    In your shaker, was there cubed or crushed ice? Also when making the drink at home, can u add straight agave to it? Or you always do the 1 part water?

      That's Siete Leguas Blanco a very good brand (I don't see it often). But he says Blanco 100% Agave which you can also find in other brands but remember the cocktail is only as good as the weakest ingredient. There are some other good brands as well, though! I would recommend Casa Amigos, Clase Azul, or Milagro. Patron is a well-known brand that isn't bad, but I personally think it is over-rated/overpriced so I prefer all the others I mentioned first.

      Milagro is awesome for the price 👌

    It's a period-correct glass, in terms of both size and style. Not sure about the salt being period-correct though.

    Well, it does matter if it's the tommy's margarita, or any other reconstructed recipe, or the classic one. The reason is simple. The drinks are not intented to be consumed by the bartender, but by the customers. As a margarita lover, when I ask for a classic margarita, I simply don't want any sugar, or agave in it. I want fresh lime juice, dry orange liqueur and blanco tequila

    nobody would squeeze lime wedge as well (if you dropped it inside like you did with a wheel) :)
    Ps: what about using lemon juice? It has more sugar (since you are saying it is not enough sugar for you while adding syrup for that). I know lemon juice has less acid than lime, but more sugar. Maybe that would be an option because of more sugar ?

      chris ce well, there is a right and wrong way because if you pour vodka and apple juice into a glass and call it a margarita... It isn't a fucking margarita 👏

      +Jack Lee some bars prefer coupes, the coupe is to be help by the stem so that your hand does not warm up the cocktail. our bar doesn't use coupes, we do way too much volume to worry about these fragile little devils

    • @tomjens2046
      @tomjens2046 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      So in what kind of glass you would serve low volume cocktail straight up? At home I do my margaritas even in rocks glass, but the volume is like half of the rocks glass... Would not look nice to any customer :)

    Don´t touch the ice. And please don´t call it boston shaker. Rather name it as big tin and small tin. Boston shaker is called when there´s boston glass as well.
