    Just a few things to note, setting certain summons to having a non-neutral disposition will make them able to apply flanking if you use that optional rule.
    In the Midi-Qol settings you very much also want apply item effects instead of apply convenient effects set.
    Midi-Srd shouldn't be explicitly incompatible there is just a lot of overlap. In fact you can even configure the medkit button to pull automations from that module as well and set a priority of where to source the automation.
    When using the medkit to update an automation it'll keep your old description it doesn't pull them from anywhere. D&D Beyond importer fills those in when going that route.
    Your magic missile automation appears to still have the Automated Animations for it turned on, the animation from the macro should properly target the correct targets.
    It's also worth noting that I recommend filling in the descriptions in the generated journal entry so items such as the tentacle attack get a description.
    I noticed you were using VAE but didn't turn on the integration with it, when enabled it'll fill in the effect description from the item as well as add buttons to certain effects.
    You'll also get much fancier animations when also using Animated Spell Effects: Cartoon for many of the items that say the animations are from Eskiemoh.
    Lastly I recommend turning on auto accept warpgate mutations in the Warpgate settings as well.

    I love hearing the weapon and spell sounds that I put together a while back within this video. I remember ripping tons of those sound effects from Dota 2 and they honestly fit so naturally I forget about it sometimes lol. Glad to see it featured in such a great official video. Just used this guide to make an amazing automated vtt for my friends :)

    What is it you're using that allows you to roll up text like that? that's so handy and looks wonderful! I had an addon ages ago but it was discontinued.

      It's a bit harder because not everything works out of the box like the dnd5e options. At least, that's my understanding. You don't have things like Chris's Premades and MidiQOL and others for the pf2e system.
      With that said, anyone reading this comment that thinks a suite of modules IS established for pf2e, please let us know!

    Amazing work! Any way to select multiple targets with Magic Missile? Scorching Ray and similar spells seem to allow for it, but they have attack rolls so perhaps that's the critical factor.

    Great video, I notice that you have both Visual Active Effects and DFred's Convenient Effects on the list. I've noticed that they both put an indicator of any active effects/conditions in the upper right corner of the VTT, I haven't found a way to disable that visual indicator on either module, the best that I can do is have VAE move further down the screen. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks!

      No, that's from DFreds Effects Panel. Source: I am DFreds haha. You should use one or the other.

    I think you made this before the DND5e update....is there anything MAJOR you would do different because of the new ruleset? And if there is,m is it worth an updated video?     I know a lot of your focus is on D&D 5e related modules. Could you do a video or make some suggestions for Pathfinder 2e equivalent or a way to do something similar for automation? Some key modules for this video seem to be specifically for 5e. Would just love to see some more vids like this utilizing PF2e, or what can be done with it.

    Great video! This helped me a lot. One thing I am having trouble with is that I am getting double prompts for dialog options. For example, when I use divine smite, a dialog box will pop up asking me what level I want to use it at, but there's two of these boxes that pop up. Any suggestions to fix this. I am using Argon's DND5e HUD. I looked through the settings and couldn't find anything, but I guess I am not sure what I am looking for. Any advice would be awesome!

      It sounds like you're using Midi QOL for combat automation. One piece of advice is to use a module called Find the Culprit. It will help you isolate exactly which module is causing these problems

    Is there a way to fully import all of Chris' premades into characters NOT imported from DDB or that were created without any previous automation? I have some vanilla characters I would like to automate but the ChrisPremade icon is not appearing at the top of their character sheet, so I have to go to each ability and spell and manually reconcile. Am I missing something?

    Hi I was wondering if it is possible to do this but without importing the character from DDB, since me and my players sadly don't have access to every piece of content and therefore are unable to use most races and some classes/subclasses. It would be very nice if you were able to help me with that.

    hi this guide is really wonderful, thanks, it helped me a lot in setting up foundry. I have a question about midiqol, I created an actor and a message appears asking me to set the death state in the mechanics. as per the guide I set the player pins to unconscious and death for the monsters but why is it asking me to set it to death?

    That's super helpful. This is gonna come across as a bit cheapskate of me, but how much would you estimate you pay monthly to Patreons and the similar for access to all of the advanced features on these?
    I already support Mr Primate with his tools as I've found it so useful (as well as a few others ), but I (like many others) have a really limited budget, so have to pick and choose what and who I can support as a regular payment.

      I'm not sure you need to pay ANYONE long-term or anything. All Baileywiki content is optional, and you can dip in and out to scoop up updates. Ripper's premium modules continue to work after you unsubscribe. Chris's premades and others are also downloaded once and keep working.

    This is super cool, but what are your opinions on the gamification of ttrpgs? Ive heard many people say that they don't like playing dnd online because it limits your imagination and choices you can make. Improvisation and homebrew become much more difficult in systems like this, do you have any thoughts on this?

    Maybe it's my settings, but when you mention the Alternative Pause Icon, whatever you are trying to show is not on the screen (your mouse goes below what is visually available.)

    A question though, going through the premades list no one has created one for mage hand but there is a premade for Bigbys hand, these seem very similar, how hard or where would I even start creating or adapting for mage hand ?

    Following this guide I had completed installing the modules listed below, however when I went to go tamper with setting as advised here, I noticed that Chris's Premades was not in my modules setting post launch, prior to running the server however I do see it in my installed modules. I am using Forge for my Foundry server, and I attempted direct installation of the modules and DnD5e system through manifest URLs and have had no success in it appearing so that I can modify the settings, any recommendations?

      I would wait. Depending on your module needs, it will take a couple weeks for these devs to react. I haven't seen a list of modules that are affected. Have you?

    When I uninstalled DAE as you suggested because I'm using Chris's premade, it disabled midi QOL and won't let me re-enable it with that module not installed.

      Hey there! The module that shouldn't be installed is the DAE-*SRD*, not DAE itself. You still need DAE installed and activated, sorry if that wasn't clear.

      I had the same issue. What I did was go and update all my installed modules. Then I made active Chris's Premade and it automatically made all the other modules active as part of its dependency.

    Man, SOOO many of these things just aren't working. Ever since they released the brand new update to 12, some of these things have NOT been updated. Including Chris's and MidiQoL. =(
    What should I do?

      You should really wait to update. Or roll back your update. It was a huge change and will take the devs a few weeks to refactor.

      Much of it is working with 3.0 actually. I can't tell you exactly what modules or specific features are broken though. We will probably do another video once we have a full handle on it.
