This was so lovely to watch. I’m most impressed by Ellie. I had no idea you were pregnant for more than half the video. Any mention of another baby, I figured you meant that you were definitely planning to have another soon but didn’t realise you already had one on the way! Your energy, mood and can do attitude are even more impressive to me as someone who struggled so much mentally through my pregnancies.
I also greatly admire your fun, relaxed attitude to life and parenting.
Your bold and quirky color and design choices were so refreshing. So many people play it ‘safe’ (myself included) but you picked things you truely loved and went for it.

Everytime either yall or the family remodels anything, I get so many ideas to try and do. And those girls are artists and Ellie would make a great interior decorator. She has an eye for colors. Great job and those barn doors are fabulous,.

This house is full of love and the house is a clean large refuge to start a new generation of loving family. Watched twice to appreciate their sweet yet strong determination to built a safe up to date strong personal foundation of the house. The whole family is so good, close and helpful. You know… I wish all families were as loving and close as them.

I really enjoy watching all the creative ideas ideas, the innovative recycling, and the family team work. Having watched watched a lot of tiny home builds, I understand that the tile no-no is the potential for it cracking when the mobile is moved from one location to another. Since this mobile isn't going anywhere, you should be fine. Garen and Ellie are fun to watch. I would love to see more on the projects they do on this property and to watch their growing family interactions.

We did this with my daughter's room but we painted the blades to the ceiling fan to the primary and secondary colors to really brighter the room up! Lol. Love the yellow! Lol

It’s really cool how you refinished the ceiling fan, what a great idea, the artwork is awesome for the baby. It is lovely property. Manufactured homes are put down so much, and it is a shame. I grew up in mobile homes as my father served his country in the USArmy. We moved a lot. Our homes were well built, warm in harsh winters, cool in hot summers, well designed and easy upkeep. I appreciate how loving and sweet you are to each other! Wonderful!

I loved watching this re-cap of all the work you guys did on the trailer home that Ellie grew up in. It is so much better now! I hope you have enjoyed all the upgrades you did to it. I love the barn doors in the master bedroom. Have you worked more on the van conversion? Did you get the solar panels set up for it now? I'd love to see you guys take a trip with it and the two girls! I really like that concrete pad you made for the wood stove too. Have a Happy New Year! Garen & Ellie, I watched last weeks memorial and my heart was broken for you all. I have often wondered how you and your sweet family has been, I truly understand you stepping away from media and putting the girls out there. Life is to precious to feel that you're too exposed.

Wow, you guys put in so much hard work and did an amazing job! My parents helped build and remodel the house that I grew up in and much of my family was in painting and construction. I also helped with the remodel as a teenager, so I get it. I ended up studying Interior Design for a few years in college. You guys have done such an amazing job and your family coming together was so special. It pains me to say this...and I went back and forth about just keeping my mouth shut because my goal is always to lift people up or help in some way. I'm going to say what nobody wants to...those flat, color-blocked, blue and green paint colors clash and ruin the effect of all the amazing work you guys have done. It's hard to even look at. Jeez, I know I'm being harsh but the wall in a visible space should be the same except, the occasional accent wall. With all the browns and reds in your decor, the walls should really be painted a soft neutral. With that said, the only people that have to love it are you. You can ignore my advise or tell me where to go and how to get there. I wouldn't blame you. Sincerely, I am just trying to help. I wish you and your beautiful family all the happiness that life has to offer. At 43, I've never married and couldn't have children and admire what you have built. 💙 --Jessica from Florida 🌞

Shelly and Ellie are so alike they are fantastic, amazing, brilliant ladies, we can all see how Ellie is just so grateful for all the upgrades you both do and like Shelly she don't (not that we see in these video's anyway) ask for anything and I think that with all the upgrades you two have done the kitchen would be the icing on the cake so to speak.
