    though that was a N/A 2.5 for a second and was amazed by the severity of the carbon buildup cause ive taken the intake runners off my 6 before at 130,000 and it wasnt nearly that bad wasnt till a few minuets that i read the title and realized lol. i thought it looked different but i just to tired to pay attention or care till i saw the carbon buildup

    Its funny that in 2019, Mazda Australia ( i cant speak for the rest of the world ) had a recall for ' The affected vehicles may accumulate carbon deposits in the intake shutter valve, in addition to premature wear of certain engine components ' + a 'software update', all free of charge. Now , what Mazda failed to mentioned is the total carboning up of intake ports &/ manifold , egr valve &/ cooler.
    They do the absolute minimum to absolve themselves of rectifying problems.

      I know it’s funny man I think the 2.2 skyactive engine has been a big failure for Mazda but it’s bringing some work our way

    How much would the inlet manifold clean cost? Also what were the symptoms the customer was experiencing with these issues?

      Some very nice guy recommended it to us 🙂
      It is some bit of kit Dave, it is out of the box more than in it 😉👍

    Is there a way to either delete or bypass the EGR valve to prevent this nightmare ?

    • @deisediagnostics629

      You could get it mapped out but I don’t think that’s a good idea better to keep things original

    novice question here: why does the intake side get so clogged with carbon?
    is it not just fuel going in the intake side?
    does a 2007 mazda 6 diesel have this problem too?

    • @deisediagnostics629
      @deisediagnostics629  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It’s just air going through the intake but with 2 EGR valves on the Mazda lot’s of exhaust gas going through as well and that blocks the intake manifold bad design I think and the 2007 is a different engine I think
