@@RSEV Hi. You only resell UKcars with right hand drive, or also left hand drive cars for other european countries? I want to buy a used facelifted model s between 2016-2017 with free unlimited supercharger, for the cheapest, so I'm thinking between the 70 75 and 70D models. Thanks in advance!

Not going to lie, i saw it was 33 minutes long and was NOT about to watch. Very glad i did end up watching. Fantastic video, very informational. Saved some money and got a 2014 model s 85 instead of the 3 and I’m m very happy i did.

@@sam.michaelis sounds crazy but trust me. We have a new model 3, model y and a used 2015 model s and by FAR the old model s is the best you can get trust me don’t let the age fool you

@@jellan31i’m about to do the paperwork and send the deposit for a 2015 MS 85D, not performance. speed isn’t too important to me but i’m hoping i’m not making a mistake. it’s got 67k miles and it’s 21k haha, clean title, one owner

3 yrs later being in the used model s market this video is a goldmine of information. thank you for being an intelligent and informed subject matter expert as compared to the other 99% of shallow and useless videos.
Great video! after comparing a used S vs 3, I bought a 2015 S85D from Tesla in April 2019, with 12,004 miles. It was a returned 3 year lease and felt like a brand new car. At that time, it came with a 4 year/50,000 mile warranty starting from my delivery date, free supercharging and free premium connectivity. 19” wheels, Technology Upgrade with Autopilot 1.0, all heated seats, premium sound system with subwoofer, and panoramic sunroof. Best part was the price, about 60% of the sticker price. I LOVE it.
A few months ago I had Tesla upgrade the MCU1 to the new MCU2. Now I have all the games and video theater of a 3. Still prefer my beautiful S85D!
You are a lucky man. I was seriously looking in 2019 for either a used model S or a new model 3 (back when you could downgrade to standard for 35k) and ended up deciding to hold off due to work going remote. Now I need a new car badly and prices have sky rocketed for both options :(
I own a Toyota Camry se and I’m thinking of trading it for 2016 Tesla model s price range if 30k-35k any suggestions and getting the teslas insurance.
@@petersonv9535 The 2016 75D is a great option in that price range. And I have Progressive insurance, which is very affordable to me!

I'm a Model S owner and you covered everything. And I mean everything. I don't think you missed any single thing! I feel silver is the best color for the Model S. What a shame they discontinued it. Also a shame the panoramic sunroof was discontinued.
Would love a sunroof. I bought my S just after they'd been discontinued. I see the Enyaq can have one!

I was considering a Model3 Performance but was disappointed with my test drive. Tesla only had the original version to drive that didn't have the larger wheels and brakes. Superb performance though.
@@djwarren5081 personally I'd be looking for long range as I'd use as my company car so mileage would be my biggest concern. I would stick with normal wheels which don't actually look that bad.

I am one of the lucky ones. Although I live in central Texas, I bought a second hand 2013 Model S from an individual in Sacramento, California in April, 2020 sight unseen (except in photos) with 91K miles. The seller posted over 30 photos and answered ALL of my questions regarding condition of the car before I made the purchase, but if you ask the right questions and verify the veracity of the answers, then you can come out fine. However, buying that way is still a gamble.

Great guide to the Model S, thanks. On the issue of the CCS adapter, I’ve been informed a hardware upgrade is also required before the adapter will work, at least in a 2017 model, costing around £280 at a Tesla Service centre. There is a system message indicating if it’s installed or not.
