I first heard about these heads from Do IT Yourself Hunter and I ordered them. I also ordered their sharpening stone and after a couple of passes on there honestly be careful because they put that much of an edge on the broadhead
Same..i first see them on Do It Yourself Hunter and Jermey had me sold..hea my favorite channel on youtube along w dan infalt and i respect his opinion. My buudy also uses them an he heard of them from Jeremy too an we both have had quick kills with them. TOTA and Exodus QADs are the only 2 i have desire to use. Slick tricks are good too tho..no complaints other than i gotta put them together 🤨
Dude i cannot get the xl to fly right. My s series 100 grains are spot on with field points at 70 yds... flight looks perfect. The xl does crazy shit every time
I'm going try the tooth of the arrow XL this year.I miss using a 4 blade head and these heads look perfect. BUT .... GUYS, STOP SAYING 4" OF CUT. it's simple math, especially with a 4 blade.Your cut path is 1 and 3/16" PLUS 1 and 3/16". That adds up to approximately 2.4" cut path. That's a GREAT cut path, a little more than most of the popular 2 blade mechanicals.
What kind of bow hunting "Formula" is the guest using/talking about at the 3:25 mark? Where the guest says "If you have 2 blades and the animal is 2 foot wide that's 48" of cut ..... IF you got 4 (Blades) that's 96" of hemorrhage" I need to hear, learn and use any "Formula" or sequence for bow hunting and/or any method of hunting. I have had some old timers throw some method/formula/way too out of their mouths that made me just look at them with a "Huh" look on my face. After these old timers repeat what they said I ask them to clarify or give me an example which sends the old timers into "Story Time" and usually when that happens I am ALL EARS as I try to learn and take in as much as possible so THIS is WHY I am so interested into understanding what the guest is talking about with his "Formula" for judging/purchasing/using certain broadheads
He’s talking about cutting on two dimensions. Four blades which are each in inch, travelling 10” for example will cut a total of 40” of flesh. A 2 blade would cut 20”.
@@StealthTRD the cutting surface of each blade is 1” in length diagonally, the cut diameter of the head is 1”. Two separate metrics which happen to have the same number
I love that joe is shouting out john lusk! Ive been watching him for a few years.. I wont buy a head without watching his review on it.
Best in the business!
Dude I watch John Lusk like every night lol
Been watching him for about 4 years now. His reviews are the best.
Yup, some guys complain, "a deer isn't as hard as a cinder block"😅
And ??, I think it's a great test for a broadhead.
Lol. I bought SEVR broadheads because of him lol

Joe and Cam are talking about these great heads! Good stuff! I love mine and will always have them in my quiver.
Thank you so much for the support!
Love these heads. I shot an 8 pointer and 9 pointer this season in NY. Both clean pass throughs and both only ran 50 yards.
Congrats!
I've seen more than a few guys recommend these. One channel in particular is Do it Yourself Hunter. He loves them and talks them up all the time.
Check out Lusk archery channel. Tests hundreds of heads and a really good source for broadhead info and testing

They are talking about how each blade is an inch long from the point so you have 4” of cutting surface
Exactly
@toothofthearrowbroadheads yea but thats not what matters its the width, outside edge to outside edge that you count. Not length..
Prepare to be sold out!
:)

Yes, he explained it well in the video, just simple math. No story or anything fancy or secret.
@toothofthearrowbroadheads yea but the blades are not each an inch or else that would be a 2 inch cut both ways. These are 1 inch x 2
