      I think you should tell people how to scale it up on these videos. You have a lot of beginners that can barely do 1-2mins and then they hear 30 mins to get shredded and get scared and quit.

    Being in a decent mind space is key.
    SLEEPING WELL, being well hydrated and not consistently stressed.

    Your videos are always an inspiration bump. A little more than a year ago, I decided to take my health seriously. I had never exercised, and my diet was atrocious. Now, a year later, I'm down 50lb and find myself looking forward to the next workout. It's important, in my opinion, to get across that weight loss, and getting yourself to a better physique is truly a journey that shouldn't be rushed. Being patient with your body and listening to what it needs is vital. Don't feel bad for indulging when you need to, as long as you keep consistent with your health for the majority of the time.

    I started jumping rope on December and I've seen some changes in my body, but your video is complete accurate, I think is all about discipline because sometimes we just rely on motivation and people get desperate if they don't see fast results, that's because we live in a culture of quick rewards and we hope to see changes very fast without being consistent.

    Never really was into playing sports and, as a result, always had skinny ankles and lackluster cavs. Started jumping in December 2022, and was jumping about once or twice a week. Shin splints on account of weak shins and ankles necessitated such a frequency in sessions per week. About two months ago, finally got to the point where my ankles are resilient enough to increase my sessions to about 4x a week 💪🏾

    • @TheWhatever4004
      @TheWhatever4004 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you for this. Knowing i'm not the only one with this exact shin splints issue and can only jump maybe twice a week inconsistently this really helps. Glad you are able to jump 4x a week now is huge motivation for me to keep pushing.

    • @bluespiral4678
      @bluespiral4678 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @TheWhatever4004 Thanks, and glad to help. One thing I didn't mention was that I also bought me a tibia trainer or tib bar, which is used to strengthen shins and / or tibia bones. If i were you, I would get one of those as well and use it 3 to 5 times a week and 3 to 4 sets each go. Gradually increase the weight when you're ready. I no longer even find it necessary to use currently. I do, however, think that aided in my progression.
      Deep messages are beneficial on the shins as well. Painful, but worth it.
      Keep at it, you'll get there, slowly but surely👍🏾💪🏾

    I started jumping rope a week ago, and I can't wait to see some results. I know it takes a while, so I needed this video right now. I jump 1000 - 1500 so far, but I will increase gradually. I am a 31 year old woman with type 1 diabetes, and while I am not overweight I have gained a lot of weight the last few years mainly due to insulin treatment. Hoping I can lose 5 - 7 kg with this. Will add more push ups to my routine as well (not super consistent with that), and probably some weight training too. I walk around 15000 steps every day... usually 20000+ in spring/summer.
    I don't expect to reach my goal any time soon, but I hope to see a change in 2 - 4 months at least. Fingers crossed.

    I started at 81kg(overweight on my BMI), my daily jump rope routine mainly focuses on being proficient to the tricks rather than endurance..I went to 75kg after a month. Jump rope tricks made me enjoy the workout and made me consistent to wanting to improving. There were minor injuries, but cold compress and proper stretching helped me. I kept going to reach 72kg, which is my normal BMI. Somehow around 40-50th day I got stuck at 75kg. I got frustrated. That's when I started eating less(fasting like 12-15 hours). At day 77th, I reached 70.6kg. Till this day I still do minimal jump rope, daily and do minor resistance training like pull ups and push ups. But I noticed that my body felt more healthier around the 1st month than today. I feel lazy nowadays but at least my routine isn't gone and I can maintain my 69.5kg even when eating normally. Any ideas as to why my body doesn't feel that healthier? Or is it normal? I started January 20th 2024.

    I personally saw results in a matter of 48 hours
    I did though remove about 95% of carbs and started to drink water over anything else
    It was rather insane how i barely saw a 6 pack and waking up day 3 seeing it fully
    granted it was a lot of water weight im assuming still
    Just adding Jump roping to it was the only change

    I know people say potatoes/rice/noodles are not good for a diet. But what's your take on sweet potato, both the purple and orange ones. I hear they have health benefits, do you agree? I've been eating right and working out but these are new to my diet and wondering if I should take them out.

    • @bluespiral4678

      Not an expert, but I think they're a better choice health wise and taste wise than russet or yellow potatoes. Brown rice, I'm told, is also a healthier option. I'm not sure about noodles.

    I am 38 years old and have me/cfs caused by environmnetal toxins like air pollution and mold and viral reactivations which is similar to an autoimmune condition where if i exceed anaerobic threshold greater than 112bpm for extended periods the body can crash and be fatigued for days from one event
    Pushing doesnt work with this illness
    Use to jump alot before coming down with cfs a few years ago amd it was eay at the point to do graded exercise
    Which feels nearly impossible now
    Pretty much glycolsis system is broken with this illness
    Id like to build up my cardiopulmonary system without being in crashes
    Any suggestions?

      Me too. I walk a lot. Slowly and relaxed but at least 30 mins each day. It depends how severe you are right now. It’s a great place to start. Zone 2 exercise still builds the cardiovascular system.

    I've been watching some of y'alls videos and you do a ten or fifteen minute workout but you stop for 10 seconds between each minute of workout. I'm just curious, but why not just go non-stop for ten or fifteen minutes if you can do it?

    First time I jump rope yesterday and I did 2000 jumps under 30min. Is that good enough for a start and a good base for a cardio workout?
    How do you incorporate (body)weight exercises & resistance training ? I train 5 days a week already (~40min/day) + 2 days for mobility. Should I dedicate a day for the jump rope or train after my workouts? Can I even jump rope daily if I feel like it?
    👉🏼 At the moment I’d like to focus on getting lean for I have ~4kg of fat I wish to get rid off.
