About halfway through the video and I am really enjoying the maniacal laughter from off screen. Should have probably held this one back until Halloween.
I'm happy you published this after I did my build last week as the Mrs just got a tazer and would be more than happy to emulate this. RE: The SSD '4 screws' question - nope, two screws only if mounting them. Hell, I have two of them just tossed into the bottom of my case sitting loose as the case only has 3 SSD mounts, and I have 5 drives.
Little tip as well for those who don't use the triangle method, the raised end of the CPU socket that the latch is in is the "top" of the socket, so you can arrange the CPU based on which way the text is facing as well. I'm not sure if this is right 100% of the time cause its not listed in any guide/manual, but of all the systems I've built for myself/friends/customers over the last few years this has worked out so I'm fairly confident in it.
That was a really fun and funny video. I'm totally with you. They day I can complete a build without dropping at least 1 screw is the day I sit back and retire from it.
Have to admit, I've never used a magnetic screwdriver when pc building. I usually just finger place each screw and then finish off with a standard screwdriver. Much less screw drops that way.
G'day Dawid, Anna & Neko, Anna your laugh when Dawid was doing the screws hoping for him to drop them, I think you enjoyed making this video too much 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ahhhhhh Dawid this is my current favorite video of yours, and I will be back to watch it at least 10 times. This was a really great video idea my man. Keep up the good work, you'll stop dropping screws in no time hahah. What I think you need more than anything, is a stronger magnet on your screwdriver maybe, because my screws dont fall off the tip of mine unless I actively shake it around TRYING to knock a screw off, but bumps and just little movements dont cause anything to happen really.
If you hadn't spent $28,318 CAD on wish graphics card's, you'd be able to afford a decent magnetic driver. Anna in the background laughing like a crazy person. Gold. Shortly after filming of this insane idea, an Ambulance was called after Dawid's heart had stopped, and he proceeded to blow up their defibrillator.
Assembling in zero-G removes the problem with dropped screws. Unfortunately the screws tend to float into the air recycling system, gum up the works, and people suffocate ...

I just built using the Corsair 4000D Airflow case like the one in this video. Lovely case, picked it up for just under £80 from Amazon in the UK. After cutting my cutting teeth with cheaper cases I can’t go back now. A definite recommend for this Corsair case. I don’t put all 4 screws into SSD cases either, its not as though its going to vibrate like a HDD is it? 2 screws are fine for SSD case.
Yeah I have the Trident Z RGB ram as well and it’s pretty solid but the light diffuser bar thingy on the top is a little loose and will rattle for some reason, I’m not too sure why it’s loose like that. You two are such a good pair! Definitely do more content together

I have a pro tip Dawid, find yourself a old dvd drive, crack it open, take out the laser assembly, crack the lens part open, and you will find 2 to sometimes 4 lil' magnets in there, i think the LG ones do have 4, and they are so small that you can attach them to your screw bit and never drop a screw again, sometimes the screw will flip over on the magnet, but its way better than turning your case around in the air trying to get that 1 screw out of there :p
I have that same case and cooler in my build. I love it. Was super easy to build in and the cable management channel with the Velcro loops are great! The only down side to the cooler is that you have to run NZXT CAM software in order to control the LCD, although in all my test it did not seem to impact performance at all.
