    That’s well priced for proper acme lead screws on the axes. Looking forward to the rest of this series.

    •  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Denis yes I couldn't agree more lead screw drive is definitely the way to go especially on a bigger machine 😀

      @ Timing chain vs Timing belt. Might be noisier but it won’t skip a tooth too easily.

    Wow, you need to be an engineer as well as a carpenter to make this work :) I love it.Great video Tom, really you left nothing out!! I see why ooziest asked you to do this!

      Thanks Mark, trust me I'm no engineer it's a very simple kit that even I could figure out 🤣

    Tommy you lucky bugger, can you arrange for Oozenest to send me a CNC as well please? That's a nice bit of kit you've got your hands on there Sir. Takes a bit of building but well worth it in the end. My friend has one and has great fun using it too. Looking forward to the build series and to see what genius ideas you come up with while using it.

    •  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Haha wish it was that simple 😅 maybe if I get to 10k subscribers I can do something. Its actually enjoyable to build and learning the software I have some ideas floating around already 😀

    Many thanks for publishing those videos

    Hi, what is the difference of Workbee and OpenBuilds cnc 1500 x 1500 ?

  • @johnosullivan8068
    @johnosullivan8068 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    How much would that machine set you back

    •  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi John, it would vary depending on the size and spec you wanted, very simple to follow machine configurator on the Ooznest website there is a link in the description of this video. But I think you will find its very reasonably priced for a leadscrew driven machine 😉
