You’re supposed to mix the matcha powder with hot (not boiling) water to make a paste and then add the milk, it’s meant to froth and be whisked together as part of the ritual. Plus it won’t clump like that… then when the milk is added it’s gorgeous and silky.
Actual Starbucks barista here! For hot, It’s either 2-3 scoops of matcha and steamed milk poured over. Iced, made same way with cold make and shaken! 🌱🫘
@@Char.2.cool.4.u. the way Starbucks does it.. is that they use a shaker and add 2-3 scoops of matcha.. measure out milk with room for ice in the glass/cup you’ll use.. pour the milk in.. and add desired amount of ice.. and just shake that up and pour it in your glass 😊

Make sure you get quality matcha! Ensure the place knows about the harvest etc! Bad matcha will put you off haha. I recommend Matcha Botanicals (EU/US) or OMGtea (UK only, but not as good)
I spend 6 to 8 bucks on a few matcha drinks before. I don't how it cost so much. I like the taste. But they don't give you a big cup size of it like burger king/mcdonald big giant cups. They give me a small cup and call it a large...half of the time they don't fill it all the way. So i figure i should make my own from now on

it was nice to see but i don't have vanilla syrup.. so i couldn't add the vanilla syrup... so is it taste bad if i didin't add vanilla syrup?
