With our goal to sell, the trailer was emptied during and after the process.

I don’t where this home is, but I’ve come to the conclusion that the freeze/thaw cycle is really hard on manufactured homes from colder or very rainy areas. Especially older ones! I was surprised to see a MH in my area built in 1968. The pictures were cute obviously it had been through some Reno’s in its lifetime, but was still alive and well in 2022.. Southern MH’s live along time in warm dry weather. Mine is newer and fully dry walled. It doesn’t feel like a MH at all. All in all you did a nice job and someone without a lot of money has a home now thanks to your efforts.

Yes, this one definitely had a better life living in the South. The snow is so hard on everything! Thank you for your thoughtful comment, we hope you enjoyed the video!

looks to be a double wide trailer , hope they can put most of the freshly renoëd stuff back together after they split the two halves for transport and set it back up
might had been nicer to the next owners to leave the strip of flooring in the center ungleud so they can cover over the connectionseam after they put the trailer on the new spot
prolly be a good idea to leave them the left over paint too for touchup

      It’s not a double wide😁

(i dunno some things that where just nice to wear are getting a bit weird nowadays )

After watching this entire video from end to end I can attest that I wil Never own a manufactured home. And sure as hell wouldn't take on remodeling one. Good job ! I hope the sale price is more than you expect to get. Good Job !!

Thanks man! And yeah it’s ridiculous how these things are made 👎🏼 we are glad to be living in a bus 😉

wat they do over here is tear down the whole trailer down to the frame , or just buy the frames and basicly put a wooden building on top of it
the realy large ones are two floors and come a part in 4 sections : www.bouwservicerose.nl/woonwagens.php
you could offcourse just put down a foundation and build on that but theres a tax excemption thing here that makes it more profitable to build it as sumting "moveable"

@@watahyahknow interesting! I think we will stick with our bus though, we’re pretty invested

They are better now. I live in a 2008, and it’s completely dry walled, hate the old style plastic walls, they’re the worst. I don’t feel like it’s manufactured at all. It just feels like a house. All 1400 square feet. Of course, I live in warm dry Southern California, where rot isn’t very prevalent. I’m sure they last a lot longer here. Lots of people do remodel them and live happily in them.
