Thank you for giving me my quilt mojo back! Like many I have been struggling during this pandemic. I discovered your podcast because I decided to make a log cabin quilt for my sister! After finding your half log cabin quilt and looking at many other quilts of yours my head is full of projects that I cant wait to start! I love the low key presentation. You are not trying to sell anything, you are just sharing your love of quilting and your simplified way of doing things!

I love how you don't try to sell products. Just using things up is what I like. I have to be thrifty not only in my sewing room. I have been going to resale stores and the amount of fabric I get and sheets oh my goodness. So glad for your sewing room. You have given so much inspiration. The last 4 weeks I have made a quilt a week and gifted everyone of them. Now I am finally making myself 1 all from thrifted fabric even the backing. Thank you

This is my favorite video. I like that it’s scrappy. I’m sewing some patchwork quilts for several of my son’s teachers. This will be my first time adding a border. So I’m watching this video over and over until I’m confident before I add my border. I know you have others videos but I like this one and this is the first that comes up when I search for you.

I loved this. I am taking a beginner quilting class at a university extension and they have me so terrified about the need to be so precise and controlled and iron the “right way” (only press down, never slide the iron). It is such a relief to see an experienced quilter just flow with the work and to see that it can come out amazing, You have made me feel free,

I am happy that quilting has room for ALL kinds of quilters. 🙂 I have been in classes that had a lot of rules and I did struggle. There are usually good reasons for the rules....but it's kind of fun to break rules...especially when it doesn't hurt anybody! 😆

Hi Beth, Can i swear? aka this would make a wonderful picnic quilt, being so full of colour and pattern. Sorry i do not mean to demean your hard work by saying a picnic blanket but i just think that kiddies would be drawn to the bright colours in it and when they are off playing and forget about time, this would be like a beacon to beckon them back to the right family. The parks get full with families when the weather is lovely and it can make things a bit difficult for most children in general, but i am on my 3rd generation of Autistic child in my family with my little mute grandson. I know that it is busy for an autistic child, but it does make families around more aware of the children when they come to the park and wander, as they're apt to do. THank you for sharing this wonderful pile of scraps into a pile of wonder. Crafty hugs from Norah, Glenochil Village, Scotland
