My solution would be to buy a last gen Pixel device like a 6 or even 5A and flash either GrapheneOS or CalyxOS if you want a private phone, or just get one of the many Linux phones.

This was what pissed people off so much and how this scam was able to be so successful, the wrongful termination of services based on a lie. But the Freedom Phone has NOTHING on the absolute scam ran by the 4Ocean guys who sell bracelets made by plastic ocean trash. The TH-cam videos showing those scammers are amazing. The only phones I've used in the last several years are Google pixel and plop phones. They both have advantage and disadvantages but they offer the best user experience to me

Celebs will promote dangerous scams, but then return to use the phone famed for it's high-security measures and standards. Also, I am not saying Android isn't secure, as Android is on par with iOS, but unlike Apple, Google gives a little more leeway while Apple is more strict.
