The moment when Murtasim says na bhi karti ho mohabbat, mere saath reh Rahi itna hi kaafi hai. Was so important for so many women who live in forced arranged marriages. It would be nice to get validation from men. Murtasim is setting such a high bar for men 😍

Finished Dil na umeed to nhi because of Tere bin and iam so glad that I did. I cried throughout that drama. It was so good. So much needed. I wish both of them do projects like this again especially with the INSANE popularity they both have now. Anything they will touch will turn to gold. I hope they do consider it. It's high time that Pakistani dramas start showing husband-wife romance, instead of marital abuse. Both of the leads have delivered a pitch-perfect performance in Tere Bin. Their combustible chemistry is off the charts. It's the most appealing and entertaining drama to watch at the moment. Well done Wahaj and yumna for setting the screen on fire with your blistering chemistry.

Meerab's character is not dim, she has not stood up to Maa Begum, because she's already overwhelmed by accident and the fact that Murtasim risked his own life for her. Somewhere she's feeling guilty, shattered and confused. Because just before Maa Begum, she confronted Haya with her usual savage self at the hospital.

The bed scene was one of the most adorable moments of the drama...I was literally blushing and started laughing when their romance turned into a cute fight.
And Wahaj my god...where has he been all this long I mean the way he does romance is peak. Wahaj has set the bar of onscreen romance so high that it would be difficult for anyone to even come close to what he's doing in tere bin and man he's got such expresive eyes.
Also I just love yumna❤ wheather as Mahajabeen(pks), rakhi(DNUTN), shaista(sinfe ahan) and now meerub.. she's been nailing every Character. Meerub's expressions after seeing Murtasim touching her hair and saying "isliye main yahan nahi so rhi thi"😆 (and finally she realized how difficult it is to sleep on the sofa)
And murtasim replies..."tumhare balon ko touch kya kar lia tum itni badtameezi karogi mere sath" I had a big smile that turned into a burst of laughter. Then he says "itna darr hai toh papers ko beech mei rakh kar soya karo, kahin koi unch neech na ho jaye" that was epic😅😅 Also, when meerub told him to sleep on bed since he's injured and he said "kaash yeh Zakhm kabhi na bharen" and that "tumhe kha nahi jaunga" was so cute😆
Meerub and Murtasim has undeniably become one of the most romantic onscreen pairs ever.
Thanks to the writer of TB for giving us murtasim. TB is very well written, the dialogues are superb too.
The director has once again done a great job of bringing out all the right emotions in the audiences. There was drama, romance and a dose of laughter too.

  • @anaazimran6276
    @anaazimran6276 ปีที่แล้ว +297

Murtasim is just setting the bar too high! He's delivering all the dialogues that we've always wanted to hear from male leads in a drama. As viewers, we can clearly see the depth of Murtasim's love for Meerab in his eyes. It's pure magic! Wahaj delivered amazing expressions in the garden scene, particularly in portraying the character's sadness. Murtasim shed genuine tears for Meerab. This is the second time he has shown such emotion, the first being after the kidnapping incident when he was taking care of her. He avoided overacting and was impressive in the bedroom scenes, where he delivered his lines with authenticity and conveyed pain through his facial expressions. Yumna was also excellent in her performance. Mariam's role stood out for its grace, and it was satisfying to see Haya's schemes backfire
While Murtasim was successful in retrieving the bed, it wasn't particularly helpful as anyone can enter their room anytime, whether it's the maid, Haya or Maa Begum. It went too far this time when Maa Begum barged into their room early in the morning. It would have been more realistic and logical if one of them had opened the door. This was quite strange lekin Maa Begum se aur kia expect karsakte hain mu dikhai toh poori apni aankhon ke saamne karwaye thee 😂

That slap was a blatant and irreparable mistake that broke Murtasam's own heart. After that, his feelings for Mererab changed forever. Murtsam's gentleness despite Meerab's abusive behaviour shows that he still regrets that slap.

This entire situation could have also been avoided if Murtasim took 30 seconds to tell Meerub about his plans for Naila's nikah. She's his wife and the victim, she has every right to know what's going on, and every right to speak out for what she believes is right. The communication needs to be resolved by both parties, this isn't just in Meerub.

This is why both Meerub and Murtasim seem off during these episodes:
They have had a heck of a time the last few weeks. With Meerub’s kidnapping and Murtasim being shot at. Both were in the midst of dealing with such traumatic events when the car accident happens. Now, both are dealing with mental, emotional and physical trauma. Anyone would be off their arc during such circumstances. Meerub doesn’t have the willpower to fight with anyone right now. Murtasim went into the accident with the mindset that Meerub betrayed him. He said his trust was broken. Now, post accident, he is in a headspace where he can believe that Meerub might’ve betrayed him again. Meerub is feeling immense guilt as she knows Murtasim took the brunt of the accident. Neither one is able to express themselves clearly till episode 20. And then we see them bounce back and resume their normal lives.

I just love the fact that you guys review tere bin just as an entertaining drama, keeping the logic on side, unlike other critics, because not every drama is for learning lessons, people like me watch dramas just for entertainment purpose, we Have already life to teach lessons, this is the reason we want to live some time in fantasy and to freshen up our mood.. and I guess people are mature enough to differentiate between real and reel characters not assuming them to be true.

Intimacy is such a beautiful thing and I love how respectfully they have showcased it in this drama. This is an enjoyable watch, it's steamy, romantic and entertaining. Plus, Wahaj and Yumna are such a treat to watch. The entire team of tere bin deserves so much love for standing by a project that goes against the regular Pakistani depressing norms. Thank You Amna and Hassan for these entertaining reviews, I look forward to watching your reviews every week.

I think Meerub's reaction at the beginning of episode 19 was justified if you take all that has happened. She feels guilty - removing the bullets from Murtassim's gun, to him saving her life. She couldn't fight back Maa Begum's comments or the barricade she set up at the hospital because she felt responsible for the accident and scared that he would die, and she is numb and doesn't have the energy to answer back.

Thoroughly enjoyed your review. We should normalise husband wife on-screen romance. And it should be given good screen time with better dialogues like in terebin instead of promoting extra martial affairs and martial abuse. In a beautiful statement, Mufti Manek emphasised that husband should show affection and kisses his wife in front of their kids so they know how they should treat their wife when they grow up. Many women in our society live unhappy married lives. Showing these affections in our drama may have a positive impact on our society.

On a very different note....while watching that scene of maa begum and meerasim....a thought crossed my mind.....when everyone was calling humza of humsafar ideal husband....no man humza should take notes from murtasim for standing in front of mother and acknowledging rights of wife.....must say that scene was one of powerful scenes of the episode.....maa begum says main tumhari maa hun....mustasim says par ab ye bhi kuchh lagti hai meri, maa.....meri izzat hai aur meri izzat ko aap taqleef nahin pahuncha saktiiii ALL HAIL MURTASIM 👏

As a Indian in our tv shows we used to see this kind of scenes of bedroom even in pakistan Indian serials bhut phle se dikhaye ja rh h but I guess this is the first romantic serial which actually show a definite romance for Pakistani audience back ground music when they close to each other it is quite good. As in Indian we r familiar with these kind of scenes actually there bedroom scenes are similar to Indian serial with romantic background music but what actually driven us to watch again the same scenario is only the couple . Agar couple ki chemistry jam kr aaye toh scenes ka koi prblm nhi h
    Wahaj and yumna rocked!

Such a fun review!! Was waiting for this 🤩 I'd like to say a few things
    1. In the hospital murtasim does sense something is wrong, he asks is she naraaz with him why aren't Anwar chacha and all also coming. And he doesn't believe haya the first time when she says Meerab left the house. He says 'interesting' as in what stories are you trying to tell me.
    2. He says is baar main nahi rukoonga to maa Begum.
Means last time maa Begum sent away his chahat and he stayed back.
    3. I think Meerab didn't forcefully go see Murtasim in the hospital coz even she felt a bit guilty about the accident and about how maa Begum would be feeling about her son. So she listened to her and didn't force to meet.
    4. I think Meerab should atleast acknowledge that she has insulted him in front of the whole village and the two should talk it out about how they're not communicating things.
    5. I love the theories of the car accident and how murtasim saved her and that he didn't take her to his room.
    6. Meerab khud hi maaf nahi kar paarahi hain uske sasuraal ko and she's telling Murtasim to forgive Malik??

@Hassan: Meerub walks into the garden area and sees Murtasim sitting. She is overwhelmed with emotions. She is happy he is alive. She is concerned for him. She is confused by his actions of saving her. She is sad to see him hurt. She is just a ball of emotions. Then she hears Murtasim’s speech about how he thinks she betrayed him again. She is upset. She is misunderstood again. She didn’t take the bullets out to hurt him. She didn’t abandon him post accident. She is hurt to know that Murtasim’s thinks so little of her.

After the pool episode , we had another fiery entertainer, the bed episode 😊Another very cute , well excited scene with lovely chemistry between the two . Murtasim got the bed back and the door to their room, not of much help, though. Mom and Haya have the most perfect timings to barge into their room. Can’t imagine a mother barging in like this.
TB is an exhilarating experience. Fast paced , not a dull boring moment. Feeling low, or sick, TB guarantees to bring a smile and some laughs out of us and releases our tensions, and SH review is like a cherry on the cake.😊

@ Mahnoor Qureshi ..Oh.. I loved your comment. Tere Bin is really setting the bar high for a commercial entertainer. Wahaj and Yumna are simply creating a magic and the pace of the episodes barring a few ones are really amazing. Minus point is too much screen space is being given to Haya's character, that's a complete bummer. My fav moment was from last episode was when Murtasim laid bare his heart in front of Meerab, that's simply one of the most romantic moments I have watched in recent times.

In my opinion, Meerub didn't speak up in front of Maa Begum at home when she was asked to leave because she was in trauma with whatever suddenly struck her and Murtasim. Somewhere, she was guilty because in one way or another, they ended up in an accident because of her with all the allegations that are put on her by Haya and Maa Begum. The same goes with the hospital scene where she didn't speak up against Maa Begum. Meerub did try to meet Murtasim but she really just couldn't go against Maa Begum because she somewhere believes that she is responsible for this condition of Murtasim and the guilt is eating her up within herself. Moreover, Maa Begum said "Push me and then only you can meet Murtasim" In this case, she didn't disrespect Maa Begum, abiding with what Anwar asked her to do. Simply, she's vulnerable with all that happened and is tangled within her own emotions because of the circumstances that she had to go through all at once.

Amazing review once again 🤌🏻. Hassan man both of your theories regarding Saad and consent are so on point. They make so much sense. And hands down to Wahaj and Yumna. Uff the chemistry b/w them is literally on fire 🔥. They don’t even need to do bold scenes, the looks they are giving each other and the whole scene with their hands and Murtasim’s gulp, it’s enough 🥵. At the start of the episode Wahaj was giving Devdas vibes with cigaret and all, then we saw his angry side and then those puppy eyes. The emotions he displayed throughout the episode were sooo on point. I knew from DNUTN that that man can act but damn never knew that he was that good 🤌🏻. Such a talented fine man. How does he do it. And the same goes for Yumna. Her character isn’t written that strong but Yumna ki acting ne 4 chaand laga diya hain merub ko. Their cute nokh jokh at the end was sooo good 😂. The whole bed scene was so adorable. I wish we had more cute scenes like this in Pakistani dramas instead of violence and slaps . Loved the episode and loved your review. Just finished watching another entertaining Tere Bin review by you guys. 👏👏👏 Enjoyed and kept laughing throughout. I second Hassan's theory about similarities between Saad and Murtasim's characters when it comes to loving someone. They both protect and save the girls when needed, are head over heels in love with them, are caring and respect boundaries. Its just their circumstances, scenarios and backgrounds are different and hence they appear very different.
Also I agree with amna that its high time we showed some romance and intimacy between characters when its needed because that's how things r in reality. Our dramas have become so stark, devoid of showing any love which is so unreal, fake and honestly scary. I remember it was not so bad in the older dramas but lately violence, aggression, hatred and negativity has totally taken over. I remember seeing an old Saba Qamar and Adnan Siddiqui drama where the husband and wife were shown sitting on the bed with arms around each other, mouthing romantic dialogues, holding hands and talking like normal married couples. Hum to miyan biwi ke jhagrey khushi se dikhatey hain but not their intimacy or care....need to normalize that.
Wahaj has always been very effective in romantic scenes even in his earlier dramas no matter however it was depicted. He was great as Hamza in Fitoor, Baasim in Ishq Jalebi, Riz in Ghisi piti mohabbat but not always he is matched by the female lead. Acting is action and reaction and that's how chemistry is created. With Yumna he is able to get that as Yumna herself is a terrific performer. Even in DNUTN which was a social drama, the few scenes they had with each other showed such great timing and chemistry though there were no romantic dialogues involved. Watching Rakhi and Jimmy was so tender and sensitive. In Tere Bin they had a full potential to exercise that and the result is for everyone to see.
