Wow it is pretty quick haha, i would definitely put new points on it after i got mine going after a long time it ran great first time after filing points, but it kept driving me crazy never ran right again. sure enough the new points solved it, carbs prob fine. cool that they still make the gasket
Yes learned that too. I ended up replacing points, spark plugs, and a newer coil. I also flushed out the whole fuel system replaced most of everything in that too. It runs like a dream now. But if for any reason it runs bad it’s because of the points.
It should be easy to find a used one. All the FF have the same frame and trans axle. If you cant not get one you might be able to Fab an eyelet that bolts to the frame and hangs down and back a bit. No shop these days will make that hole part for you unless you had unlimited $$. Wielding might work. GL cant wait to see it up and running.
Yeah that sounds good mine looks just like that in the way but mine's a magnum 6000 my motor sounds really bad but I have motor from Harbor Freigh in their right now. I want to try to rebuild that motor that's in it it's got a 18 horse Briggs & Stratton and don't have the original motor in it. That's what I was told but anyways thank you for the video

Thanks, yeah it’s running like a champ right now. It’s put in a lot of work recently and it’s a lot of fun.
