    I really appreciate your take on diet, especially fats. I agree that animal and fish products are much more related to our organism that was evolved over millions of years. I do not see farmed, hybridized and GMO grains, vegetables, oils, processed carbs of the last five thousand, two hundred, and fifty years as "natural" foods. Although I seldom eat honey, I eat fruit sparingly and only on occasion, usually cran and other berries. Keep up the great work, please !!!

    • @Silphwave
      @Silphwave ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@RandomHuTaoSimp that doesn't make sense. The reason carbs and fats shouldn't be combined is becaue of the Randle Cycle. We can only utilise one energy source at a time. Obviously if you don't care about weight gain, have at it (although there are some short term inflammatory effects of combining them).
      The body will always prioritise burning sugar first, then fat. (Alcohol is always prioritised ahead of both). Which means one of these energy sources will automatically be sent into storage.
      This is why the greatest foods for weight gain combine lots of fats and sugars such as pizza, ice cream, cookies etc
      I haven't eaten seeds oils for 5 years, but can still rapidly gain weight with homemade ice cream, raw milk, kefir honey, cheese, yogurts and fruits.

      The only non animal fat I've seen him say to use is organic extra virgin olive oil. It's also best to make sure the olives are coming from one source and not a bunch of different countries. It has something to do with olives going rancid if they're sourced from multiple locations. Cold pressed is also better. I personally cut my oil with the animal fats for flavor and also the real good olive oil ain't cheap but for health and flavor it's worth it.

    The great advantage of low fat is that cutting the fat intake you are also cutting the omega 6. In a head to head between omega 6 rich and low fat low fat almost always wins. That doesn´t mean low fat is the best you can do, though a low fat deal is helpful from time to time.

      butter comes from cream, which is separated from milk. cream is mostly fat, so It contains less lactose than milk itself.

      @stephenrodriguez7181 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      From other stuff I've seen, if you suffer from lactose intolerance, drink and eat the A2 raw dairy. People with lactose intolerance say it usually doesn't bother them.

    • @dianavaldez3371
      @dianavaldez3371 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Sadly, the majority of people in the US are completely ignorant when it comes to dairy. I’ve studied nutrition for 30 years, so I have a lot of thoughts and a lot to say about the subject. In short though, butter still contains milk solids, so if you’re lactose intolerant, it’s better to eat ghee. The milk solids are almost cooked out of ghee. Also, pasteurized dairy kills lactase which is the enzyme in raw milk. Drinking raw milk can be tolerable for those who are lactose intolerant.
      “Lactase is the enzyme responsible for breaking down lactose into digestible form. Raw milk facilitates the production of lactase enzyme in the intestinal tract, and thus it makes sense that so many people have reported improvements in lactose intolerance from drinking raw milk.”

    Paul, help me clarify. I am not as worried about MTOR. From another’s podcast he clarifies MTOR causes the body to grow. We want it for our muscles. We can also suppress it and then let it spike when we need it. Don’t be afraid of meat. 3 things help suppress MTOR. Intermittent fasting, coffee and exercise. After you exercise than eat your meat. He also expresses that eating carbs can increase your MTOR. He explains if we want to live longer stop eating foods that keeps spiking insulin. Without giving his name in the podcast I will give you a hint. He is also very knowledgeable and has great insight. “Founder “Bullet Proof Coffee”
