What! I didn't know the existence of the doctor! I have a wizard on my main save file, but I was 7 years old when I played LKS for the first time and I don't know how I even got it.
Now it's time to wake up my poor Wii and get the doctor.

Oh yeah I had completely forgot about that "job"! you're right, it's def the worst special job out there, but now I wonder what is the worst non-special job in the game (outside of "being a kid" and "unemployed" for obvious reasons)

I remember playing this game as a kid but was stuck on the TV king since u need to know a bit of geography and as a kid I didn't know well but I did brute force my way very far all the way to New Island and really loving the game at the time
and I was able to replay it a few months back since I had a better mindset of what to do now that im an adult and can understand, and on my run I didn't even know u could equip your treasures to your party mates or know about the secret Wizard class or Doctor class or White knight class or more small nods like changing your scepters jewel color and a bunch more stuff involving your quests, I even got to finish all princess quests too, and collect all the Art pieces and the "reward" you get from it, this game has its charm
But jumping back to Wizard class, I still have my copy of the Wii version and it has the Manuel as well, and seeing/skimming at the art and such, it did give me a feeling that Wizard class WAS suppose to be introduced more early on and have multiple people become wizards and as you stated you can unlock the wizard town early but be greeted to the wizard after u beat all 7 kings which is a bit unfortunate
I did mess with the wizard a bit but its just a bit unnecessary to have introduced in your party, even after doing a lot of the game already, which is a bit sad for a cool secret class character, and your vid on giving a deeper break down was helpful as well to keep in mind on a replay through
Im sure there was probs reasons why the decision was made this way before the game got finished, But even so the game is still Very Good in my opinion, good vid

I was about to throw hands! I love the carefree adults. (one is named Letty, I AM biased). but yeahhhhhh Rainbow wizard just aint worth it that late in the game. He'd be great if unlocked after lumberjacks, but before Hardened grunts, but as is he's just not useful.
Doctor is a PAIN to get, but he is worth it for the stun!

From my observations it seems of you disband your army in the castle courtyard your soldiers always bully the wizard afterwards. Poor guy :

Wait the wizard's turn to stone/wood effect isn't permanent? How is it in any way different to a stun other than being worse??
As I say, lumberjacks and miners are cheaper than hardeneds, and also it has that niche use of killing the reborn dragon three times as fast and stopping poison from zombies

Oh. Okay. Well, these are the same people who I can only assume initially intended for the Concodore to be invulnerable to all jobs that aren't the Gourmet Cook, but then decided that was a bit too hard and made it possible to beat them with any job that can attack... but forgot to change the UMA Book entry to reflect this. Also Ginger is incorrect about how many artists are represented. There are not 100. There are 100 Art Pieces, but some of the artists got more than one in. Isn't that right, Kyle Rizla Doviken (008, 021, 037, 062, & 087) and Madeleine Rabil (006, 009, 038, 049, & 088)? So yeah, some of their in-game info is a little bit... off.
I mean... if you want to complete Martel's quest... then you have to at least get the job. You don't have to actually use it.
I believe for Martel’s quest, you just need to have bought Magical Land or had the throne guy tell you about it and that counts. So it can still be a mystery for some players.
I wonder if the Concodore was meant to be invincible, never considered it. I thought they were just being hyperbolic. That said, we know some things were that binary, like steel bridges being unable to be touched by mega or regular carpenters

In terms of personality, Moon (Remix RPG Adventure) is by the same writer and artist. Pikmin and Overlord have a similar gameplay gimmick but totally different personalities. Honestly… there’s really no game like this one, so I don’t have many strong recommendations sorry. Trust me, I’ve looked 😅
