  • The Model S Long Range offers all-wheel drive for amazing traction in wet slippery and even snowy conditions as well as added performance, 0-60-mph in a little under 4 seconds. Fully charged the maximum range on a 2019 LR is about 350 miles with the upgraded wheels, one of the longest range battery vehicles you can buy miles, about the same as a 2022 Model 3 Long Range. But unlike the 3, which is a smaller entry level luxury vehicle, the Model S is a big spacious full on luxury sedan with a lot plusher and premium interior.

Enhanced autopilot is the better buy if you were going to opt into the more advanced autopilot. But I have heard from many long term Tesla owners that they trust the regular autopilot the most. Since they have had too many close calls with the more advanced autopilot. Definitely something to take note of for now.

Is 2019 model s quite reliable? Or it has known hardware issues etc?

If you compared the Model S to comparable european luxury sedans powered by gas I would say the Model S would be a lot more reliable and have lower maintenance costs. But since the S is a lot more complex the Model 3 I would say the Model 3 or Y would be the most reliable Tesla products to own. Common issues on the S are air suspension problems, pop-out door handles failing, sunroof issues, front drive unit failure and yellowing or delemination of the screen. All vehicels have weak points, overall the S is fairly reliable.
