Seed oils vs. saturated fat

  • Dr. Paul challenges Dr. Alo's perspective on seed oils and saturated fat. Dr. Alo explains why he's not as concerned about seed oils being a main driver of atherosclerosis and Paul explains why he believes saturated fat has unnecessarily been given a bad wrap when it comes to heart health.

I'm an FNP/ENP (dual board certified Nurse Practitioner) and was an RN for 20 years when COVID started. Me trying to be the voice of calm and reason and presenting the general public with rational thought is the reason I'm off most social media (Facebook mainly). I tried to say the 6ft distance, masking up, lock downs are all BS and not science based and healthy living, (eating right, weight loss, frequent hand washing, etc.) has always proved the right course of action. I was shouted down and called a quack and attacked regularly. So I quit trying to help the general public since they obviously didn't want to listen.
Fast forward to the 2023 Chocrane review and I was proven right. Masking and vax did very little, hand washing and distancing (over 6 feet since it can spread airborne further) were the two highest protecting factors. However what I've been telling my patients for years (and went back to doing mainly since EVERYONE is an expert on FB and other social media). Which is to lose weight, lower you BP, stop smoking, eat right (not vegan or Guberment "guidelines"), exercise, etc. and your risk will go down significantly.

In this case mouse studies are good enough. At the cellular level the difference between mice and humans is trivial. It has been proven that a 20% calorie level of linoleic acid in the mouse diet causes mitochondrial DNA damage as well as mitochondrial damage in general. There is no magic cutoff where for example at 19% this this damage would disappear. It is a distribution and damage occurs at 10% and a small amount at 2%. Why would anyone consume industrial seed oils when saturated fats (animal, coconut) do not have this negative effect on mitochondria? Because LDL goes up? We are back to the LDL quackery and the modern day blood-letting "medicine". If these modern medicine cult clowns care so much about heart disease, then control the agents that oxidize LDL and not engage in anti-medicine pushing reduction of total LDL to dangerous levels (less than 100 mg/dL). The medical institution not only created millions and millions of unhealthy people they have also turned their staff and patients into sickly individuals, especially the ones that have an IQ below a certain level.

That the joker slamming md baker? If yes, bad style. Guys, i hear very fast talking, ím checking play speed repeatedley, erratic eyemovement, wandering attention, awkward smiling, makeup and coloured hair. Nothing bad about anything of it. In combination it comes of very strangeley… could be symptoms.

Alo doesn’t even seem confident in what he’s saying. He seems hesitant. Paul is sharp and does tons of research clearly and has a great argument stance

If you are washing it off, is it really a concern? It is a surfactant.

Such small amounts are absolutely negligible. Linoleic acid is an essential fatty acid, don’t forget that.
