Thanks for all the cool build ideas. Total: $1165 with how well my PC runs i think something like you showed in the video would be just enough to gift him
That SP X-power RAM is actually quite good. I use 32GB of it in one of my systems with an ASUS B550F and 5600X. It runs stable CL16 3200 with DOCP/XMP set. It was one of the ram kits listed on the ASUS QVL for the motherboard.
I've used 32gb turbine and stealth in 4 different systems, including my daily driver for 2 years with no problems. The 32gb kits are also dual rank. Although I did get one kit that couldnt' hit XMP but returns are so easy with amazon it really wasn't a big deal.
I have a non X ryzen 5 5600 and a rx 6600, and I find them a really good pairing even for AAA games. I'm glad you've had such an awesome experience with such a cheap little system!
Non-X is the way to go for smart money, even more so with the Ryzen 7000 series. The performance differences are insignificant and you can always use PBO to make up any difference.
exactly!! I've heard to always put it to the left, not the right. And I don't think up and down is possible because the mounting holes would be slightly misaligned.
on the topic of budget gaming PCs, just wanted to brag how i got a PC with a 9th gen i5, nvidia 2060, 32gb of ram, for the low low price of 170 usd, by buying from a friend. only thing i needed was a boot drive, so i just pulled the 1tb ssd out of my laptop and stuck it in the pc, and its working great
I think the only problem with mounting the AMD Stealth cooler that way was that it could interfere with RAM clearance if you used 4 sticks, otherwise it doesnt matter
At least in tech it is usual to make inscriptions readable from below or from the right side. So you mounted the cooler the wrong way. And für the Molex powered fan: There was also a 3-Pin plug. I usually cut the extension wires to the Molex 4-Pin right at close as possible at the 3-Pin. So you get a normal 3-Pin Fan to connect to a board header.
Dude! I just did a vid on the deepcool ch510 mesh digital case and the mounting for the ssds were a really nice touch! I'm really digging deepcools products!
This is the most sensible build i have seen in a while. A be quiet pure rock slim 2, 2 to 3 new casefans from arctic and a 512gig ssd and you are set. A 700 USD build that can play anything and actually looks pretty nice.
Yepp, my suggest in place of the poor mustard-ketchup cabled psu would be the blitzwolf gp-1 550w...same price, step up in rating(80+gold), quality, fully modular, black cables and little rgb.
I remember the pullout PCI-E tabs. I lost so much blood and skin from my knuckles building PC back then. I was so happy when they started using removable covers. I still have covers and the screws from PCs I built 15-20 years ago.
It’s kinda crazy how people were okay with low frame rates back in the 2000s. As long as it ran the game we were happy. Today we gonna have them frame rates! I’m guilty of this after I built my first gaming PC in 2020.
Absolutely insane system for $350. It's insane the PC value you can have today for pennies. You can work a fast food job in a city for 3 days and have enough to buy and build this PC. No excuses.
I'd force a 5600g over the 4600g personally for about twice the amount of cache but I love the rest of this build. Definitely need both dual ram sticks and as much as you can afford for the iGPU so 16 or even 32 GBs is right and allocate 4 or 8 GBs to video. But that of course would not be the CHEAPEST-ish :D
Suggestion Dawid - do an incremental improvements series. e.g. take a SUPER low spec PC and gradually boost ONE category per episode. E.g. Graphics from APU to 1070 to 2060 to 3050 to 4090, CPU from i3, i5, i7 to Ryzen 9/i9, SSD, Mobo, etc Some cases I assume it will have little to no impact, see where diminishing returns kicks in
Iirc "haswell ready" means it has been tested to work with intel speed step, which has a tendancy to mess with the stability of some group regulated psus
Dawid, at 6:30 you can clearly see the Molex being daisy-chained off a PMW header, probably for people without case fan connectors. Hook it up to the motherboard
Hi David, nice to see you spend the patreon money on really awesome hardware. Honestly speeking, I like to see igpu put into play again. Far from everybody can afford a RTX 4090 or similar. I actually sell many with 5600G, with a proper upgrade path (good psu for instance)
5600G and 5700G are awesome. But as a upgrade path it is just sad. Outside of the fact that 5600G might be even cheaper then 5600(nonx) it just aint right to put a dedicated GPU on a APU. Just no. Anyways AM5 might give us APU's that make low end GPU's pointless at last. But to buy a 5600G to then add a 7600xt or even 6700xt sounds like such a waste. Even the new AM5 CPU's makes more sense since the iGPU in them are not really for gaming yet gives the benefits of a backup graphics for troubleshooting. 5600G is not worth it if one can get a 5700x instead really.
@@Awngelo it's rarely not worth it to add a dedicated GPU to a gaming system. I love having a IGPU on my system for backup if my card starts malfunctioning so I can troubleshoot things and still be able to use the system for basic stuff when I have to replace the GPU. Learned this lesson the hard way a long time ago and never made that mistake again.
@@Joreel ye thats how i see it too. But the only reason why i bought the 5600g in particular was bcs i play simple games like minecraft, valorant and fortnite. And the gpu prices were too high in 2021. But its always smart to have a igpu or integrated graphics
To be precise, the last steam user statistic I read showed that only 0.24% of users had a RTX 4090 installed (one quarter of one percent of the sample poll).
dude that igpu result in battlefield 5 is SO playable. i'm accustomed to running games in the 20-40fps range anyway, and i have no problem going to 720p and lower for fps gains, so seeing results like this makes me (and my wallet) very excited!
dawid, im curious: how do you sound so well in videos? your audio sounds like you spend 98% of the time you have to make a video editing audio. whenever i record myself i sound like talking into a bucket lol
Microphone quality helps, as does having good sound dampening in the area you're recording in. Do some tests with what you got, figure out how to get your mic to best pick up *just* your voice and fiddle with the settings on your recording software. Most the time, editing the audio should only take the time to slap on the standard filters and edit out all the ums, stutters and verbal typos. (Source: Being on the webcast team at work. 80% of the sound improvement came from sound dampening and a microphone that didn't suck. Well worth looking into if you can)
So a few things: 1) This case rocks for the price. Only thing that comes close is the Montech X1, but I prefer this one because of how the glass is mounted. $30 more gets you a Montech X3 though, and even with 6 - yes, 6 - Molex fans that use the 5 volt pin for the RGB lighting, it’s better than either case because of the included 140 and 120 fans. 2) There are people who put the AMD Wraith logo on the left. There are people who put the AMD Wraith logo on the right. And then there are the the people that just take the shroud off because logos are annoying. 3) I’ve used that PSU in several budget builds over the last decade and they’ve all been solid. The 700 watt model is the bare minimum I’d use if I were building something today since it’s a “rule of 2/3rds” PSU - only 2/3rd the wattage is available on 12 volts.
Dropped a Rx 6650 xt into my system yesterday after running off a 5600G iGPU for a while and it honestly shocked me a lot at the difference in performance caused by adding in one part. also had to deal with the wierd break off slot covers and it did not feel right to break them off at all lol.
Well, the gpu is the single most important part for pc performance. You can take a 10 year old pc with a 3rd gen intel processor, and add a decent video card, maybe add another matching stick of ram, and it will give you a proper gaming experience.
Well done sir! When you mentioned this build last week I got excited! And it didn't disappoint. That MACUBE is surprisingly less crap-tastic than I thought it would be!
@@TurkeyJoe Just goes to show that companies with a "meh" track record can still make quality components. I actually have that SSD he used manufactured by Silicon Power. Its cheap and good. A rare combination.
looks like the only real negative about that case is the breakoff slot covers, which are common on cheap cases (and have been for decades). That and sharp edges/thin metal. All are hallmarks of cheap. Though they've largely gotten away from sharp edges lately, I'm sure some bottom-tier cases still have this problem.

All I play are older games anyway so I don't really need the high end, and many of them don't like high refresh either so I may as well save some money.
So 2 things Dawid, 1) seeing you have to hand screw stuff with a normal screw driver when Linus could clearly bike messenger across town the LTT ratchet screwdriver to you makes me sad. and 2) I love this build cause it is very close to my personal build. The MSI B550M pro vdh wifi is actually a pretty god damn slick budget board tbh Used it for a build recently because it offered a ridiculous amount of features I was looking for for stupid cheap Haven't had any issues with it, didn't even have to fuck with bios update (luckily, heard from many users some came with old ass bios and had to update p.i.t.a. via usb stick) Solid buy, imo
They have improved on the graphics side of their newer APU chips. I have a non gaming laptop that has a Ryzen 7 4700u and while the config involves a soldered 8gb ram stick, it plays a lot of games quite well. Mix settings obviously for some games, but was really impressed with it. I do have a gaming laptop now, but I still use the Ryzen laptop.
Love the video! I almost spit out my lunch laughing hard at work when I heard your Canadian currency pronunciation. This pc from Amazon parts performs way better than most Amazon affordable “pre-builds”.
I must say, this is probably one of the more reasonable builds you've done (but what's the fun in that). I haven't thought about the cost though, but by using a Ryzen 5 with an iGPU, you can at a later point add a graphics card if you would like. I don't care about the mounting of the cpu cooler, but in my opinion, using the stock cooler is just sad. But I certainly like the lack of RGB abomination! BTW: I don't know if you did that, but usually the iGPU only has 2 GB of RAM dedicated to it in default. Also most motherboards support up to 16GB of RAM dedicated to the iGPU but that means you need to have at least 32GB of RAM. You reserve the amount of RAM in BIOS! Noting that Cyberpunk only draws 1,9Gb of RAM I think is telling you didn't reserve more RAM in BIOS.
The Igpu with battlefield 5 is the same performance I was getting with a i5 2400 and 1050ti back when battlefield 5 released. Crazy how far we have come in just a few years.
This PC is very close to the first PC I built in 2020, an am4 320, a 2600 r5, the same ram kit, R9 390x, and an 800-watt refurb EVGA power supply. I used it in that configuration until I upgraded the GPU to a 2080ti. Worked great for a starter VR PC. I dare you to build a "VR" PC and test VR components using the base of what will even run VR with the on-the-box "VR ready logos." It's misleading marketing, and I bet you'd have a funny video using that format.
I love it when TH-cam content creators build with budget parts, it's always amusing. I been using SP or Silicon Power 1 TB SSD for my mass storage in my personal build and in builds i sold for about 3 years now and in combination with XGP Adata NVME m.2 SSD boot drive in my own build and they both have worked flawlessly, I've have nor have I had any complaints from clients, about Silicon power or there ram its good. As far as the thermaltake PSU I wouldn't ever cheap it on a PSU like that, I will look for stuff like EVGA 80 plus bronze or bequite stuff on Amazon warehouse I've gotten some really good deals. Belieave it or not there are some good budget and discounted parts on Amazon, but there's also some junk and so you gotta know what not to buy, budget parts can be a fickle bitch! 😂😂🤣🤣
Another thing about these iGPU's is that they have shared memory for VRAM, allowing the dedicated RAM to be used. However, there are ways in the BIOS, and other ways (check other YT videos) on how you can give it dedicated VRAM and increase it. I've got a Ryzen 7 5700u with a Vega 8 iGPU with 3GB VRAM.

GPU RTX3060Ti
SSD: 1 terabyte samsung
Case Corsair 4000D
Cooling Corsair ICue water Cooling.
Total: $1165
with how well my PC runs i think something like you showed in the video would be just enough to gift him
You accidentally made a really balanced rig after you dropped that GPU in there. Thats a nice set up for under $1000 right there.
That SP X-power RAM is actually quite good. I use 32GB of it in one of my systems with an ASUS B550F and 5600X. It runs stable CL16 3200 with DOCP/XMP set. It was one of the ram kits listed on the ASUS QVL for the motherboard.
I've been using the SP RAM in my PC and almost every PC I've built. Never had an issue it's extremely good.
I've used 32gb turbine and stealth in 4 different systems, including my daily driver for 2 years with no problems. The 32gb kits are also dual rank. Although I did get one kit that couldnt' hit XMP but returns are so easy with amazon it really wasn't a big deal.
i love molex conectors
I have a non X ryzen 5 5600 and a rx 6600, and I find them a really good pairing even for AAA games. I'm glad you've had such an awesome experience with such a cheap little system!
Non-X is the way to go for smart money, even more so with the Ryzen 7000 series. The performance differences are insignificant and you can always use PBO to make up any difference.
The AMD logo on the cooler should go any direction other than the one you chose lol. Now it covers the first RAM slot.
exactly!! I've heard to always put it to the left, not the right. And I don't think up and down is possible because the mounting holes would be slightly misaligned.
on the topic of budget gaming PCs, just wanted to brag how i got a PC with a 9th gen i5, nvidia 2060, 32gb of ram, for the low low price of 170 usd, by buying from a friend. only thing i needed was a boot drive, so i just pulled the 1tb ssd out of my laptop and stuck it in the pc, and its working great
I think the only problem with mounting the AMD Stealth cooler that way was that it could interfere with RAM clearance if you used 4 sticks, otherwise it doesnt matter
wow actually looks clean!!!
Hi Dawid! This video made me sweat in a way I didn’t expect.
😏

At least in tech it is usual to make inscriptions readable from below or from the right side. So you mounted the cooler the wrong way. And für the Molex powered fan: There was also a 3-Pin plug. I usually cut the extension wires to the Molex 4-Pin right at close as possible at the 3-Pin. So you get a normal 3-Pin Fan to connect to a board header.
HOW did it turn out so good-looking?? With Ketchup and mustard even!
The cooler goes with the amd logo on the left... as the way you have it is clearly blocking a ram slot 😁
Dude! I just did a vid on the deepcool ch510 mesh digital case and the mounting for the ssds were a really nice touch! I'm really digging deepcools products!
1:11 X-power gaming turbine gives off the same energy as those people who stick GTR, Type R, M, and Nismo onto their Peugeot 208
You are a madman! Love your content! You are the type of guy that could build a pc to buy the parts to build a pc and I'm saying it in a good way
That was a comment of all time.
@@BraveClam it was indeed a comment.
🤔🤔😂👍👍
@@Play3rID he a bit confused, but he got the right idea.
Aren't we all that builder? I don't think I have a single rig with any original parts.
This is the most sensible build i have seen in a while.
A be quiet pure rock slim 2, 2 to 3 new casefans from arctic and a 512gig ssd and you are set.
A 700 USD build that can play anything and actually looks pretty nice.
This pc was so close to being a super clean stealthy build. Black PSU cables, black ram, and a less tinfoil motherboard backplate
That thermaltake psu is actually fairly decent ive been using the exact same one and it hasn't blown up yet
Emphasis on the yet 😉 But seriously, Thermaltake aren't horrific.
It’s kinda crazy how people were okay with low frame rates back in the 2000s. As long as it ran the game we were happy. Today we gonna have them frame rates! I’m guilty of this after I built my first gaming PC in 2020.
Your analogies are on point yet again! Keep up the good work!
You gotta update these games to games people actually play currently
I’m offended by the way your mounting the cooler. You should remove 4 screws and rotate that AMD logo to the top😂
Well, I'd argue it's still cheaper than buying a dedicated graphics card.
Suggestion Dawid - do an incremental improvements series.
e.g. take a SUPER low spec PC and gradually boost ONE category per episode. E.g. Graphics from APU to 1070 to 2060 to 3050 to 4090, CPU from i3, i5, i7 to Ryzen 9/i9, SSD, Mobo, etc
Some cases I assume it will have little to no impact, see where diminishing returns kicks in
Man, I love your videos. Most of them are totally pointless, but so damn funny. Keep on the good work!
Iirc "haswell ready" means it has been tested to work with intel speed step, which has a tendancy to mess with the stability of some group regulated psus
I bet that you could have gotten tons of more framerate on the iGPU if you oriented the AMD stock cooler a different way. :P
RGB adds +10% more FPS. :P
I, too, love the Msi B550M PRO-VDÄÆUGH WIFI Motherboard.
This guy’s humour is like a nice warm cup of Tim Horton coffee in a cold morning day.
I like his humor but hprtons coffee is like rancid battery acid
Dawid, at 6:30 you can clearly see the Molex being daisy-chained off a PMW header, probably for people without case fan connectors. Hook it up to the motherboard
Will we see a death match arena of death between this cheap Amazon build, and some of those crappy pre-builds you keep buying?
this video took me from being a casual viewer who subscribes, to being a fan who subscribes. great content.
Please upload more prebuilt videos
You had me at "Amazon crap".........
That a surpringly good gaming experience. A real good bang for the drachmee
5600G is not worth it if one can get a 5700x instead really.
i bought a 5600g and later put a 3060ti in it when the prices dropped was worth it!
Well worth looking into if you can)
For sound dampening on the cheap, open up your closet and let the clothes on hangers do it's magic...
Honestly the build doesn’t even look too bad despite the price!
Nice Vid
I always wonderered what do you do with all these computers after you build them? Do you just return the stuff?
I imagine he is building these for customers. They give a budget, he picks the parts, and then gives it a "theme" and makes a video based around that.
So a few things:
1) This case rocks for the price.
How does it perform in 1440p ??
@@Blujay188 i dont have a 1440p monitor so i cant test that
@@NE0N0W0 YOu can with VSR , its in the AMD driver thing
Well, the gpu is the single most important part for pc performance. You can take a 10 year old pc with a 3rd gen intel processor, and add a decent video card, maybe add another matching stick of ram, and it will give you a proper gaming experience.
I was thinking of upgrading to an rx 6650 xt now while I can get The Last of Us as a bonus lol.
Awesomesauce video, Dawid! I was really surprised this build was so high-end!!!
You, sir, are still the best low end reviewer I love watching.
Well done sir! When you mentioned this build last week I got excited! And it didn't disappoint. That MACUBE is surprisingly less crap-tastic than I thought it would be!
I was pleasantly surprised about the choice of case, as it's the one I have! Solid budget case IMO.
Though they've largely gotten away from sharp edges lately, I'm sure some bottom-tier cases still have this problem.
case looks pretty similar to my lian-li one. Budget but you get a basement to help with cable management and a space behind the motherboard too. Good to see thats almost a baseline expectation these days
Actually puting an Radeon Rx550 4Gb video card (110$) can make this Pc pretty usable!
110,?? bru h wtf no no no with 110$ you can get a used 1660 bro....
@@aymen.d1372 depends on the country
RX580 8Gb are going for that price in canada now, they were popular mining cards so now they're getting sold off in mass bundles
@@piersonm5574 not sure where you live my country is so fuked up that 3050 costs more than 400$ and the 3060ti 600$😊💔 but 550 for 110$ nah you have to leve this place😂
@aymen.D Here in South Africa rx580 8gb costs $100 used and gtx 1660 costs $140 used. Rx550 isn't as common here, the Rx580 is pretty good on the used market because of all the mining. It's cheap to get new thermal pads and anyone doing a new build already has thermal paste, I would recommend repasting cards this old. And yeah, Rtx 3050 is still scamming people new here at nearly $400
I love that now 3 channels have done $400 and below PC builds, it works out great for me because a friend of mine wants me to build him a PC and his max budget is $400. I parted a build out on pcpartpicker which is quite a bit different going with a cheaper AMD cpu (R3 3200G) and board (Msi B450-A Pro Max) but more expensive larger storage (1TB Crucial BX500 SSD) and a better case (Zalman S2). It came in at around $395 (excluding fans because I told him I have plenty of spare case fans when he needs them) but I told him he would still have to purchase atleast a Windows 11 key from one of those discount key websites.
What Full ATX case would you recommend for someone who doesn't want any see through windows in it and doesn't care about rainbow color led extravaganza beeming out from the case?
I have never understood the fascination with making your PC look like the neon sign outside of a brothel
@@floydlooney6837 exactly. And it feels like all the cases nowadays are designed for that.
There's several I've seen on sites like Newegg but a lot of them come with a drive bays. I have a gamemax m60 that has mesh side panels and no glass but it's only an matx case
if you don't care about RGB and looking into the case, why does it matter if the case has a window?
@@floydlooney6837 I'll never understand the fascination with people shitting on those who enjoy aesthetics as much as performance. It's not your money, it's not your system, it's none of your business.
That's it, I'm done spending 5k a year between desktop and laptop having near top of the line performance. I'm going to start getting low end 1k or under PC's to play my games. All I play are older games anyway so I don't really need the high end, and many of them don't like high refresh either so I may as well save some money.
THIS MAN BASICALLY MADE MY EXACT PC WTH 😭😭😭
So 2 things Dawid, 1) seeing you have to hand screw stuff with a normal screw driver when Linus could clearly bike messenger across town the LTT ratchet screwdriver to you makes me sad. and 2) I love this build cause it is very close to my personal build. I run an AMD 5600G with 16gb DDR4 3200mhz on a TUF X570-PLUS (wifi) and an RX 6600 that I got new for under $300. This puts this video into probably my Top 3 Dawid videos of all time!

Overkill lol. I'm using an arc a770 (on Linux) in a system that's shockingly similar to this build (5600 instead of a 4600g, and a modular power supply, but same motherboard), and it's yawning with max settings in cyberpunk, even at 3840x1440
The MSI B550M pro vdh wifi is actually a pretty god damn slick budget board tbh
Used it for a build recently because it offered a ridiculous amount of features I was looking for for stupid cheap
Haven't had any issues with it, didn't even have to fuck with bios update (luckily, heard from many users some came with old ass bios and had to update p.i.t.a. via usb stick)
Solid buy, imo
"Yes, it's the end! BYE!" Gotta love that closing. Linoooode...
The fact it runs 2077 at all on a IGPU is pretty impressive
10:21 the way dawid just pauses to dominate that guy cracks me up 🤣🤣
Videos like this, is what makes me wonder how they're able to pump out consoles for the prices they do.
I love these videos. Its nice to know that you dont need to go broke just to play games.
Am I the only one who finds breaking off those pci slot covers slightly satisfying?
Instant IO shield appearance upgrade: a quick blast of matte black spray paint on the outer side.
This video gave me Canadian Dankpods vibes. Well done Dawid.
learned a lot to upgrade my pc, thanks for the examples on seeing what each thing does for the pc and explaining the processes as well as you did.
The Igpu with battlefield 5 is the same performance I was getting with a i5 2400 and 1050ti back when battlefield 5 released. Crazy how far we have come in just a few years.
Nice mic and music, man!
All the best to you, all the way from Germany!
I legitimately love your contents.
OMG... Holy Moley! You've got my screwdriver 😲😲. One of my fav ratchets.
Awesome. Oh, nice build for the super low $!
Thx for your hard work. ... DT
Raaa intresting video was gonna consider building a pc without a gpu for beginning but to much of a difference need the gpu now also love the outro* pain and simple
your ending was basically Oscar the Grouch. "SCRAM!" Excellent.
Very nice budget build Dawid. That would make for a good entry level PC with some room for expansion. Cheers
Silicon power is one of my favorite companies for ram and storage, decent kits on the cheap
I built my first PC using parts from Amazon including the 5 4600g, 16 gb of Corsair 3200 MHz ram 500gb crucial nvme, evga PSU and an Asus b450 motherboard and a frankly terrible cit case for the princely sum of £73 thanks to my works bonus of £200 of Amazon vouchers. It was a great starting experience but have since bought a 1660 super and a thermaltake h18 case and wow she's now a beaut. And I used a video of yours to help build it..... So thank you sir.
