    This is January '23 - my adult daughter and I are planning a 10 day trip in Oct. '23.
    Base of operations-Bantry with family.
    Ending with two days in Dublin with cousins.
    I've watched many of your video guides, Laura. Very informative. Thanks so much.

    2:13 You seem to have taken the Vikings into your heart!
    Cobh is so Norwegian, looks like a more colourful Trondhjem, and Kinsale is so Danish.

    2:38 Irish music like "when the county of Kerry hung high on the cross"?
    Wait, that's _Wexford!_ I recalled the song wrong.
    _"And poor Wexford stripped naked, hung high on a cross"_

      So! Fill me in! How did it go? Did you use any particular towns as base camps?

      @@markbeames7852 it was an absolute fantastic trip! Ireland is beyond beautiful! What I discovered is 10 days is not enough although we did have some moments to slow down (if only for a minute) and soak up the culture. We were able to do that a little in Galway, Athlone, and Belfast. Belfast was our base camp for Northern Ireland, we were able to spend 3 days there. We spent 4 days in Dublin, venturing out a different direction each day.
      On my return trip (someday) I would love to spend more time in Cobh and Cork and in the South of Ireland in general.

    We are planning a 7 day trip ending in Dublin...we're thinking of staying in Kinsale 3 nights so explore Cork, Cobh, Mizen Head, etc.... then 2 nights in Dingle to explore Killarney Nat Park and Dingle. I keep hearing Dingle is very crowded and touristy do you suggest staying in Killarney and taking a day trip to Dingle? Really wanted to stay off the beaten path but finding it may be easier to stay in a centrally located more popular place and explore the off the path places. Any suggestions would be great!! I just started following you and I think I watched every video already, you are really helping us get prepared for our first time in Ireland!

    Wow, I'm so happy to have found you. I have purchased my family flights (in & out of London) but have not planned a thing beyond that. I feel so confused. Ireland has been on my travel list for years and I thought I knew what I wanted to do but our family has changed and grown. I have only a couple of weeks to get a plan together, so thank you for making it both harder and easier to decide.

    Hi Laura, We love your channel and all the wonderful information about your beautiful country. My teen and I are visiting Ireland in March ( I do love the rain, grew up in a rainy climate). Sadly, we only have 7 days there after traveling from the USA. I am having a hard time deciding if I should strart from Dublin to Cork to go N on the WAW or Dublin to Galway and go south. Any suggestions? THANK YOU!

    HI Laura! Thanks for making this video. Is a mask mandate still in place in Ireland? Are they welcoming of American tourists in 2021? Thanks!

    • @Live.Adventure.Travel
      @Live.Adventure.Travel  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey, no prob glad you enjoyed. Yes, masks are still compulsory indoors and on public transport. You can only take part in most indoor activities with proof of vaccination. I do believe once vaccinated American tourists can come in without quarantine once they have a vaccine cert.
