    The curve is perfect for LE duty gear too because it cants the top of your gear slightly towards your body. Whereas typical belts heavy items like mags and cuffs and can lean outward under the weight. Especially with blade tech attaching them to the belt.

    Ordered a multicam version yesterday. After tons of research, this belt seemed like the sweet spot. Kinda wish it was 2", but maybe the 1.75" will do fine. The precurve and TAC-LAM was what did it for me.
    Could be improved with built in HK hook and sharpie loops like SubSecond does on their belt, but I can add both.
    I appreciate that this was the only review out there and that you showed up close the belt construction.

    Great video! I purchased one last week. With the belt being less than one 1.75” have you found your Safariland belt loop or your other molle attachments to be too big for the belt? They’re big on mine but I haven’t done any training with it yet. Static they seemed okay but my molle loks on mag carriers can move.

      While I have used Gcode in the past, I currently do not use any Gcode items. My pistol holster is a safariland and I've got the mid drop. can this fit and securely hold standard 2.25" holsters/gear from a normal police duty belt?

    • @SPG1Tactical
      @SPG1Tactical  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I am able to use my safariland holster over this belt. The belt is two layers of nylon webbing thick, so it really depends on how wide the openings are on your holster attachment. But I believe the short answer is yes, it would fit the 2.25" gear, but that still gives the slot .5" of room to move vertically. This more than likely isn't a big issue, but I also run a leg strap to reduce any vertical movement and provide more overall stability to my setup. Hope this helps.

      @SPG1Tactical  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@rctsan808 I do prefer the WTF straps because they are very lightweight and aren't bulky. However because they are straps as opposed to clips, they are a bit more difficult to weave. Thanks for the review. I've been going back and forth between trying out the 5-11 maverick and the HSGI Operator. Can't justify the extra cost for the Operator but liked the two belt liners. Hadn't considered getting the padded liner from HSGI and using it on the Maverick.
    While there are less expensive belts, most seem to allow your gear to slide around or are only captured by an inner belt but the more gear you have the less velcro to secure the two belts. That's why I've been considering the more expensive molle belts. I hear the inner belt makes moving around a lot easier, but figure it would be good to store with a padded belt for that midnight deployment in your boxers because something woke you up.

    • @SPG1Tactical
      @SPG1Tactical  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching! Yeah, the HSGI padded liner is an awesome accessory and does allow for a much quicker donning. I especially like it for being able to wear over a jacket for inclement or cold weather.
      I do agree the liner could be good for a bump in the night setup, but for me personally it's a plate carrier. You can still have extra mags attached and added benefit of some armor. But that may be too bulky or cost prohibitive for some.
      Stay safe, stay smart and stay Tactical my friend

    • @SPG1Tactical
      @SPG1Tactical  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The outer belt doesn't go through your belt loops. The inner belt goes through the belt loops on your pants and the outer belt attaches via the velcro over the belt loops. This allows you to put on and take off the belt quickly while still being secure.
