  • Hi everyone, I've decided to open up about something that is very close to my heart. It takes a toll on me mentally, emotionally, and physically. This was very hard for me to open up about so bare with me as I get through my feelings.
Please be respectful of those that suffer with this illness and others that are taking care of people with mental illness. It is a struggle everyday and some days are better than others. Again please do not disclose the person I am talking about in the comments YOUR COMMENT WILL BE DELETED.

Love this Brandi! I take care of a very close loved one who suffers the exact same issues. It’s very very hard especially when it’s someone that you interact with everyday. Im so happy you put this video out there and I think lord people should talk about the first hand struggles. I love to have a segment on my upcoming podcast that discusses this more because people don’t talk about it enough.

Thank you for sharing that. It is very hard and I don't think enough people talk about it. I think this would be a great podcast discussion and I can't wait to tune in.

Thank you for this video. I’m currently going through a lot caring for a close family member with mental illness. It makes me feel less alone hearing experiences from other caregivers. Some of the experiences you shared about trying to talk to friends (I’m 30) about your loved one and their illness resonates so hard. Hang in there!! You inspired me to seek out more support for myself. Thanks again for sharing!
Also, love your hair. Room is so cute too!

Thank you so much for sharing this, I know this took so much courage and I’m so proud and happy you did. People are so afraid to talk about it or don’t believe mental illness is real. There is so much we all need to learn.

Agreed!! There is definitely a resounding fear in talking about mental illness and people tend to laugh it off like it's not a big deal. We have a long way to go and I'm hoping this helps.

I am SO proud of you for sharing this. This willingness to educate & be vulnerable is in short supply. Especially when we are talking about mental health and caring for a person with a mental health disorder. Keep radiating light, educating us all, & modeling the change that we need. People are slow to catch up, but they'll get it eventually.

Thanks I wanted to reach out but I've been really overwhelmed and sad. Rather be alone most days. I'm working on it.
