As a Southern Californian who has been to San Fran at least a hundred times and to Cobh three times, your comparison is right on. Creative and well done!
Thanks a million Laura Grace for this wonderful video!! What a beautiful and interesting place!! You are a jewel!! Lots of love from Gene in Tennessee.😇😘
I was in Ireland no later than this morning and in Cobh just 5 days ago. I loved this cute town with a lot of (sad😢) history. Thank you for your videos. I have picked a lot of your tips before travelling🩷
The views are breathtaking but speaking of being breathless those hills would kill me. I think I need to stay in Dublin; I know it is not entirely flat here but I have never needed mountain gear to go for a walk. Having said that, the cathedral was beautiful and the boat trip and prison tour look like good ideas.
Cove looks gorgeous and like a fun, interesting place to visit. The view over the wall around 1:34 also looks outstanding. The multiple layers of the grass in front, the layers of the houses, the cathedral, and the water, in combination with the lighting makes that a very nice picture and view. It does seem like that might be like a hidden gem too, probably not being a common picture taking view of that area.
Great video, I am from Cobh myself, However the comment that the Titanic was to big to enter the harbor is incorrect, the harbor itself was and still to this day remains the second largest natural harbor in the world and could easily accommodate the vessel of her size, it was the decision of the owner to not enter the harbor to moor as it would have taken too long enter, board the passengers and leave at the time. the reason behind this was that he was attempting to break the transatlantic speed record for the era.

Love your videos! Thanks for sharing Ireland's hidden gems!
Cracking video Laura, and the US connection was a genius way to theme the video! I loved Cobh when I was there, thanks for the return visit :)

Of course we liked it. Thank you superbly Laura for the video ☺️
Cobh reminds me of St.Johns, Newfoundland, Canada! 🙂
Thank you Laura Grace! I love your videos.
So beautiful place ! I really wanna visit it after watching your video !)
Re: The cathedral... Well, sort of. Ours may not be so grand, but it's in North Beach
Thanks Laura.
Wow! I didn't know that bit about the Titanic. Nice add at the end. Great video. I'd rather go there than San Francisco.

AWSOME AS ALL WAYS..
Nice
Might want to change the title of this video. It's very insulting to Cobh.
