I cant believe i have to say this: thook ka jawab rape nai hota guys. If someone disrespects you by spitting in ur face, u spit right back. I can’t believe we’re actually having this discussion. There is absolutely NO justification for sexual assault. Rape isn’t something which just happens in “ghussa”. Ya’ll(not hassan and amna lol) must’ve lost your minds if you think there is an equivalence between badtameezi and rape.
Even if it doesn’t end up being rape, a big lanat on GEO for even insinuating it, and using it for TRPs specially in a country like Pakistan where the majority doesn’t even believe in the concept of marital rape, because it is the “husbands haq”. What a disgrace this whole thing has become, tauba.

It’s not really shocking people are justifying this. Forced sex is not considered to be a bad thing in our society, especially in the confines of marriage, it’s seen as a man’s right. Also plus the fact they showed her character spitting at her husband, people will say he has a right to react how he wants because she disrespected him first, in fact people will want him to have behaved much worse with her. I’m still confused though - if Meerab dislikes him so much, why not leave the marriage?! These forced marriages being romanticised or glorified are getting on my nerves. This is like some 395 days/15 shades of grey (never watched that but know what it’s about and how much women loved that rubbish) se.xual creepy fantasy type drama and our naive dumb audiences are lapping it up & enjoying it!

Did he or not is not even the question now....using marital rape as a cliffhanger in itself is problematic and triggering. Even after knowing how much we as audiences are attached to the show emotionally...they should have been a little more responsible...but expecting this from the writer in itself is hilarious. They have no idea how traumatized we feel after watching this...ridiculous...

The recent episode has literally TRAUMATIZED me... Some people who are saying " there's no such thing called as marital r*pe in shaadi or nikaah "... Think about the female fans of this show who are unmarried how much fear will be instilled in their heart after watching their favorite character doing (or just click bait for trp) such heinous act and I'm definitely one among those fans.. Whether it's a fictional character or not... Watching these kind of acts will definitely make fans DISTURBED and VULNERABLE....

I completely agree that any type of physical assault is completely unjustified 10000%. But with all due respect i have an objection on your statement where you have said that unmarried women could be traumatized from this which i don’t necessarily disagree, but would like to add that equally unmarried men watching this drama could also assume the worst in a woman/potential future wife that she can go around totally crossing boundaries like slapping her husband and spitting on him which people are seeming to ignore here. All im saying is to call a spade a spade and where someone has done something wrong they should be called out for it too.. murtasim yanking her arm and potentially assaulting her is totally wrong but what meerub has done is also completely unjustifiable.

what shocks me the most is that nooran makhdoom went about (and is still going about) giving interviews fangirling over murtasim while she knew exactly what she had written. she knew exactly how the character would take shape. as recently as a week ago when she gave an interview to maliha after the 44th episode, she said murtasim was her fav character and that she loves the qualities he has!! what guts my god!!! hassan this is not the case of clever writing and dumb audience, this is the case of incapable people telling stories they cannot wrap up in a good way. why she decided to end her story this way and not with meerab becoming a lawyer with the support of her husband is mind boggling to me. jis khwaab ke toot jaane ki wajah se woh ladki pyaar nahi kar paa rahi murtasim se, uss khwaab ke baare mein nooran hi bhool hi gayin. must say, GREAT WRITING!!!

While I was extremely disturbed thinking how could they show a character like Murtasim doing Rape, my mother actually thought that he was right as Meerub crossed all her limits and hurt his ego. I was extremely annoyed by my mother's justification for a alleged rape but then I understood this is what we call soft influencing or manipulating people to actually make them justify heinous acts by degrading other person's character as if she actually deserved what happened with her.
Everyone was made to love Murtasim's character to such an extend that we are actually trying our best to justify his act in our mind in the best possible way even if it means normalising slapping a girl or raping her.
i don't want to say it but it truly represents the deep rooted ideology pakistani people have regarding girl's rights and a husband's rights on his wife.
I know alot of people will say that don't watch the show if u have so many problems but today I am actually regretting the day I started watching Tere Bin bcoz no matter what I can't justify rape even if it is done by a very loving, caring and handsome character like Murtasim.

You guys are SO WRONG in saying that Murtasim is not a toxic hero.
He was always a HUGE RED-FLAG.
    1) He never maintained his distance with Haya. She has always been so touchy with him. Why he never gave a shut-up call to her in clear words?
He can't see Meerab talking with another man , how the hell does he expect his wife to be okay with his closeness with Haya?
    2) He never trusted Meerab. Every misunderstanding they had, has been cleared by a third person. He so easily believed every lie Haya told him. Why does he trust her so much? Even though he knows how much she has tortured Meerab?
    3) Haya literally tried to kill his wife, what did he do?
    4) Asking your wife to jump from roof is not love!!!! Stop glorifying violence in the name of love.
    5) Even if he doesn't rape Meerab, the way he closed the doors insinuated that. That was TRIGGERING. PLEASE TELL YOUR CAHNNELS TO PUT TW IN THEIR CONTENT.
How can you even show a hint of his decision to rape a person he claims to love? THIS IS NOT LOVE.
    6) He just wants a wife who listens to him without any thoughts of her own, the minute Meerab starts expressing her opinions he tells her to shut-up. This is not love.

Violence of any sort is never justifiable. Meerab slapping Murtasim should be condemned, I am appalled at Amna being “ok with Meerab slapping Murtasim” especially since she created a huge uproar after Murtasim slapped Meerab earlier in the drama. Amna mentioned “spitting thoda zada hogaya”. The word “thoda” is dismissing the level toxicity in Meerab’s actions. Tere Bin team has created new standards of toxicity that will be replicated multiple times in future projects. Be prepared for characters spitting at each other in our dramas. Thanks to Tere Bin team for creating these new stands; how very unfortunate that a brilliant actress like Yumna Zaidi performed this act and this is somewhat responsible for starting this disgusting legacy. Meerab shouldn’t have slapped and spat at Murtasim. Period. I don’t know whether or not the marital rape will happen or not but I’m here to condemn what Meerab did to Murtasim. These cringeworthy actions shouldn’t be shown on TV and shouldn’t be taken lightly at all by saying “I’m ok with slap” or “spitting thoda zada hogaya” especially coming from experts drama critics like you two. If the tables were turned and Murtasim had slapped and spat at Meerab, we would have seen the feminist sides of Aamna and Hassan, this conversation would have been very different. With regards to potential marital rape, there is absolutely no rationalization for that level of criminal behavior especially after sensualizing their romance and glorifying Murtasim’s character for frigging 40 episodes. Anwar didn't accept her as daughter, never stood up for her, Murtasim suggested to marry off her somewhere to get rid of her ,didn't respect her dreams, Maa begum denied her dream of being a lawyer and forcefully married her to murtasim whom she hated. Maryam had the audacity to love someone and run away when she knew the feudal system, meerub got blamed because of her, haya is behaya from the start. KHANS turned strong ,daring Meerub who used to stand up for women's right into miserable , helpless Meerub. Waqas should have never given Meerub to KHANS.

Murtasim wasn't at fault in the beginning, he didnt force her to get married to him she accepted it on her own when she knew her old family wouldn't accept her. He never stood in the way of her dreams, he even said she could go to law college after marriage marriage. And mariyams marriage oh god how do people not realize that what meerab did was not okay even if she didn't know it was malik zubair. Ghar ki larki ko bhagana with a guy she BARELY knows dosen't know anything about his background and the way he seemed sus since the beginning he didnt even once come to mariyams house to ask her hand in marriage. How could she be so dumb to not realize those red flags? She literally believed on a complete stranger instead of her husband.

@who cares Meerub agreed to marry murtasim because Maa begum forced her to marry. If she didn't marry then she wouldn't be allowed to stay in Anwar's house. She clearly said " agar ye Mera baap ka Ghar Hota toh yaha Rehne ke liye tumse shaadi nehin Karni padti".
Meerab clearly knew about murtasim's anger issues, so she put that in her contract to protect her from murtasim. You can clearly see the consequences of murtasim's anger issues in recent episode. She was clearly denied of being lawyer from murtasim and Maa begum. Um sorry, but actors have very little control over the writing. You forget they have a contract with channels/ production house and they can't risk breaching their contracts by refusing to do scenes even when writers/ PH/ Channel refuse to change the content on actors requests. Most actors are expected to just carry out the script as instructed, especially in case of tv where scripts change all the time and tv actors are not given full script of entire show before signing contract. When it comes to scenes, it is the people who write the content and given approval for it to be aired who are responsible, the actors have little to no say and often actors requests to make changes to scripts are ignored.

She pary to Allah, and then she should know Allah gives a specific place and respect for her husband, but no, she continuesly insulting him some time indirectly and some time directly.. both yumna and wahaj have done tremendous jobs with their characters, and the writer is also reality..this is the reality of our society.. when we respect women, she becomes rebelled, and when any woman wants to live on her own conditions, men show typical etiquette..so the drama is close to reality.. everyone should accept the reality and take this as darama

  • @zunairazubair2268
    @zunairazubair2268 ปีที่แล้ว +57

Meerab's slap was justified because if she is even found near a man (Rohail's apartment), she is dragged out, the man beaten up and held at gunpoint, she is asked to jump from the terrace to prove her innocence, etc. But when the roles are reversed, Murtasim wants Meerab to trust him while Haya walks away. Isn't it frustrating that while Murtasim wants Meerab to cut ties with Rohail, Haya is living with them in the same home, keeps plotting against them, and is conveniently forgiven? This actually is unfair to Meerab, barring she should have given Rohail that shut-up call long ago that Murtasim has repeatedly given to Haya. But then the most close she has been shown with Rohail is when he held her hand and Murtasim couldn't stand it. On the other hand, Murtasim despite knowing Meerab's hatred for Haya, took her to the village with him and then was trying to get the dirt out of her eyes, and this time Haya hugged him. This should also be good enough for Meerab to lose it because Haya again walks out freely.
BUT... NONE OF THIS WILL JUSTIFY EVEN THE INTENT OF MARITAL RAPE! That's dismantling Murtasim and his character has raised the bar too high. As Aamna said, there is no redemption. The promos are out and we are losing it but still want to believe we are being misled (which is an equally heinous act).
Either he did it or Bakhtu and the squad somehow ended up killing Rohail and Meerab found out after she confessed her love to Murtasim and then told him she hated him and would never forgive him for this.
The silver lining: I am happy to see a good lot of people condemning the act and even the intent, especially on Twitter.

@@zunairazubair2268 I still feel both slaps we're not justified. Would a husband slapping his wife because he thought she had an affair be justified (inspite of various reasons for why him thinking that does not make any sense)? No it won't. But would a woman slapping a man because he was pushing her and yelling insults at her be justified? Yes, even if not justified, things like this have been normalized. Add to that the spitting. And if we go by that Murtasim has more valid reasons to think Meerub has feelings for Rohail than Meerub has to think Murtasim is involved with Haya. She knows haya knew about Malik Zubair, and hence is aware of exactly how low she could go. Murtasim has clarified his stance with Haya (that he sees Haya as a sister) multiple times and reassured Meerub that there is only space for her in his life. Moreover Murtasim literally was intent on marrying Haya off to Naurez a few days back. She was the one trying to convince him not to, but he did not listen. But yes, Murtasim was wrong in being so lenient with Haya.

    • @zunairazubair2268
      @zunairazubair2268 ปีที่แล้ว +4

@@SKumar-os2ne Yes, both were unjustified. I am speaking in terms of the larger scheme of things. With Meerab being already slapped when she was having a meltdown and with the recent turn of events in which her husband is not willing to trust her but then caught every now and then in close proximity to his cousin, the frustration and anger in Meerab made sense. So if it was ok for Murtasim to slap her earlier and even ask her to jump off the roof, it was ok for Meerab to slap him as well.
Yes, Meerab has not confirmed her love for Murtasim but not for once she indicated having any feelings for Rohail either. And she is not the sort of person who'd hide her feelings. Regarding the recent meetup with Rohail, it seemed ok in the sense that they were meeting at a public space and she was not alone with Rohail as Saba was also there. If Meerab should be away from Rohail because he expresses his feelings for her, then Murtasim should also stay far away from Haya as she too openly confesses her love for Murtasim and even threatens his wife that she will snatch Murtasim from her. So why is only Meerab put through the trial each time? Why is she expected to trust him but when it comes to him, she can't even meet friends at a restaurant?
Whatever Rohail has done, he hasn't been a threat to Murtasim and he can get rid of him any time. But Haya even let Meerab fall off the stairs (which could have been life-threatening), she did black magic, and much more. Rohail is in another city but here is a woman constantly scheming, plotting, eavesdropping, and still being dealt with leniency. I'd like to see what Murtasim does to Haya the next morning, and I am expecting nothing but just some harsh words. She isn't his sister and Meerab too has repeatedly asked him to stay away from Haya.

I’m surprised that all along she thought that it was the contract that was stopping him where it was actually his niceness that he respected her wishes. And after giving us this one perfect hero, the writer decided to throw him down to where he can’t ever be redeemed. Seems like the writer had the intention of ending the drama with the audience loving Meerab hence they made Murtasim do something as disgraceful and disgusting as marital rape - all to gain sympathy and likeness from audience for Meerab.

As an Indian, I have detested saas bahu serials and hardly ever watched them.
Zee zindagi came as a breath of fresh air with serials like ZGH and Humsafar.
I started watching Pakistani dramas regularly. There was hardly any story like these two shows but atleast it wasn’t so long and ended in 22-23 episodes.
Suddenly, Pakistani drama makers discovered TH-cam and realised they can generate more money through views. Thus, the downfall started. Most of them started dragging to 40 episodes, some to 50 with hardly 4-5 fresh scenes and filled with flashbacks & recaps.
Then came dramas like Mere humsafar, extremely problematic and dragged, solely depending on the lead pair chemistry.
That downfall has spiralled down to this today. A Marital rape. Wow.
Last good drama I saw was Yakeen ka Safar. Don’t think I will be able to watch new dramas now unless they are over and reviewed outstanding

I'm going to be forever disgusted with Murtasim if really raped Meerab. He already messed up by beating Ruhail. I mean Ruhail is annoying but he did nothing except being a brat. He never really forced Meerab into anything other than showing his white board. And this cheap gimmick of makers using a serious issue like rape as a cliffhanger is really a low thing to do. It really shows that audience has lost interest in their worthless stretching drama.

Exactly. He had no right to send people to hit rohail. Whatever rohail did it's not even 10% of what behaya has been doing from the inception of the drama. If he can be patient with behaya he can ignore rohail as well. He was just an annoying roadside Romeo and nothing more and he seems to genuinely care for meerab and have never even thought of physically harming anyone to get what he wants.

Heartbreaking. HEARTBREAKING if Murtasim really does it. This is not the Murtasim we know. This is not the Murtasim Wahaj and Yumna talked about during their interviews. My heart is not ready to accept it. Murtasim will never force himself on her. He CAN’T. It doesn’t make any sense. The whole hook point of the show is CONSENT and the damn contract. They can’t spoil it like this. They can’t ruin murtasim and meerub’s love story like this.Murtasim is a character which is going to be remembered for a long time. We have loved him from episode one till episode 46, we have cherished his character in his sad and happy moments. We have cherished the way he has loved and protected meerub from his family and outsiders. His logical and caring side, his humanitarian stance, him forgiving his enemies, him respecting her boundaries, him gluing that goddamn contract. I refuse to believe that murtasim will fall so low. I won’t be able to see them or ship them ever again. Everything, every scene we have cherished will feel like a betrayal. My heart still believes that the promo is misleading. He hasn’t done it.
There is no, literally NO justification for martial rape. Even if it’s performed from our favorite character/actor.

Great comments. Marital issue is not in Islam n Pakistan. Islam believes in the mutual agreement of the two party for married life and if anyone of them is not agree so they can willingly aparted. But Islam doesn't allow any such couple to have a paper relationship under one roof. The writer is a psychopath. She needs to study religion before writing any such sensitive issues. Our girls and boys are not like this . They believe in their religious teaching which are according to nature of human being. There is no room for marital rape. No concept there fore this point should not be related to Islam.

    • @misbahkhan9546

In my opinion if we see the total background of what meerub has been doing uptill now,
she hasn't done anything to gain trust of Murtasim. Signed the contract, keep meeting male friend who is in love with her knowing well the disliking of murtasim, kept meeting malik zubair, kept annoying murtasim, then above all behen ko bhagwa dia. And still no remorse.
And now she comes and slaps and spits on his face knowing full well how Haya is.
NOW IM NOT JUSTIFYING RAPE but as we have seen Murtasims CHARACTER which is authoritative given his social standing, it is quite obvious that a person like him in real life will do the same. Right or wrong, we all KNOW that these kinda people ARE like this. They have shown the sad reality in the drama.
They have shown what really happens with things going on like this. It happens all over the world. They have shown the male ego going nuts.

As a fan of Murtasim’s character I would like to believe that nothing will happen but understanding the psychology n minute details shown throughout the series the upbringing n ideals of murtasim will not let the slap and spitting slide so easily. He has been always told by everyone that he is the head of family, ki uski marzi chalegi aur uska hukkum sb ko manna padega n the parts where murtasim is shown handling the matters of the panchayat and everything related to Zubair Malik there is a greater probability that in his pent up sexual frustration n the anger of the insult by his wife he will commit the unforgivable. Because at the end it all comes down to who is more in power. And murtasim finally sending his hunchmen behind rohail is something which tells me he is done with meerab’s shenanigans. And the next episodes will break hearts either way as we all were expecting the drama to come down to discussing the issues n making up between the protagonists but clearly that’s not gonna happen😞 (if somehow they scream their frustrations n make up I would be the happiest but I doubt that after the final look of the character as he closed the door )Disappointed because murtasim was so beautifully portrayed as the ideal alpha male that it would be unforgivable and hard to digest if he assaults his ‘hampalla’. Waiting with bated breath for the next episode. Fingers crossed 🤞

HORRIBLE is the word for TB today...not exaggerating but the last few minutes gave me chills...I was in state of shock, I was numb, I felt disgusted like what the fcuk I was watching. Was that the same TB that I've been watching for last 5 months. Damn it. The writer threw it in gutter.
First, meerub slapping murtasim and SPITTING on him was a big NO. It was DISGUSTING and very uncomfortable to watch...in return what murtasim did, was beyond my imagination. I couldn’t even react to what murtasim was about to do. It was HORRIBLE. Forget about the promo or forget if he actually did it or not but those few minutes were the most disturbing part of this drama.
IF IF IF he does what we are all fearing then He would not be our hero but would become a criminal in my eyes. For last 45 episodes I was rooting for him, I loved him but those few seconds made me to hate him. The writer has succeeded in whatever she wanted to show... I have zero sympathy for meerub too...she's a worst character ever written. I could've still tolerated her slapping him but SPITTING was just unacceptable but as always Nooran wanted to show that meerub provoked him so just to justify murtasim's act, she first made meerub to SPIT on him. BUT AGAIN CREDIT TO THE THE WRITER FOR HER CONSISTENCY, there was a scene where murtasim tells meerub "MERE ANDAR KA JANWAR MAT JAGANA MEERUB" and see Nooran makhdoom did that...she made him a monster👏👏
    TB has fallen from grace.
the writer, the director and the producers are accountable for this and how yumna and wahaj agreed to doing this SH*T.
    TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE.
And for those who are saying that murtasim wouldn't do that...we should wait till the episode comes. I like to tell them, doing it is another step, but the dialogue he said and the way he closed the door...At that moment, as a viewer, I was numb and could not process and I'm still unable to. I can’t imagine the character, Meerab must have felt. Btw by the new promo it's quite evident that murtasim has assaulted her.
And even IF he does not do that, they have still ruined our experience as viewers with sensationalism by leaving the episode on that note just for sake of TRPs and some more views. Is that how they are going to make millions of views and make it trend?? And did they actually need to do this??!! RIDICULOUS
HOW ON EARTH was it okay for a woman writer to even think of putting such a scary scene?!
The whole scenario was sooo soo disappointing and frustrating!
I highly condemn it...this is not a drama that needed to be celebrated like this so disappointed with Wahaj and Yumna.
It's wahaj's drama, he's been leading it, people are showering love on him because of murtasim...how could he agree to this, didn't he realise the same people who are loving him would start Hating him as murtasim??!! He was one of the best ML characters that turned into worst. The onus is on the actors too.
PS. Aamna my comment would've been even more bitter than it is if I hadn't read you tweets. I think you have spoken to the director and that's why you were calming people down. I hope that murtasim doesn't do this but even making it look like he had raped her is disgusting.

Aamna, I don’t think Murtasim was in lust with Meerub ever because if that was so, he had so many chances to get physical with her but he never attempted. And that last scene where he got so many flashbacks about that agreement. I think that was so because he just came back after seeing Meerub with Rohail and thought that probably Rohail was the reason that Meerab came up with that agreement.
Murtasim is truly in love with her. Again that rage and aggression in his personality made him the criminal here. Meerab is equally culprit here, he pushed him to this extent that he lost himself.
Irony is that Tere Bin has worst writing but brilliant actors. There are hundreds of scenes where dialogues were not enough or appropriate to explain the situation. Only Wahaj and Yumna and their brilliant performances saved the show.

I was shocked and I froze, it was so so disturbing firstly seeing Meerub spit (which to be honest was a bit much and made me uncomfortable.), which in no way justifies what is insinuated later. Then Murtasim's response. I had never thought, a drama scene could enrage me as much. It was just pathetic. For the writer to write it, content teams to approve it at multiple levels, the actors to agree to perform such scenes, the direct to envision it and the editor to edit the cut. It could have been stopped at so many levels, it is beyond my understanding how such things are green lit.
Did he or did he not, even if he didn't, what the trailer and scenes insinuate is chilling. I cannot even begin to fathom at what levels it must have triggered women who unfortunately may have had to face an assault. Seriously society justifying the hero's action coz he was slapped and spat on, is just pure victim blaming.
You cannot take away our hero like this, after making us dream of something good finally, a refreshing change. This is disgusting. I would definitely hold the actors Wahaj Ali , and Yumna Zaidi accountable for not taking this up with the team. If marital rape is what is shown, I am sorry to say I will lose respect for the actors as well.
I understand showing certain scenes are important and a message, but this ain't that sort of a drama. This has been pure trashy romance, this wasn't required

Won't ever watch Nooran Makhdoom' s show if they do this to Murtasim's character. Murtasim has been glorified all the while in the show only to push him down so bad. There have been other toxic characters too but they haven't been glorified as much as Murtasim. And making his character questionable at this point of time will make us girls question all the men who are similar to how Murtasim has been until now. We'd be dealing with major trust issues. This is not acceptable. Also the fact that even if it doesn't happens yet insinuates that is messed up. Are TRP and ratings worth the trauma it gave its Audience. I can vouch for so many fans who've been mentally disturbed after last night that they couldn't sleep, including me. I have been traumatized to an extent that even in my sleep it lurked like a nightmare. They've got no right to play with audience's emotion like that. Guys, I'm shook and angry. But the more I think about it...this writing is so deep. It shows how naive we are. Murtasim was always this person lakin WE so hungry for a decent human being as man/hero...we overlooked so many of Murtasims red flags. Their relationship was always toxic. Power is a veryyyy strong force for the ego, especially a male ego. His ego ( a guy who is all respected snd powerful) couldn't handle being rejected for so long by meerab. He never loved meerab. That rohail dude was right. In our society there is a fine line between a woman being your izzat vs you loving her. The former is for your ego and the latter is real. This week, Tere Bin stooped below any other drama in recent times. I’d rather watch Mujhe Pyar Hua Tha after that atrocious scene in last nights episode - and I despise Mujhe Pyar Hua Tha. I don’t understand why Wahaj or Yumna would make such an irresponsible decision. It’s shocking to think that these two are the same actors who acted in Dil Na Umeed to Nahi which was all about women’s rights. It was definitely a mature watch, but the concepts of rape and abuse weren’t just used for sensationalism like Tere Bin did last night. I don’t even care if Murtasim’s character doesn’t actually do anything in next week’s episode. The fact that the director and writer thought it was ok to profit and make millions off of such a sensitive topic and to sensationalize it is beyond disgraceful and disgusting. If I recall correctly, Yumna admitted that she didn’t read the full script and now it’s really obvious 🤦. Such a fall from grace in my opinion. Even Kaisi Teri Khudgarzi didn’t stoop this low, because at least the drama made some logical sense. Shame on team Tere Bin.

Spitting on husband, who has stood behind you throughout, for actual no reason is disgusting. Meerab already knows how haya has schemed throughout and yet she chooses to not believe murtasim. Meerab character is very poorly written. Plus her dialogues are the worst. Telling a man that "acha hua agreement sign karwaya tha" Doesn't an adult sensible women like meerab understands tht the agreement is no court of law, just a piece of paper. It's a Man's words that has kept the agreement intact till today. Insulting husband, spitting on him, raging him all over and than hurting a male ego by telling about agreement made no sense. Only stupid women would do it. Throughout 45 episodes murtasim character has come to the edge with meerabs pathetic behaviour. And then raging a man + hurting his male ego+ insulting him. What else could you expect than? Rage doesn't let a human think of wrong and right. It's just pitiable tht how today serials are showing women to be utter fools in name of modernization and Liberty. It was meerab who had assumeably become orphan and for her own safety she married murtasim, which she clearly says in early episodes "yateem hogaye, darbadar khwar nahi hona chahti" How is he to be blamed for her forceful marriage anyhow? Infact it's ungratefulness of meerabs character to be so ridiculous to a man who didn't let her become"darbadar khwar"

He has raped her and it has since been confirmed by the writer herself who gives 0 credit to the intellect of the audience watching this show. No one is saying that no one should highlight rape, abuse etc. but we know in the world if Pakistani tv slaps are handed out like sweets. Rape is also a hard subject and should be highlighted but what does not make sense is this as aamna says is a trashy romance so at what point was it justified oh because meerab annoys him and helped his sister escape. What about his actions and character what about him killing Rohail off, slapping meerab, but floundering around with Haya but no its okay because he is a man. If this had been a drama about abuse in a marriage consent I dont think anyone would have batted an eyelid but because everyone is so shocked by this narrative people are thinking what have been watching and why did we start. The only reason people watched the show was for Yumna and Wahajs chemistry and acting skills in creating these two characters. Now they have ruined the characters who is even interested in all the past episodes and the couple - no one. This was done to cause ratings and nothing else it triggered people because no one expected it. They thought she was going to come and confess her love finally the final 10 episodes would be these two romancing each other. That would have probably created more fandom then ever before instead we got this disgusting human behaviour and the janazah of a character loved by many. What makes it worse is those people justifying this should happen. The writer included. NO, no woman should be raped no matter how annoying she is and she should not be stripped of her consent - the torment of that will live with her for the rest of her life. She deserved a happy ending. I don’t want to watch this show again. They went from being the best pakistan drama in 10+ years to biggest pile of 💩 ever served from Pakistan. The writer is completely insane and needs mental help if she promotes this and drags murtasims character through the mud like this. She's in interviews talking about how ''contract breach mein maza ayega''?? I mean how can you built a character like this where he cant even see the fl cry, cant stand separating from her for a moment, respects her more than anyone, REATTACHED the contract out of ''respect'' and he would stoop so low to do this? Wheres the logic? same, one moment you are so invested and in love with something, and next you want to forget every bit of it, I am feeling disgusted.

All the flashbacks Murtasim has in the bedroom were about the moments when she rejects and insults him. The contract, then telling him he can't sleep on the bed, insulting and pushing him when he touches her hair, etc. It is not lust. His ego is crushed by these memories. And he has just seen her with Rohail. He is hurt and angry. And that is how she finds him at the wedding venue.

Alot of people are saying that what Murtasim did was wrong but Meerab spitting on him was also not right ...I mean is there any comparison of both of these things?
They makers made Meerab to spit on Murtasim's face just to justify his act as they can walk off with this justification.
Read someone's comment that " I'm wondering why I started watching this show" and I'm like same bro

This review was done so well! I couldn't get myself to watch the latest episode because of the spoilers and finding out how the episode ends but I'm watching the review to make myself feel better. The potential turn of events in this drama will ruin the show for me.

If Murtasim khan destroys the character of his 'Ideal Husband' like this.. I am never going to see any Pakistani Drama again 💔💔🥺
