your travels in muslim countries.
@@zacmayes2802 Donning a symbol that represents the primordial force of evil for protection is funny to me. What exactly are you trying to protect yourself from then? Good fortune? LMAO
@@zacmayes2802valid in its existence, sure. It exists. However if you’re going to worship a legitimate demon and aren’t even tricked into thinking he’s your creator then you are just ignorant. You’re told exactly what happens when you stray from your real creator, Lucifer can’t save you.

The Icelandic Staves one I see frequently. But some call it the "Helm of Aegir." What's the variant you're showing where 3 of the lines aren't connected?
notice that the sigil of Lucifer logo has a masonic symbol on the bottom. makes sense. also the nazis stole the swastika it was and still is a meaning of luck, peace, and love
They used it as a goodluck charm, as it was used. Not stolen, but used. These days it is still a symbol of good fortune. Mostly every european country knows this symbol. Tho the “star of david” is a stolen symbol in a way too. Because it is a symbol of harmony, of male and female, and is a fertility symbol. And is well known in european history and still is a symbol made. But it’s how people interpret it. The swastika was also used on finnish fighter planes. It’s also used by coca cola, and was on greeting cards. The word “stolen” is used disingenuously, because people have been conditioned with post war propaganda. The world is older than 80 years, and some symbology is universal, as it is symbology of what’s around the world. The black sun is also very old, and has a connection to vitamin D. It’s pretty cool.
How the hell using the symbol that represents Luck, peace and love, is stealing?? They wanted to have luck and stuff for their army so they threw the symbol on.. 💀💀☠️

Leviathan Cross is not Satans Cross
wrong
Dude. The leviathan is literally described to be what we would call a dragon.
Satan is referred to as that great dragon that was cast down from heaven.
Read your bible again dude. You're in need of knowledge.
Symbolika jest wszędzie, zobaczcie na logo Google Chrome (kryje w sobie trzy szóstki) oraz na np. Logo gier Google play, które jest podobne do pierwszego przedstawionego na filmie.
I have most of these on my altar. Hail chaos! Hail Freedom! Hail to the self!
The Sigil of Lilith is the reuse of the Saturn planets / Kronos gods / Lead elements alchemic symbol, the question is why? How Kronos and Lilith connected? or the lead? ♄ you can find in unicode as well.
Swastika or, su asti ka, means, something that brings you luck and success.
The Pentagram is supposed to be able to conjure up Evil or Good Spirits... What else did you forget to mention...???
What do you mean?
An object or symbol cannot hold something which has not been given meaning you would have to deliberately or intentionally put energy in to said object or symbol to create a manifestation of said energy which takes time and energy itself which most amateurs would not know how to do.....
the sigil of lucifer also looks the same as the light of the sun hitting the earth during a lunar eclipse
The pentagram isn’t actually a symbol of Lucifer or any satanic themes, it’s more of how one uses the symbol. For example: is a knife bad?
True
bogus analogy. a knife is not a symbol. it is what it is. a pentagram does symbolize a thing. it is not neutral.
@@charlesheck6812symbols and objects can cannot be conduit of only evil or negative energy, as it would have to be physically or mentally placed in a said object or to a symbol, they aren't inherently negative to begin off,
I can see the masonic apron in the sigil of lucifer…and I can also see the freemasonry compass in it too…
I have the feeling the flower in the middle of Alester Crowley's hexagram was meant to be a sphincter. He was a very vile guy.

I mean, it's meant to be a quick rundown of things, and even so, there really aren't any errors. Except for Rosecrucianism being lumped together with the occult. You would also need to include Freemasons if that was the case. There is a difference between esoteric mysticism and esoteric occult too. Which would include rose cross, seal of solomon, eye of providence, oroborous, seal of god, etc. Also, ouroboros also have different meanings to different groups, which can be occult, but it can also be symbolic. Back to mysticism, couple of these are jeudo-mysticism or Christian-mysticism which is definitely not occult. Christian Rosenkrantz was a real person too. He was a German monk who journeyed to Egypt and the Far East, then returned with several artifacts and texts where he would then establish the Rosicrucian society.
@@existentialbunny1408 Thanks for your support! I covered the Freemasons in a separate video by the way since I consider them a secret society.
The goat of Mendez is where that symbol comes from. It was a pagan God before it was the God that was used by the Catholic Church to accuse the Knights Templar. The Knights Templar did not worship the goat of Mendez later renamed. Bephomat.
