The difficult thing about getting the Seitengrat is that you can't cheat your way by manipulating the RNG because the chest isn't in a battle zone. Timing should also be flawless when opening the chest, which has very low odds of appearing (and it's invisible, like the weapon itself). It's really crazy to think that someone found where it was, given the circumstances.
The thing I love about the Excalibur is the holy element. No, not that monsters are weak to it, but that if you have a sage's ring (absorbs holy) you could heal without mana by hitting yourself or a teammate that has one!
Locke's Valiant knife in FF6 is pretty underrated. You get the atma weapon earlier technically but neither weapon is really abusable until you get the offering (or have 9999 hp), and the valiant knife just gets stronger the more you get hit rather than losing damage as you get hit, it's like the power soul that was mentioned, except you can easily hit 9999x4 at around 2/3 of 9999 user hp instead of needing to be all the way in critical status. Just saiyan.
I knew Auron'a Masamune would be here hahah. When grinding out Omega Ruin's monster captures I always had Auron in the party for Great Malboros like you showed, then swap to a character that could catch it. You'd probably be thrilled to know Rikku was always in my end game party, mainly because she could swim.
DK is probably the greatest FF fan ever. He doesn't dislike games like 13-2 just because a lot of others did, he knows all of his shit, he's funny...the list goes on.
I would have included the Demonsbane sword from FFXII, since you can get it on your first visit to Raithwall's Tomb and it deals massive damage for the levels your characters will be at.
If this video came out when FFXV was already out he'd definitely include Ultima weapon for Noctis. You can get it as early as chapter 3 pretty easily when you're over level 30 and stat boosting meals and it's the second most powerful sword in the game.
I would have included the Chicken Knife from FF5. Its attack power is based on the number of times you've fled from battle. If you're like me, this thing can get very powerful.
I am only on the No 5 entry, but I KNOW that the Zodiac Spear will be on this list! In another one of Dark Kefka's videos, he showed how you can get this crazy weapon after obtaining the Dawn Shard, which is just INSANE!
Suggestion: how about a top 10 list of the most powerful spells/abilities in final fantasy and perhaps another with the top most useful spells/abilities.
in final fantasy VI there are two better options as thrown weapons for 10th place: the pinwheel, and the impartisan (which is really a spear made for imps, but still does max damage when thrown)
I agree with you in some points, chests in Cerobi Steppe and Dark Matter are a pain to get without cheating. About the invisible equipments, I prefer not to get those since they're gamebreaking and specially because they're invisible. That sucks!
I really think that the auto crossbow from ff6 deserved some recognition. You can use it an infinite amount of times. You get it 20 minutes into the game automatically with Edgar. It does more damage as you get stronger and makes grinding a breeze for the first half of the game. Correct me if I'm wrong but I also think it ignored the target's defense? Not to mention that Edgar is probably going to be one of the characters in your group for most of the game.
One of the BloodSwords I found useful was the Drainer in Final Fantasy 6. If you manage to steal it of Number 028 in the Magitek Lab you can equip it on Locke. Now by itself it's less than useful, but give Locke the Thief Glove, and use Capture and now Locke not only has a powerful attack ability, but Capture bypasses the HP Steal effect dealing the weapon's real damage rate which for the time being, is the highest possible you can deal, and it even works on undead.
Scimitar FF6: decent attack power and random Odin-style dispatch/instant kill. Ancient sword FF2: random curse [massive drop to enemy stats, and you get it super early], FF7 apocalypyse: cloud's 3rd most powerful weapon and x3 materia growth. FF1: Heal staff and Thor's Hammer: free cure on entire party or thundara when used, saving those limited spell slots or giving knights offensive magic
A weapon that I've only recently discovered to be crazy busted is the Masamune from FF9. What makes it so powerful is Zidane's skill, Soul Blade, which inflicts the targeted enemy with the status effect corresponding to whatever thief sword he has equipped (it doesn't work if he's equipped with regular daggers), and the Masamune has Doom, which will kill the target within 10 seconds, which in FF9's speed, is honestly pretty fast. Did I also mention that the status effect is guaranteed to land unless the enemy is outright immune to it? An honorable mention goes to the Sargatanas, which have a similar case except it inflicts Petrify instead of Doom, but you won't get EXP or a kill for that.
I love how every DK FF Toplist has a tie in No. 1 with XII IZJS being the "if you have this game, consider this number one". I actually think XII IZJS is one of the best RPGs I've ever played, because there is so much content,so much to do,Rare Games,Marks,Elite Marks,Espers, getting the *F I N A L F A N T A S Y* weapons and, obviously,Trial Mode.
Definitely. Got a PS2 a while back, and I don't regret getting a copy of it. I mean, what game makes GRINDING fun?! With turbo mode and all the treasures you can collect there's almost no reason not to grind.
There's actually 4 chests connected to the Zodiac Spear. The one in front of Old Dalan's place, a couple in the palace, a couple when you first get sent to prison, and the ones gathered around the Phon Coast.
I agree with you, especially about Edward. He becomes more useful near the end of the game. Plus he's not so whiny in the after years; he actually grows some balls.
Locke and his Genji Glove duel Hawkeye setup is pretty damn strong, especially because they deal more damage to flying targets and there are a lot of those
Hmm, wonder if you would consider this as a top ten. 'Best potentially unending battles.' Which could tie into grind spots as well. An example being the first battle against Sin's fin when leaving Besaid for the first time. My goals being blitz ace for Tidus, 99 sphere levels for everyone, slayer overdrive for Kimari, and finishing with Energy Blast from Valefor, extra icing on the cake being defeating the second underwater boss of the game with Blitz Ace.
Use the Atma or Ultima Weapon from the 1st time you found it,trust me it really really useful later on when you have about 6000-9999 hp,cause it does the same damage, not fixed, and combine it with Offering/Master Scroll and Quick.Pretty much you can kill everything.
You can get the zodiac spear more then once. In the mines of henna is a chest wich appiering with a chance of 10%, 10%that a item is inside and a 10% (just with a special accesuare) that a zodiac spear is inside and the chast always comes back you can find and open them as much as you like
Sorry, I was in a rush, so I couldn't complete the previous comment on Top 10 ideas. Anyhow, here's some ideas, what do you think of it? - Top 10 Most Dangerous Final Fantasy Locations (optional or not, you do not even consider stepping foot into some places without some serious preparations; I haven't played the majority of Final Fantasy games, but from what I played, I'd like to nominate the Subterra (FFXII), the Henne Mines (FFXII) and of course, Via Infinito (FFX-2)) - Top 10 Most Difficult To Find Monsters (whether it's for the sake of completing the bestiary, for obtaining rare items or for another reason entirely, some enemies are just too damn difficult to find; my nominees are: the Garif Adventurer (FFXII), Larva Eater (FFXII) and Don Tonberry (FFXIII-2)) - Top 10 Final Fantasy Summons (this depends on whether you intend to focus on individual summons and how effetive they are, or just summon names and include their entire impact on the storyline, in which case Bahamut, Ifreet and Shiva will most likely be hogging for the top spots;) - Top 10 Final Fantasy Villains (Everyone seems to be doing it, so why not? I intend to make a list like this myself, provided Final Fantasy passes as an otaku topic for the group... long story;) - Top 10 Final Fantasy Plot-Twists (also called "WTF Plot Moments", you did mention what moment ticked you off the most, but with all due respect, I'd really like to see reactions to actual FF plot points as I haven't played most of them; now, the things I'm certain will make to this list, if you ever make one, would be: Aerith's Death (FFVII), The Destruction Of The World (FFVI), Vossler's Treason (FFXII) and, of course, the Ending (FFXIII-2)) - Top 10 Final Fantasy Final Bosses (this one includes spoilers, alright; once the story comes to a close, what final enemy put up the most fight, gave you the most trouble in beating, and gave you the most sattisfaction after finaling doing the sucker in! Orphan(FFXIII) and all his stages would most likely quallify, as the final boss is difficult, bizzare-looking and you really want to kick his ass;) So, is any of these doable?
DK here is a list of top 10 you could do for future reference : 1- Memorable/likeable Villains 2- Useless Spells 3- Scenery 4- Ugliest Characters 5- Beautiful/Memorable Cut scene 6- Useless Characters
Hey dk, a top 10 armor sets would be interesting, looks and usability would obviously need to be taken into account. Or you could do the top 10 idyllic locations in final fantasy, I am a fan of Alexandria in ff9 myself. Keep the videos coming dude!
I've gone through it once, but I actually started a new game a few days ago. I'm farming Shrouds in Chapter 2 first. I'll wait until I get 99 of each before moving on.
Blood sword is pretty late in the game in FF2 (not the end but only a few areas left), it's pretty obscure to find with a small window, and it's completely miss-able.
I've got a questions Darkkefka are you going 2 update your top 10 lists if you play lightning returns final fantasy 13 I mean you may find a boss you like right plus the other stuff there may be in the game or are you not going 2 play it?
An honorable mention should be the Scorpion Tail from FF12. It is the strongest 1 handed weapon,so you can equip a good shield with it,AND it can be made relatively early in the game-compared with the other top weapons.
another one for Aurun from FFX, when you get to calm lands, get him a weapon with evade and counter, and maybe a few strength+ and have him on perma' cover, he covers with a guaranteed evade, and counters with a heavy attack, just have the other 2 party members strike the magic attackers at that point. had him with that all through out calm lands to zanarkand and made catching mobs at that point in the game a breeze
What do you think about using Fang as the lead against a Long Gui? Using Highwind just before the stagger runs out and you can take Long Gui down in two cycles? I've been doing this for a while to get platinum ingots so any faster way would be much appreciated!
Don't you think getting either item in the number one spot makes the game really boring? Or is it at all worthwhile? I've never gotten either so I'm curious.
theres nothing specific about this video or your channel but the reason i subscribe is cuz it seems like youve beaten every numeric Final Fantasy game 1-15. its not as common as it seems, im a completionist like you in all my FF games cuz im a fanatic so i know all these details you talk about in your top 10 videos. thats what makes me apreciate your channel
Really liked the countdown. I kinda hoped #1 wouldn't be #1 since they're almost literally impossible to get without a guide, but I guess it's true that if you know about them, the game is over right there. Suggestion: Top 10 Jobs I know it excludes a lot of Final Fantasy games, but the amount of jobs in FF V and X-2 make up for that. There's a lot to choose from and even though there's a certain dressphere that you'd probably have to ban, it'd still be an interesting countdown.
How about top 10 best victory poses? There's plenty of awesome victory poses. Take for example Cloud's. He swings his sword around and sheaths it behind him. Pretty badass
9:20 it was made even more over power in the original release in which you were given two of them door will be in them you were unstoppable unless you attacked a zombie
You can get Zodiac Spear by using the somehow-confusing-at-first RNG trick at the Henne mines. You can get like 99 time, just like Seintegrat. If you still confuse about the RNG trick,it appear that you only can get 1 Zodiac Spear.
The Seintegrat bow can make you feel boring sometimes, but if you feel like that, simply using it only when trying to run from overpowered monster.Or you can use it as level up speeder.
How about the Engine Blade from 15? You start the game off with it, then upgrade it over time, and by the time you finish, it becomes the Ultima Weapon, one of the strongest weapons in the game.
i dont remember exactly (i lost my save and havent played it in a while). i know theres a skill called Dark sword that steals health too (overpowered much) but final fantasy tactics has a long list of crazy over powered gear and skills. for instance in fft the chaos blade almost guarantees a one shot kill, while excalibur gives you haste and absorb holy just to name a few weapons.
I remember running like hell into the Necrohal of Nabudis at level 20 or something, grabbing the spear, then running like hell out of that hellhole. Lol, good times. If I remember correctly, the only other way to get the Zodiac Spear is in an obscure chest in the Passage or Mines (I can't remember). The chest itself has a 10% chance of appearing, and if it does appear, there's only a 5% chance it'll contain the Spear. Yeah, good luck with that.
Frank Reynolds No its a little bit different, at least according to the official guide. There is a 10% chance of the chest appearing, then there is a 10% chance that the loot is an Item and not just money and THEN there is a 10% chance of the loot being the spear instead of an elixier. Calculating everything together this makes a 0.1% chance of getting it.
Eranell AND you had to equip an item that changes the tresure you get from chests on the character that open the chest itself, making it impossible to get if you open with the wrong guy. but on the bright side, the chest respawn, so, teoretically, unlimited zodiac spears!
If there is going to a top ten summons list...in terms of power its between anima or KOTK however eden, zodiark or bahamut are in with a shout. yojimbo is a spam.
Hey DK mind tellin me how to get the zodiac spear cause at one point my house had the massive guide book with stats and maps for everything in 12 but after quite a few years and meh dad being a bit dumb with it (tried to put it into a fuckin binder) it was basicly destroyed and i no longer have access to it, and dont feel like using the web to search, just askin cause wanna replay the game and have the na version + nostalgia since was first FF ive ever played
actually, you picked one up back in Sunleth..you know..the forest with the awesome music? If you sold it, you'll need to buy itfrom the platinum workshop. I forgot when it's avalible.
FFX Wakka's TKO ball. you get it early in the game, and it reliable petrifys enemy monsters. and since it's a blitzball, it can be used on airborne foess
I used the Cursed Ring + Power soul combo Tifa and still had KoTR/her limits outdamge it ie even at both full and low HP I didn't have her attack command do more then 5000 damage per turn not 9999 per turn.
I knew Seitengrat would be on there, but kind of expected 12's Masamune as well, since in ZJS if you put that on Ashe with the Genji Gauntlet she can solo Yiazmat in under 10 minutes. That combo is flat out dumb.
Great top 10 as always DK! I really want to see your top 10 final fantasy games or top 5...I know what one and two are but the rest of the series I dont know how they rank for you. Im really curious to know so if you dont want to make that video can you tell me in a message on here please?
The Blood Sword, while extremely powerful, has one glaring weakness: it is useless against undead monsters (inflicting damage to the wielder and healing the monster). And most of the dungeon leading up to the final clash with the Demon Emperor is filled with encounters containing powerful undead troops. So you can't really use the weapon in most encounters late game..
Top ten grinding spots, grinding strategies, or anything about grinding/leveling in final fantasy games
If you like grinding so much why don't you play disgaea
Locke's Valiant knife in FF6 is pretty underrated. You get the atma weapon earlier technically but neither weapon is really abusable until you get the offering (or have 9999 hp), and the valiant knife just gets stronger the more you get hit rather than losing damage as you get hit, it's like the power soul that was mentioned, except you can easily hit 9999x4 at around 2/3 of 9999 user hp instead of needing to be all the way in critical status. You'd probably be thrilled to know Rikku was always in my end game party, mainly because she could swim.
DK you deserve so many more subscribers
I'm working on getting them.
You'll get there man. Just keep making awesome vids
thanks for your support ^_^
DK is probably the greatest FF fan ever. He doesn't dislike games like 13-2 just because a lot of others did, he knows all of his shit, he's funny...the list goes on.
Agreed ^.^ Mainly because hes funny XD
Did not know about the death sentence effect on the Powersoul. The curse ring just got a lot more useful, thanks!
Is always a joy seeing my beloved ffxii in one of your videos
I would have included the Demonsbane sword from FFXII, since you can get it on your first visit to Raithwall's Tomb and it deals massive damage for the levels your characters will be at.
Dude you should do a remake like this for other games.
You make the best videos on TH-cam, and your comedic timing is unrivaled.. you spoony bard
Suggestion: how about a top 10 list of the most powerful spells/abilities in final fantasy and perhaps another with the top most useful spells/abilities.
Kael Thor I may look into that...
Darkkefka How about top 10 most useless consumable/usable items in ff
akdude80 Lol well number one already is either a pebble or knot of rust haha.
Kael Thor How about when: IT'S OVER NINE THOOOOUSSSAAANNNDDDDDDD!
What do you mean what is it? It's a cheap, cheat spell. It's real--you use GameShark. Cheating through games...life...no bueno... :/.....lol.
Good list. First Strike weapons are generally useful in FFX along with Stonestrike or optionally with Sensor.
in final fantasy VI there are two better options as thrown weapons for 10th place: the pinwheel, and the impartisan (which is really a spear made for imps, but still does max damage when thrown)
Agree 100 percent for a good part of the game Autocrossbow is the best
One of the BloodSwords I found useful was the Drainer in Final Fantasy 6. If you manage to steal it of Number 028 in the Magitek Lab you can equip it on Locke. Now by itself it's less than useful, but give Locke the Thief Glove, and use Capture and now Locke not only has a powerful attack ability, but Capture bypasses the HP Steal effect dealing the weapon's real damage rate which for the time being, is the highest possible you can deal, and it even works on undead.
Excalibur and Save The Queen - Final Fantasy Tactics.
once i got either one of those weapons, it was basically game over.
#6. The masamune is the second easiest to get. Much easier than 200 lightning, cactuars, racing, or blitzball.
Scimitar FF6: decent attack power and random Odin-style dispatch/instant kill. Ancient sword FF2: random curse [massive drop to enemy stats, and you get it super early], FF7 apocalypyse: cloud's 3rd most powerful weapon and x3 materia growth. FF1: Heal staff and Thor's Hammer: free cure on entire party or thundara when used, saving those limited spell slots or giving knights offensive magic
i've been watching a lot of your videos and having a lot of good laughs here and there. Thanks! You earned another subscriber!

Definitely. Got a PS2 a while back, and I don't regret getting a copy of it. I mean, what game makes GRINDING fun?! With turbo mode and all the treasures you can collect there's almost no reason not to grind.
Potpourri He should just make a top 10 reasons to buy IZJS.

You know what I miss? Quality AMVs, you should be a top 10 FF based AMVs
You can either buy it at Junon in Disc 2 or 3 or at Mt. Nibel where the Materia Keeper is at and take Slide 2 to get it.

- Top 10 Most Dangerous Final Fantasy Locations (optional or not, you do not even consider stepping foot into some places without some serious preparations; I haven't played the majority of Final Fantasy games, but from what I played, I'd like to nominate the Subterra (FFXII), the Henne Mines (FFXII) and of course, Via Infinito (FFX-2))
- Top 10 Most Difficult To Find Monsters (whether it's for the sake of completing the bestiary, for obtaining rare items or for another reason entirely, some enemies are just too damn difficult to find; my nominees are: the Garif Adventurer (FFXII), Larva Eater (FFXII) and Don Tonberry (FFXIII-2))
- Top 10 Final Fantasy Summons (this depends on whether you intend to focus on individual summons and how effetive they are, or just summon names and include their entire impact on the storyline, in which case Bahamut, Ifreet and Shiva will most likely be hogging for the top spots;)
- Top 10 Final Fantasy Villains (Everyone seems to be doing it, so why not? I intend to make a list like this myself, provided Final Fantasy passes as an otaku topic for the group... long story;)
- Top 10 Final Fantasy Plot-Twists (also called "WTF Plot Moments", you did mention what moment ticked you off the most, but with all due respect, I'd really like to see reactions to actual FF plot points as I haven't played most of them; now, the things I'm certain will make to this list, if you ever make one, would be: Aerith's Death (FFVII), The Destruction Of The World (FFVI), Vossler's Treason (FFXII) and, of course, the Ending (FFXIII-2))
- Top 10 Final Fantasy Final Bosses (this one includes spoilers, alright; once the story comes to a close, what final enemy put up the most fight, gave you the most trouble in beating, and gave you the most sattisfaction after finaling doing the sucker in! Orphan(FFXIII) and all his stages would most likely quallify, as the final boss is difficult, bizzare-looking and you really want to kick his ass;)
So, is any of these doable?
Orphan also had amazing music
Leo Jakšić Oh and don't forget the Great Crystal (FFXII)
I think I would like to see a top 10 best and worst moments in your LPs DK. It would be kinda fun to find out what you think about them!
I love your countdowns, man. I really like the ones where you get mad and curse the games!
How did Wakka's T.K.O not make the list? You get it pretty early and can use it 'til endgame.
DK here is a list of top 10 you could do for future reference :
1- Memorable/likeable Villains
2- Useless Spells
3- Scenery
4- Ugliest Characters
5- Beautiful/Memorable Cut scene
6- Useless Characters
Hey dk, a top 10 armor sets would be interesting, looks and usability would obviously need to be taken into account. Or you could do the top 10 idyllic locations in final fantasy, I am a fan of Alexandria in ff9 myself. Keep the videos coming dude!
Refresh my memory. The two things that survive lionheart are omega weapon (obviously) and ultimecia at a high level, right?
I've gone through it once, but I actually started a new game a few days ago. I'm farming Shrouds in Chapter 2 first. I'll wait until I get 99 of each before moving on.
top ten accessories, will catnip beat ribbon? Also factoring them into the games they come from
Blood sword is pretty late in the game in FF2 (not the end but only a few areas left), it's pretty obscure to find with a small window, and it's completely miss-able.
I've got a questions Darkkefka are you going 2 update your top 10 lists if you play lightning returns final fantasy 13 I mean you may find a boss you like right plus the other stuff there may be in the game or are you not going 2 play it?
hey Darkkefka did you use photoshop to make that intro picture, cause it looks amazing!
An honorable mention should be the Scorpion Tail from FF12. It is the strongest 1 handed weapon,so you can equip a good shield with it,AND it can be made relatively early in the game-compared with the other top weapons.
How in the world did you get Relm to equip the Ultima Weapon? It can only be equipped by Locke, Celes, Terra, and Edgar!
there is a relic what gives you the ability to equip everything
There's also Desch's weapon in FFIII that was able to deal 1 damage to the Nepto Dragon that took 0 damage from anything else.
have you done fave villain and I guess number 1 would be kefka
another one for Aurun from FFX, when you get to calm lands, get him a weapon with evade and counter, and maybe a few strength+ and have him on perma' cover, he covers with a guaranteed evade, and counters with a heavy attack, just have the other 2 party members strike the magic attackers at that point. had him with that all through out calm lands to zanarkand and made catching mobs at that point in the game a breeze
top ten most impresive looking limit breaks/overdrives/ultimate attacks from both characters or summonings.
Speaking of, DK have you played crystal chronicles? I think you'd like it.
Hey, DK. Have you considered top 10 grinding spots?
Remembering the 'What what what? What the f*** was that s***!?' Loved that over and over. 1:59
for auron what overdrive mode is he on that gives him back his overdrive from using it
dude i dont know how you do it but this is GREAT
What do you think about using Fang as the lead against a Long Gui? Using Highwind just before the stagger runs out and you can take Long Gui down in two cycles?
I've been doing this for a while to get platinum ingots so any faster way would be much appreciated!
2 rounds? With Vanille spamming Death that does 999999 per hit, you can beat Long Gui in 1 round...
Thanks DK and Ali for your advice. I think Vanille may just be broken with that Malboro Wand. Maybe Idk.
How you can play FFXII in a computer? i rly dont know how, can someone explain this pls?
Probably on an emulator.
@HicksZ34 Oh, uhm. Ok. I myself am a console player but most steam ports suck.
Don't you think getting either item in the number one spot makes the game really boring? Or is it at all worthwhile? I've never gotten either so I'm curious.
What about the Masamune from FFXII for using on Hell Wyrm, Yiazmat, Omega and etc? I thought that was extremely useful especially with decoy + reverse
May I ask where you obtained that image at the end with Ashelia and Ultima?
theres nothing specific about this video or your channel but the reason i subscribe is cuz it seems like youve beaten every numeric Final Fantasy game 1-15. its not as common as it seems, im a completionist like you in all my FF games cuz im a fanatic so i know all these details you talk about in your top 10 videos. thats what makes me apreciate your channel
Really liked the countdown. I kinda hoped #1 wouldn't be #1 since they're almost literally impossible to get without a guide, but I guess it's true that if you know about them, the game is over right there.
Suggestion: Top 10 Jobs
I know it excludes a lot of Final Fantasy games, but the amount of jobs in FF V and X-2 make up for that.
Pretty badass
excalibur can be found from great crystal but how do you get white robes?
I'm curious why the Lion Heart is number 5. Surely with it's power and how early you can get it, it would be further up the list.
DK, please do another top 10, i love watching them
DK I love your Top 10 ! Can you do more of them please?
9:20 it was made even more over power in the original release in which you were given two of them door will be in them you were unstoppable unless you attacked a zombie
You can get Zodiac Spear by using the somehow-confusing-at-first RNG trick at the Henne mines. You can get like 99 time, just like Seintegrat. If you still confuse about the RNG trick,it appear that you only can get 1 Zodiac Spear.
You say there's no hint towards the Zodiac Spear but doesn't a soldier in the bazaar mention a legendary wyrm, a palace under the sand and a weapon?
Just awesome DK, one of your best vids
i was just curious. what FF4 version was the one that feature Edward's Loki's Lute?
never mind. i wasnt paying attention. psp version. still great video by the way!
Silver Sword from Final Fantasy 1, so much power at such an early point in the game :)
my level 50 tifa has 50 strength. Try using the Gigas Armlet and a few Power sources.
I know this was uploaded before 15 was around, but I would suggest the Ring of the Lucii, or as I like to call it, the Implosion Ring.
The blood sword does that only to the emperor, but on all the other fights it acts as you might expect.; low damage/accuracy and therefore healing.
Top 10 summons or grinding areas would be good to see
If there is going to a top ten summons list...in terms of power its between anima or KOTK however eden, zodiark or bahamut are in with a shout. yojimbo is a spam.
Hey DK mind tellin me how to get the zodiac spear cause at one point my house had the massive guide book with stats and maps for everything in 12 but after quite a few years and meh dad being a bit dumb with it (tried to put it into a fuckin binder) it was basicly destroyed and i no longer have access to it, and dont feel like using the web to search, just askin cause wanna replay the game and have the na version + nostalgia since was first FF ive ever played
it depends if I come across anything worth putting on the list.
actually, you picked one up back in Sunleth..you know..the forest with the awesome music?
If you sold it, you'll need to buy itfrom the platinum workshop. I forgot when it's avalible.
Your commentaries on all of these videos are fucking perfect.
The Hammer for the White Mage in Final Fantasy 1.
helps a lot for the first part of the game.
FFX Wakka's TKO ball. you get it early in the game, and it reliable petrifys enemy monsters. and since it's a blitzball, it can be used on airborne foess
yeah, but you have to listen to him :/ dude needs a mute button
I used the Cursed Ring + Power soul combo Tifa and still had KoTR/her limits outdamge it ie even at both full and low HP I didn't have her attack command do more then 5000 damage per turn not 9999 per turn.
I don't know about it because I play the Japanese version, but I think you can do it at any airship route. But i didn't try it yet.
Top ten growth systems. Espers in FFVI, equipment in FFIX, min-maxing/Junctioning in FFVIII, Sphere Grid in FFX, etc.
Great list man can't wait for the next video
The Blood Sword, while extremely powerful, has one glaring weakness: it is useless against undead monsters (inflicting damage to the wielder and healing the monster). And most of the dungeon leading up to the final clash with the Demon Emperor is filled with encounters containing powerful undead troops. So you can't really use the weapon in most encounters late game..
Um...quick question...FFVII. How do you get powersoul? I haven't ever heard of that weapon! Can you tell me? Please!?
