Please don't use baby wipes, wet wipes or any other cleaning product that has acetone, perfume or other ingredients other than alcohol. This can lead to damage later on as it will slowly corrode your cartridges and the pins in the cartridge slot. Use isopropyl alcohol 90% or higher.

Had to toss ya the like, i wasn't expecting the expansion pack to be the issue. I had to use a spoon to remove it, cleaned it with alcohol and a cotton swab, then bam the system worked. I already ordered a replacement n64, but hell the more the merrier. Cheers!
Just be sure to let your games dry for about a minute before popping them in and starting them up. Same with cleaning the pins inside the console. Make sure you give it a minute or two for the alcohol from the wipes, or Qtips, whatever your method might be, dry out fully. Alcohol dries quick so a minute is normally plenty of time unless you doused the thing lol
I think that did the trick! For me, I used those wipes used to clean my eye glasses which dry super fast which is perfect so I don’t worry about getting anything wet
Thanks man, haven't touch my N64 in a while, problem seems to be the expansion pak since putting back it's original jumper pak it works again. I'll clean up the expansion later and see if it still works or have to buy another one.

Then if that wont work get a metal filling scrubber and work the cartage up and down, worked 7/7 games that i had that are over 20 years old. so im sure it might work for some of your games depending how bad the corrosion is
Turns out my Expansion Pack was the problem. After about a year or so of my brother saying it didn't work and dumped it in his closet, I treated that Pack like a cartridge and it works again, though I had to keep doing the same method over and over.

TVs don't accept 240p they accept 480i or higher resolutions 90s gaming consoles output 240p instead of 480i and TVs don't understand 240p tube TVs just used scan lines or line doubling to make it work on your tube TV
