Thd town is a complete rip off,the scenery down there is nice,they would charge you for that if the could,west cork is a far more beautiful place,both drop out centres for alcoholics.
Beautiful little town, the food is amazing there and the pubs do the most amazing pints of the blackstuff.. the people are friendly and the place is crime free.. ye don't get teenage gobshites, or problematic youths or trouble of any kind there.

I was in Dingle in 2015 with a last name of O'Brien it was nice to be at my ancestors origin.
O'Brien is Clare or Thomond ....Dingle is associated with the Fitzgerald,Ferriter and Falvey .
