    Well at least you prevented that much carbon from entering the atmosphere as co2. That car is environmentally friendly...

      Not very friendly on your pocket when that carbon fucks up your whole engine and it happens these Mazdas...

    I got engine check light on and diagnosed under code P0401. Had cleaned the intake & DPF. But after 250miles engine check light on again (still same code P0401)
    Any suggestion what should i do with?

    Hey mate, great video thumbs up. Do you reckon you could do a video on an EGR delete for this engine, and what or what would be your thoughts on doing that.
    I’ve just bought one of these and curious of good ideas to do for longevity. Like catch can and things too ? Would love to hear from you.
    Regards

      I never done any deletes don’t have the equipment to do them either and I don’t think it’s a good idea if it is done it can make fault finding a lot more difficult and soon I believe that the NCT will be looking at particle matter soot and NOX coming from the tail pipe if EGR and DPF are deleted it will fail watch this space it is coming

      @@deisediagnostics629 thanks for the reply, I live in Australia and they don’t really test the nox output when they roadworthy each year so that’s one less thing we worry about, but good point on it making it harder to fault find

    It's for Mazda 6 2.2, 65 plate (2015). Car started after cleaning, smoke came out of exhaust and got cleared after 2 mins. Car was perfect on idle. Done the coolant bleed and filled the coolant.. Car was running for good 45mins on idle and heating and working fine
    Took it for drive, power was back and felt smooth in every gear and no shakeness felt in flooring it
    The turbo was spooling can hear the turbo on the way home from good 25mins drive
    2nd time 4 hours later I went for the drive to the town and back 30mins drive car was good and smooth and picking sincerely in gears
    2 hours later went for drive for 45mins and got to inside roads and notice could not hear the turbo or turbo spooling and speed wasn't picking up after gear change and could not hear the turbo what could be the issue??
    Need little help with turbo as I do not hear the turbo spooling and delay in pick up speed, at the moment no engine management light
    Could it be issue with MAP sensor as it looks worn out? Or any other sensors I need to check or clean

    Hi! If I clean the EGR and intake, can I clean and intercooler?I think that carbon come from it!?

    • @deisediagnostics629
      @deisediagnostics629  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’ve only seen the intake manifold and EGR coolers to block up in the Mazda’s

    • @JAO911PLIST
      @JAO911PLIST ปีที่แล้ว

      Carbon comes from exhaust gas and the EGR sends some back into the engine because its already burned so it doesn't do anything but expand by absorbing heat and keeping the engine from burning too hot.
      So the exhaust gases only go through the egr and into the intake manifold. Unless you floor it at the highest gear at the lowest rpm and bog your car down, you wont have carbon build up outside the throttle body.
      The naturally aspirated 2.5l does the egr function using the exhaust valves. Any deposit there gets burned off.

    Hey, do you think it could be related to the scbs malfunction fault? It always appears when approaching cars at speed on the motorway while engine braking or when engine braking down hill. I got codes p0101 and p0401. I've replaced ehxaust pressure sensor and dpf pressure but had no luck with getting rid of this issue. I'm thinking now about cleaning the egd/manifold

    • @deisediagnostics629
      @deisediagnostics629  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If you fix the p0101 and p0401 with the intake clean the scbs system will be fixed also 👍

      @@deisediagnostics629 ok, reason i ask is the skyactive 2.2 problems with injector seals blow by was alleged to be 'fixed' by mazda in 2016. Fitted thicker seals for 2016/17 model years. I have only serviced a couple that are around 2019's or so but have lower mileage than that one you did. Doubt that will change the carbon/egr issue but I'm wondering of other changes
