I just bought recently after hearing so much positive feedback from critics and fans and that it's one of the best games of the wii, after seeing this I'm glad I drained my wallet for this, seems it'll definitely be worth it

One piece of information I can provide is that the origin piece is most likely in D minor. For the vast majority of the soundtrack, the LKS piece is in the same key as the piece that inspired it. There are some exceptions to this rule, such as "Castle I" being in F rather than G (although intriguingly "Castle II" is correctly in G), some of the TV Dinnah music, "Tiptoe Kingdom", and "Flying Machine Unveiled" - I'd put it at 10% tops. Well, these are the same people who I can only assume initially intended for the Concodore to be invulnerable to all jobs that aren't the Gourmet Cook, but then decided that was a bit too hard and made it possible to beat them with any job that can attack... but forgot to change the UMA Book entry to reflect this. Also Ginger is incorrect about how many artists are represented. There are not 100. There are 100 Art Pieces, but some of the artists got more than one in. Isn't that right, Kyle Rizla Doviken (008, 021, 037, 062, & 087) and Madeleine Rabil (006, 009, 038, 049, & 088)? So yeah, some of their in-game info is a little bit... off. I mean... if you want to complete Martel's quest... then you have to at least get the job. You don't have to actually use it.

I recall seeing this game next to Xenoblade Chronicles at a store that didn't usually sell games. Something told me that I would never get either again, so I asked my mom to get this one for the wii, thinking I might get Chronicles later (I did. MUCH later). It was extremely unique and I don't regret getting this instead.

What! I didn't know the existence of the doctor! I have a wizard on my main save file, but I was 7 years old when I played LKS for the first time and I don't know how I even got it. Now it's time to wake up my poor Wii and get the doctor. Good video as always, keep up the good work!

Never say never. G-Mode has been rereleasing Japanese feature phone games on Switch & Steam. And guess who owns G-Mode? (Marvelous)

I really hope there's going to be a Fan Patch of sorts, which patches the major bugs and gives the game it's iconic graphics. This game really deserves better. In the meantime, better learn to adjust and set up the emulator.

Azul feels like the developers found Little Kings Story to be too earnest in its positivity and needed an irony poisoned edge lord to keep it ‘real’. He’s LITERALLY not from the Kingdom of Alpoko, but some unnamed other kingdom and it here because he’s stuck.

One thing that's not very apparent here but is absolutely a pain in the ass playing it on the vita: this font is disgustingly small!! The text box is HUGE but it only uses a small area in the middle. Same for all the menus. I have a feeling this font size was made for the PSP and localization team didn't account for Vita having 4x higher resolution (2x horizontal and vertical) so all the text is tiny as a result. The villagers icons are also so small they barely look like anything on the vita screen.

I started replaying LKS recently cause I never beat it as a kid. So glad I still have my wii copy, it's a shame the port is SO BAD. Maybe emulation can save it
