i just tried this. i literally blew up the phone. make sure you don't use metal tool to remove the battery. i even knew that you shouldn't use metal near lithium ion battery, but i underestimated the danger.
at least it made my day more exciting.

The long one is the home button/fingerprint scanner... That's why in the test he touched it and nothing happened

The pointy blue thing is a pick like the guitar ones... The blue thingy with white straps is a double face glue... The blue thing that looked like a screen protector is a glue mask for the application of glue in that phone... It usually come with any original replacement for that phone since any replacement require screen removal

The worst thing about this video is that there are no voice instructions to guide you through the steps, especially for things that need special attention and protection. At 3:54, there are two orange cables underneath the battery. I eventually broke these two cables in the process of replacing the battery.
