I don't know how I've not seen this video until now, but this is a really good review! I especially like how you say that the bosses may change the genre of gameplay without betraying the mechanics. I think that's a really good way of explaining them.

It's really surprising how well they manage to re-contextualize what they have to basically create whole new experiences with every boss, it's just another reason why this is one of my personal favourite Wii games.

It's kind of funny you say that as I've been meaning to do a video of this since my first video, but I decided to hold off until I got better just so I could do proper justice for my favourite Wii game.

looks like it was inspired by Pikmin. Never played Pikmin or this game tho so I could be completely wrong

They're conceptually pretty similar, but I think this one is more enjoyable.

They recently also released this on Steam and few years back on the Vita

I did not know of the Steam version, and I've been wanting to try the Vita one since its release, but apparently it's not compatible with the PSTV, not that I'm completely bitter about it, except that I am.

I'd imagine it's due to the touchscreen back track pad functionality that it may or may not have

I don't doubt it thigh if I remember correctly, through a series of arcane button presses you could use touch screen stuff too on the PSTV, I just find how exclusive non functioning stuff like this to be annoying, not just because I bought a PSTV for stuff like that, nor about the fact I have like no Vita games because of it either. but rather simply because it makes just trying to play a game a whole quest in trying to discern compatibility, and not all compatible games even are fully compatible, it's just a stupid system they have.
Also I've been asking since its release but, why would anyone want a back touchscreen in the first place?!

Vita's touch devices are confusing, TV more so because of its lack of compatibility with all of that crap.
The back track pad can have one singular use as far as I'm concerned and that is playing dos box adventure games. But we aint gonna be getting that till vita gets hacked properly like the PSP did.
For now I only have like 2 games I'd want to get on that system, Caligula (Director of Persona 2 making his own game) and Chaos Rings prequel trilogy (Wild Arms people decided to make an RPG series too good to be on IOS/ android and got squeenix to release it on the vita as well).
There were a few more but they got ports.

Interesting, I've not heard of either.
