- I start the build of my Ooznest Workbee Z1+ 1500x1500 CNC router by assembling the wheels and the Y-Plates. This is a perfect machine for the hobbyist and semi professional alike.

Going to be such a help for anyone building their machine 👍. Love the wheel pressing jig!!
Thanks 🙂 sometimes the simple things are the best
Great idea for pressing the wheels together another very informative video thanks Tommy
Thanks Thomas 🙂
Keep them coming Tommy
Will do 👍
Very interesting Tommy it really looks well designed so far
Thanks John yes its very well designed 🙂
Hi Tommy good evening from Lincolnshire UK. Great demonstration of the assembly really well explained. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to seeing the Workbee in operation.
Good evening Andrew and thank you very much 🙂
Legend!, first step of the build and you made it easy for me! I slightly modified the idea by drilling into a piece of wood with a 5mm drill bit, then releasing it from the drill and used that to construct the bearings, I also used a slightly larger piece of wood for the 6mm hole to push down to assemble the wheel, I only did this because it was what I had, it worked brilliantly! thankyou!
Your very welcome 🙂
Very interesting loving the build 👌
Thanks Paul 🙂
Loving the build Tommy keep them coming
Thanks William 🙂
Looking forward to the rest of the videos 👍🇮🇪
Excellent 🙂
Great video Tommy well explained and detailed 👏 I really think I'm going to be tempted to make a purchase 😀
Thanks Denis 🙂
thank you ! making assembly much easier
Thanks I'm glad you found it helpful 🙂
Just received my machine and these videos are going to be a massive help!!!
Definitely building that wheel assembly jig thanks Tommy
Delighted you are finding these useful 🙂 good luck with the build 👍
Loving this series Tommy, please keep it up.
Thanks 🙂
Can i use this for v-slot 2040
Thanks for the wheel assembly tip. I only had 60 wheel bearings despite the bag saying "62". I guess this is ok since I only need 30 wheels, did you experience the same?
Thanks, I got 2 spare but like you said you only need 60 I'm sure if you email ooznest they would send you on 2 as spares if you want them.
@ Thats good to know, I only worried in case the extra 2 were needed at some further assembly stage. Strangely I got 33 solid wheels in the bag instead of 31. I'll get in touch with them if I have any more problems, I hear their support is very good.
I have just come across this video and noticed it was published 1yr ago, I am about to purchase one of these machines and was wondering how you rate this unit and are you still happy with it
Many thanks Bernie
Hi Bernie,
The simple answer is yes I am extremely happy with it. I have actually had the machine for almost 2years and I'm still loving everything about it. Easy to build and a very capable machine. Can I ask what specification of machine you were thinking of?
@EireWorkshop I am going for the 750 x 1000 with the maffell router and unfortunately the ethernet connection
@@bernieclark7143 that's great nice size and good motor. I'm sure you will enjoy the journey from building it to using it 🙂. Feel free to use the link in this video to the Ooznest site if you do it helps me to continue making videos of the cnc 🙂
