one afternoon me and my brother was recurve hunting, he stuck a 6 point under the tree, we lost blood and the deer got away. 2 years later on the same land i was rifle hunting, i killed a 10 point buck, took it to the processer, when it was ready, he said i got your broadhead back too. i said i was rifle hunting. he said the broadhead was by the deer's spine. i asked my brother, what broadhead was you shooting that day on the 6 point? he said a muzzy, i said, i got it back for you.
I have an old man climber just like that my wife bought it for me like 15 years ago and I also hunt with a diamond bow I bought it about 8 years ago. Here in KY we have to wear hunters orange a vest and hat solid orange during Rifle or muzzleloader season
I've been using same climping stand I bought back in the early 90s . ( Buckshot climber brand) Gotta keep care of your things make them last ! Things don't always work out the way we hope .Better luck next hunt !
I been shooting the magnus killer bee 150gr for a couple years now and really like them for the compound and trad high with high foc arrow 560gr comp and 645gr on my trad. Those tooth of the arrow heads are pretty good to though
No i went back the next morning early and the blood was all washed away and dogs couldnt pick up scent. I didn’t mention in video it started raining on me while tracking.
Lots of stuff can go wrong when you're slinging sticks. It sucks but it's part of it. Gun season opens in the morning here so hopefully I'll have some meat in the freezer soon. Oh hey do you have an Instagram or anything else, or you strictly TH-cam?
I have a spirit of the outdoors Facebook page and a Pedens_spirit_of_the_outdoors instagram page. Our gun season opens tomorrow here. Its been muzzleloader private land only for 2 weeks but i hunt public land mostly so i cant take my muzzleloader there till tomorrow.

Maby this one lived too
Brother I prefer the older style equipment much more than the last decades worth of bows. I like my old stuff
Me too.
I have the same stand Old Man original. They grip tree great and are comfortable. Just can justify buying another. Nice job on this today.
Thank you . I like those stands. I have 2 of them

Italian Spinone Dog is a great friend in this situation

Needed to put Rosco on the blood trail. I've lost a nice buck 2 yrs ago.
I was wore slam out by the time i gave up and it rained that night. I took both dogs next morning to that thicket but nothin turned up.

This is my first go with them but it hit some bone in that deer to not have penetrated no deeper than it did and it didnt hurt it
Is that the 1” or xl
You can't get them if you don't try ,It happens to us all sometimes, that's part of bowhunting.
My cousin said “ shoot , maby , no shoot , no maby” lol
Did you get to find your deer .

That's the way it goes some times..that's why they call it hunting.

When you hit an animal high in the back you're not going to find it no matter what Broadhead
I agree
