Very precise, articulate instructions. I'm still learning, now I can only get my body to listen and follow along, I will sing your praises! I just got a cross rope, even with what little I've done with it, it makes even someone like me so much better instantly - because of how smooth/easy/consistent it moves due to being weighted, and the fact that it does not tangle. Makes a huge difference compared to an average jump rope, very worth the extra money. Thanks so much for the video!
been jumping for like 2.5 weeks now and jumping like this benefits A LOT, you jump rope longer, you stop focusing on jumping higher and your knees stop hurting like the first days i can say that i prefer jumping rope over any other cardio

@@markospaic314 Keanu Reeves is that you?
Very precise, articulate instructions. I'm still learning, now I can only get my body to listen and follow along, I will sing your praises! I just got a cross rope, even with what little I've done with it, it makes even someone like me so much better instantly - because of how smooth/easy/consistent it moves due to being weighted, and the fact that it does not tangle. Makes a huge difference compared to an average jump rope, very worth the extra money. Thanks so much for the video!
so pumped to hear it! Keep going!
I've a ton of latent injuries from distance running. I'm 50+, now, so a cardio endurance exercise with low impact is good news.
Can you teach me side swing

Oh shiiit. I've been wanting to do this forever and two minutes into this video I got out my jump rope and did it. So freaking easy, I didn't know what I was thinking before! Next mission, double unders!
Hi JRD, I find your instructions tremendously inspiring, needless to mention a huge fan who's reaped benefits from your videos.
Can you please mention your Nike trainer model too, please?
Man i realized how hard this move is! I can do the basic rhythm WITHOUT the rope, but once i incorporate it, everything becomes awkward.
bro exact same thing for me, have you gotten the hang of it yet? I've just began trying this move for the first time today.
Thanks for the detailed vid! 🔥 I just got my ropes Tuesday! I go to bed wanting to get up the next morning and DO THE THING!! #jumpropeislife
Hows it going mate?
Now, this is where I struggle a lot. Thanks a ton!
Question for whoever can answer. When I do this exercise find my feet lifting very high, I'm relaxed but I know I'm exerting more energy than I should. Any tips or exercises I can try?

Thank you, very helpful. Thank you for slowing down the video at points and zooming in to your feet and the step. I have found starting a normal jump first to get a rope rhythm and then transitioning my feet to the boxer skip has helped me. I just started and it IS fun!
Glad it was helpful! That's a great technique to get yourself in the groove! Keep doing the thing!
When he said pause the video and skip for 5 mins I felt that.
I have to ask what the bump on the side of your leg?
I did this unintentionally, that’s so cool
tried this for the first time ever (m 42) and couldnt do it at all never even seen it done. planning on practicing it and getting good. thanks for the help. does feel super awkward but gonna get the rhythm then the rope
You got this!! Keep going! Do the thing!!!
Cleanest video I seen on this topic! Volume of you, music was just right and not overwhelming. Great sequence of learning and like the style. Speaking of which, what kind of sunglasses are those?
