Just a thought. I noted that there was a blood type patch on one of the belts. As a Combat Medic, an EMT, and an ER Tech, those are virtually pointless. If you're ever in a situation where someone like me is giving you any kind of blood products, I'll be ignoring that patch and doing a type and cross anyway. We don't rely on the blood type provided by the patches or dogtags anymore. There have been too many instances where the wrong blood type was listed. Whether in the field, or in a trauma center, one of the steps in the protocol will be a type and cross. In fact, my field transfusion kits (yes, those are a thing) include a type and cross kit. In the ER, the Physician will be ordering a type and cross automatically, and someone will be drawing blood for it. Use them if you like, but they don't really serve a practical purpose anymore.
It’s so cool and underrated what you did here. This seemingly strange and small obsession over such a small topic just disseminated years and years of trial and error, and unique problem solving strategies. Saved a lot of people a lot of time. Thanks.
Man I remember coming into work and Lee showing me all the new gear he got or is thinking about getting. He was constantly trying out different stuff. He definitely knows how to set up gear.
FYI, the Wilder Tactical "Urban Assault Belt Pad" works well with the Kore (or just about any 1.75" battle belt) for a throw-on-and-go setup, for those days when you may not have belt loops, or pants at all. :) It's loop Velcro on one side, neoprene rubber on the other, and priced well.
I played professional baseball for about 6 years, you are the first person outside the organization I played for to use the term "neurological pathway" I keep telling everyone muscle memory isn't real
One of the best IFAKs I've purchased is the EDC Trauma from Dark Angel Medical. It's a pouch with a vacuum sealed insert. The insert is about the size of a fat wallet. I use them for range stuff and duty. I highly recommend them.

@@TapRackTyler It really did, I was having issues with the one I currently have and made some tweaks with the suggestions in the video and today it’s made a huge difference! Thank you!
Solution for inner/outer problem- use your inner belt as a regular belt. I do. Mine is from Snake Eater Tactical, and it's made from hypalon material. Besides being the thinnest and lightest inner belt I've ever used, it's also incredibly strong and secure. Used it once out of necessity (couldn't run d my dretss belt for a date) and never looked back. And hey, if i need to throw a battle belt on for any reason, I'm always ready.
Put some 100 mph tape on the kydex knife sheath to help reduce the amount of dust going in on that edge, if it gets cut up it’s easy enough to replace.
I usually rock a kore belt and battle belt. But with idaho weather, you never know how many layers you'll need. I've got an ATS padded belt, an inner belt, and suspenders coming in today, and im excited to try them out. It came out to be about $100 for all 3 items and ATS has been making the padded belt for years. Lots of videos of guys who were in Iraq with them. And the padded belt on its own is $50. I was thinking the HSGI but damn, over $100 just for the belt, $50 for suspenders, and $30 for the inner belt was a bit much.
Awesome man love my Kore belt too! I’m curious how the ATS belt holds up so lease lmk when able! Also thank you for all the great input! I appreciate the support! 🤘🏼
For the belt that you modified with velcro, I’m curious if you have ever ran into the issue of the velcro ungluing itself from the plastic. I haven’t caught the battle belt bug, all my years of training I have used 5.11 operator belt that wears like a regular belt. Different strokes, I hear you though. I would hate to hate to take everything off all the time, especially if training a lot. But if it works for you that’s all that matters brother, appreciate the input!⚡️
I shoot rifle left handed, and pistol right handed.. so not sure if I should still go with drop leg holster on my right side or if that is too valuable real estate for my rifle mag pouches.
This is tricky, I would say stick with the holster on the right, use the ‘True North Concepts Modular Holster Adapter’ as it takes less molle space. I would put the holster at my 2 o’clock, then put rifle pouche right behind it.
This may be a dumb question, but how to you keep things from moving around on the black belt? Since there's no MOLLE, what is keeping everything in place instead of sliding around on the belt?
There’s no actually right correct way but a smart way that I think is having it on your support side, that way if you were ever fighting for your gun with someone you have your support hand to grab your knife while you’re dominant hand is protecting your gun. The first belt.. your using the buckle wrong, its a roll pin buckle, just like on the blackhawk riggers belt!
Wrong is a pretty strong word there guy. In the video I actually say I can run it fast in the way I show it OR I can tighten it down using the buckle. Two ways to skin the same cat.

Got the whole tool costume going. Ball cap, sunglasses, trendy beard, tight shirt, tattoos and skinny jeans. Only ignorant people wear sunglasses when speaking to others, need an example Joe Biden and cops.
Lmfaoo so sunglasses when talking directly into the sun for better lighting is a no go due to being ignorant? I can’t with this comment 😂🤡
I cant even afford one Battle belt, I have to use a hillbilly rope belt, with old pants pockets attached to it, for pouches. $50. to $350. or more for battle belts, us poors cant afford stuff like that. on top of it being highway robbery.

Basically learn to sew and make your own
