5 Iced Starbucks Drinks That You Can Easily Make At Home

How to brew coffee with French press:
5.5 Tbsp. (82grams) coarsely ground coffee
16 ounces (473grams) Filtered hot water
Instructions:
1. Use the water that is just off the boil and then pre-heat the French press. You don't need to fill it up all the way. Then empty the French press.
2. Add the coarsely ground coffee and hot water. Give a quick stir with a spoon to ensure that all of the coffee grounds are wet.
3. Cover, but don't plunge. Brew for 4 minutes.
4. Slowly plunge the coffee press. Pour and enjoy!
** If you don’t have any coffee beans, you can use instant black coffee.

Iced Latte
- ice
- 60ml coffee or more
- 1 cup milk
- 30g vanilla syrup (optional)
Iced Mocha
- ice
- 30g chocolate sauce
- 60ml coffee
- 1 cup milk
Optional: whipped cream & chocolate drizzle
Iced Caramel Macchiato
- ice
- 30g vanilla syrup
- 60ml coffee
- 1 cup milk
Optional: caramel drizzle
Matcha Latte
- ice
- 1 cup milk
- 1.5 to 2tsp. matcha powder + hot water
- 1Tbsp sugar or any sweetener of your choice

Nope, he is just making very simple and similar tasting things, but nothing he is making is made how Starbucks makes it
Starbucks uses actual espresso not filtered coffee and espresso is more aromatic and harder to make at home. These are kinda replacements but I'm sure they still taste really good.

Match fanatic here! Maybe the matcha you are using is different but typically you need to actually shift the powder first and then whisk it with 158F (70C) water and add it to the mixture. This prevents matcha to form lumps, since it has slight electrostatic energy. The portion of matchaa tea shops suggest is 0,65 grams per cup. I hope my comment doesn't offend you, I just had matcha from Starbucks before and it was very bitter and horrible, but I'm sure yours will taste a lot better. :)
HEY i just had my first matcha (from starbucks) after being told to for years and I too found it bitter and horrible, is actual matcha not supposed to take like this? if yes then suggest me how to make matcha at home (on a student budget with usual home appliances) or maybe some link of u have one? or like a cafe that actually has good matcha?

I'm fairly fine with instant coffee granules cause I hate cleaning my french press.. I don't want that bunch of ice so I basically put the mix in the freezer and take them out, barely frozen, more like frappe texture.. I'd only have the hibiscus tea at Starbucks because of the pomegranate pearls, oh and coffee jelly when i'm in caffeine crave.

uses different syrups (expensive & rarely used), matcha powder, whip cream
Syrup is super easy to make yourself though: you just use the same amount of sugar and water (ex: 1cup sugar/1cup water, or less if you don’t go through a lot) and cook on medium heat until boiling, or longer for thicker syrup. And if you want vanilla or any other flavouring in it you just add it after the syrup is off the heat. Done! And you don’t have to use it just in coffee, you can add it to teas and sodas too.
the syrups used in this video are quite common, or atleast where i live, whipped cream is also fairly common, but i've never heard about matcha until today and i don't know what the fuck it is (even autocorrect doesn't recognize it as a word)

Uhm no? You can at least use moka pot coffee as a substitution of espresso in espresso-based drinks, filter coffee isn't really suitable for those.
I knew something was off when I was watching it. Now that u point it out I suddenly remembered that shot of espresso is what should be used
