Even somewhat damaged or uneven applications of the designs can have value. And for free...why not? An Etsy post for vintage for sure. I had a friend who collected flow blue and she had about 70 pieces including the slightly damaged ones for display.
Only one plate is flow blue. The two others are transfer ware. They used decals under the glaze. I dont know that pattern. Even the transfer ware plates could have a little value. Heck, the price was right!
The vintage Christmas tags you found reminded me of my Grandpa. He would make his own Christmas tags and give them to us kids to use. I still have some. Kept them as memories.
The dress you described as tie-dye, is more likely can be described as batik, as done in a lot of Asian island countries! Really neat finds! 🤗 After the clothes are washed, I see some more modeling in your future TH-cam videos! Yes! I looked, Etsy is selling the Corky Cooler for about forty dollars!
Renee, bring on the next 3 bags, please! I don't want to wait. That was fun. Short, but fun. You're brave. If I were to open up trash bags on camera, I would be pulling out used store bags, banana peels, rotten food, empty bottles...in other words, trash. You scored.
Flow blue plates were quite expensive and very collectable in the 90s. I believe the market may have softened, but you should definitely check them out. Some people would still love to have them.
People throw out household stuff and Personal stuff all the time when they do cleanouts. I get the most excited when you have mystery bags of things to show us. Keep up the good work love your channel.
I absolutely loved the green travel bag you kept for yourself. Very nice! It is fun to find treasures. I love thrifting and get small bags of toiletries with soaps.
I love the vintage Christmas items. That Corky Cooler is real neat. A have a niece that we call Corky for her nickname. Have a wonderful & blessed day.🙏😀❤😀🙏
Those two wooden handled tools are for wallpaper hanging. The case with the rotting top was a Shick Shaver Case. You found the shaver that would go into that case!...Made in the 1950's, pop had one, and it was the shaver I first began to tackle my peach fuzz with...back in 1959! Nice surprises! Nice to see you happy and safe!
I'm glad you now to really check the bags before you leave them. Also people will buy the old wallpaper for junk journaling and all. My grandma and great Aunt's and mom and Aunt would make pretty paper beads with them. They would paint them with clear nail polish to make them shine. I think I have three of the necklaces.
I am a vintage seller also. I love vintage holiday too! Aside from the sweet cards you found, I think your Locoste is the best item. i would love to see the pink dress a bit closer, but that looks beautiful too.
Hi Renee, I am pretty sure those 3 wooden tools (the bayer, the cutter and the brush ) are wallpaper tools and the rolls of paper are wallpaper. Great finds again and I love how excited you get. I am enjoying the attic cleanup as well. Stay safe, Michele
That makes sense Michele, seeing as there was also the box of the wallpaper paste. I could have lived with that wallpaper in my room, it was very pretty & light!
I love how disappointed you sound when you find modern wrapping paper! It’s just cute. And then how excited you get when you find vintage paper! Thank you for the video!
That modern wrapping paper, had to trick me. Now, if that would have been wrapping paper from the 80s or 90s with a cartoon character on it, I would have reacted much differently hah.
I'm thankful that the woman of the home and I look to be about the same size in some articles of clothing. I'll be able to wash and wear some of the great vintage pieces :0)
We recently got new neighbors who are doing a total remodeling job on a hoarders house across the street from us. Yesterday they threw out one of those old fashioned pop corn makers on the rolling stand. The pop corn machine was destroyed so we can scrap that and the bottom is going to make the cutest plant stand !

Yes, flow blue sells pretty well, they were seconds from England that they sent to America for a cheap price long ago. Americans collect it now, I find it beautiful.

Great find on the vintage Christmas. So darn cute. The flow blue plates may not be worth too much but they are great hanging on a wall. Can't wait for the next bags.
One thing i learned cleaning out houses is anything glass, someone will buy it. I used to fill storage units and once i got 4 or 5 full i would do a sale right at the sorage unit for a week. Love it it when you go through the bags !! You give me the motivation to get out there and not be shy about it ! By the way, could watch you do that for hrs...I feel like I'm right there with you !! Lol

A lot of flo blue plates are valuable. I used to sell them all the time in our antique mall. A lot of people just decorate with one plate here and there. Such cool vintage items!!
@@PaperandMoose when you roll out about 1/3 of the paper it will start to get better, Maybe sooner. That comes from a soon to be 70 yr old Antique Dealer. Looks like you did great with that bag. I’ve seen those corky coolers prices at $20-30, yours look in great condition I’ve had very good luck selling old nurse outfits, make sure you didn’t miss the little cap Can be a very good market for older wallpaper, I had a wife that used to make out like a bandit selling it. She knew a guy that inherited an old store that had a bunch of old stock. Couldn’t really see the mouse trap to well but looked like an older one, believe it or not some can be very desirable. I have to confess I sort of collect mouse and rat traps have them displayed on a shelf in my kitchen. Have an old fishing lure that looks like a mouse in one of them, kind of fun
I wish the wallpaper would have still been in the wrapping, it was so brittle and once you unrolled a section, just crumbled. I've seen a few of the old mouse traps, some are pretty neat and very collectible as you said!
Like the cooler, cooool! Unless it your add, only see one on eBay, price exchange was about $55 Canadian, around $40 American. That had to be a house clean out. Great finds.
Nope, not my listing. If they aren't regular sellers, it might be easier for me to bring to the flea market. Won't get top dollar, but might make for a quick sale (once the markets open!).
Those Christmas tags....my Aunt used to make some that looked almost identical to the stack you found. She recycled & repurposed before that was the cool thing to do. She would ask for everyone's old Christmas cards, then she would use other scraps of colored & textured papers, as well as scraps of ribbon & yarn. Then she went at it with pinking shears & hole punches to make those cute little gift tags. Wondering if she got the idea from a ladies or craft magazine from the 80's because yours look very similar to ones I used & ones I STILL HAVE. She also made little Valentines cards recycling larger Valentines cards, & then wedding & general use gift tags or cards using B-day & Anniversary cards. I'm getting excited about this & may have to start making them too!!
